1. Travel by yourself

6. Do something crazy

Have you ever wanted to go sky diving or swim with sharks? There is no better time to do something crazy or scary than while in your 20s. Once you get married and start having kids you feel a different kind of responsibility for life. You have people that need you, love you (besides your parents) and would be lost without you. The desire for fleeting adventure diminishes, so get the urge out beforehand.


7.Date a lot

Date as much as possible. Not only is it fun, but it will give you the opportunity to discover what it is you really want in a potential mate.

8. Figure out what makes you happy

If you haven't found your happy place yet, start looking. It can be a physical place, or even an activity that you do to unwind or that allows you to reconnect with yourself.

9. Learn life skills

It is important to know how to cook, clean, budget and handle adult responsibilities. This will help you throughout your whole life, so better to learn it now than trying to figure it out after you've hit 30.

10. Visit a foreign country

12. Take a class just for fun

If you already have your college degree, or are still working on it, make sure to take a class just for fun. Don't stop learning just because you received your diploma. 13. Make a bucket list

It is never too early to start a bucket list. Some things you may complete in the next few years, while other things you may not get to until you are retired. But the more things you cross off your list, the more you can add to it later on!

Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after agreeing a fee in the region of £35million with Arsenal for the England international.
Oxlade-Chamberlain will now discuss personal terms with the Blues and is expected to complete the switch across London before the transfer window shuts on Thursday night.
As reported by Telegraph Sport, Oxlade-Chamberlain rejected Arsenal’s last contract offer and told manager Arsene Wenger he wanted to leave the club before Sunday’s thrashing at Liverpool .
Wenger had insisted Oxlade-Chamberlain would not be sold earlier this summer, but it appears the Frenchman’s hand has now been forced.
Oxlade-Chamberlain will be granted special leave from England duty while he ties up his Chelsea move and could miss the World Cup qualifier against Malta.
The 24-year-old is part of Gareth Southgate’s England squad and is due to travel to Malta for the World Cup qualifier on Thursday – transfer deadline day.
But should talks and a medical drag towards deadline day, then Oxlade-Chamberlain could be left behind when the rest of the England squad travel.
Chelsea, though, will hope to wrap-up the signing of Oxlade-Chamberlain before Thursday, as they are also chasing deals for Leicester City’s Danny Drinkwater, Everton’s Ross Barkley and Swansea City’s Fernando Llorente before the transfer window closes.
Southgate accepts that the timing of the deadline means he needs to be flexible and recognises that forcing Oxlade-Chamberlain, or anyone else, to travel to Malta with their club future in the balance would be counter-productive.
Having named a bigger than usual 28-man squad, Southgate has plenty of options if he has to let Oxlade-Chamberlain miss the Malta game and there is no guarantee the midfielder would start for England on Friday night in any case.
Fortunately for Southgate, Oxlade-Chamberlain is the only member of the England squad who currently looks like he could be involved in transfer negotiations this week.

Former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison Madueke has finally spoken on several allegations of financial impropriety levelled against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Diezani said she never stole Nigeria’s money.
The former Minister made the claim in a statement she issued yesterday.
She said the anti-graft agency was taking advantage of her silence to try and convict her in the media hence her response.
Recall that the EFCC had alleged that Diezani Alison-Madueke, a former minister of Petroleum Resources, by an order of a Federal High Court has forfeited $153.3 million to the Federal Government.
Diezani’s statement, which was made available to newsmen in Abuja, reads, “I wish to state I cannot forfeit what was never mine.
“I do not know the basis on which the EFCC has chosen to say that I am the owner of these funds as no evidence was provided to me before the order was obtained, and they have not, in fact, served me with the order or any evidence since they obtained it.”
“Let me re-state categorically as I have always maintained, for the record, I have not and will never steal money from or defraud the Federal Government of Nigeria. I am willing to respond to charges brought against me that follow duly laid down procedures,” she said.
The former Minister dared the EFCC to without further delay, publish details of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC’s accounts from where the said $153.3 million was taken.
She also said that the report that Italian prosecutors indicted her for sharing in the loot of the $1.3 billion OPL 245 oil block deal, which involved Malabu and the Joint Venture Multinational partners, ENI (AGIP) and Royal Dutch was false.
She continued, “Let me once again state for the record that this is another figment of the author’s imagination, which, given the persistent bid to ensure my destruction and stick all of the sins of the corruption that plagued oil and gas sector in the last 30 years upon my head, probably emanated from the EFCC itself.
“Let me clear the history of OPL 245, otherwise known as Malabu. You will find a full chronology in the attached report that I made to the House of Representatives in late 2011 (Annex 2A/Annex-2B).
“In 2010, shortly after I was appointed as Minister of Petroleum Resources, the issue of OPL 245 was brought to my attention. I looked into the case and immediately became aware of the inherent and long standing sensitivities around this issue.
“It became clear from the onset that this case was not within the direct purview of the Minister of Petroleum Resources, but, in the main, was centered around issues of law.
“By this time, there was already an International Centre for Settlement of Investment Dispute (ICSID) investigation and claims against the FGN running into billions of dollars.
“Therefore, we took directives from the Chief Legal Officer of the nation; the Attorney General and Minister of Justice. In all of these matters due process was followed to the letter at all times.
“I wish to categorically state that I have never held any discussions on this matter, with any individuals or entities outside of official channels.
“As Minister of Petroleum Resources, I did not participate in any activity relating to financial payments on the Malabu matter, other than those statutorily mandated to the Minister of Petroleum Resources by the Petroleum Act.
“My role in this matter was purely a statutory, one as required by law in the Petroleum Act 3.
“In response, I have chosen not to insult, accuse or demonise any person or persons. In spite of all the allegations that have been made against me, not one has been factually proven.
“I remain very proud of the fact that all the policies, tenets and plans that I initiated in the oil and gas sector are still underpinning the entire structure. This is because they were put in place with the good of the entire nation and its people in mind.
“They were not factional or tribal, neith
er were they based on religious bias.
“I am a woman from the Niger Delta, who, through perseverance and sheer hard work rose to one of the highest positions in the country’s premier International Oil Company, and in tune with my ethos of hard work, I earned the prestigious British Foreign and Commonwealth Chevening Scholarship Award and was, thereafter, admitted to my MBA programme at the World renowned Cambridge University,” she said.

A man has received the shock of his life after he caught his childless wife having s*x with her customer to get pregnant.

A man identified as Udemeh Ukarette has reportedly suffered heart break after he caught his wife, Joy with her customer having s*x in a popular hotel in order to get pregnant and bear a child for him.

The incident reportedly happened at Toyin Giwa Avenue in Afonka Shasha area of Lagos.

P. M. Express reports that the couple was yet to have a child 13 years after they got married while Udemeh had sent away another woman he married and impregnated before he met Joy.

However, Joy tried to explain to him that she did so in order to get pregnant and bear a child for him since he had tried for several years without result and he accepted.

It turned out his wife enjoyed the romp with an undisclosed man and continued the relationship without getting pregnant but did not inform her husband.

P. M. Express reports that when her husband eventually discovered and asked her to stop meeting the man since he was unable to get her pregnant, she refused and insisted that the man was her big customer at her beer joint. This become an Issue as Joy has threatened to dump her husband and concentrate on the new lover.

It was gathered that both Udemeh and Joy were of the Anan stock in Akwa Ibom State and throughout those years, they have tried both medical and spiritual assistance to get a child but their efforts did not yield result. 

It was then that Joy started going out with her customer without her husband’s knowledge. Her husband later knew and trailed her to the hotel where he met her with the man.

The matter was reported to the Akwa Ibom town union, Lagos branch who attempted to resolve the matter but the woman insisted that she will not leave her new lover. She suggested that she can still continue to marry her husband at the same time maintain the relationship with her lover which did not go down well with the union.

When the president of their Akwa Ibom town union, Mr Robert Akpan, was contacted he confirmed that the couple were having issues in their marriage and the union attempted to resolve it to no avail.

I hope this will help to erase the wrong statement credited to you at your party, the PDP Convention at the Eagle Square last weekend that you handed to President Buhari a robustly healthy economy.
To the same extent, this should also help to erase yet another false statement by Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, the Caretaker Chairman of the party, to the effect that under the previous administration there was money but now things are very hard.
Let me start by reasserting an obvious statement, which is that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration was handed an economy ravaged by years of mismanagement and corruption.
It is understandable that Dr. Jonathan kept his comments short, because a cursory look at any sector clearly indicated that he and his Government presided over the most monumental and tragic economic mismanagement recorded in our national history.

The oil sector boomed under his tenure, with oil prices as high as US$ 120 and peace in the Nigeria Delta. Nigeria earned unprecedented dollar revenues. Sadly, that is where the story turns sour. There is nothing to show for the revenues earned, no major capital project was completed, neither power generation, road development, rail or agriculture benefitted from the windfall earnings. Rather the administration presided over the diversion of oil revenues on a such a massive scale, that even without the protection now accorded to Whistle blowers, the then Central Bank Governor blew not only a whistle but a trumpet. He was hurriedly shown the door. Meanwhile, the acquisition by public officers and their cohorts of private jets, luxury yachts and the accumulation of expensive property portfolios world-wide continued unabated. Indeed the President once celebrated having the largest number of private jets, whilst our youth languished without jobs, our fields stood idle and our factories began the lay off of workers.
Government simply reticulated oil revenue through personal spending by corrupt leaders, wasteful expenses and salaries. This was done rather than investing in what would grow the economy. Economies grow due to capital investment in assets like seaports, airports, power plants, railways, roads and housing. Nigeria can not record a single major infrastructural project in the last 10 years. In short the money was mismanaged.
Such was the looting that even the goose that was laying the golden egg was being systematically starved. The direct contractual costs of oil produced , in the form of cash calls, remained unpaid. The incoming, President Buhari’s welcome from the oil majors included demand for US$6Bn owed by Nigeria for oil that had already been sold or stolen.
At the inception of the current administration, 21 States were unable to meet their salary bills and the specter of workers arrears had commenced. The PDP solution was the raid the Ecological Fund and selectively grant N2Bn each to the PDP States. It was only aggressive borrowing by the Ministry of Finance under Dr. Okonjo- Iweala that prevented Federal Government from also owing salaries. The economic wisdom of borrowing to pay recurrent bills is a questionable one, particularly as those paid would have included over 45,000 that have subsequently been removed by the Buhari led administration as ghost workers. It also included the lavish costs of chartering private jets, first class travel and other wasteful acts that have been eliminated under this administration.
To compound the problem the government was borrowing heavily and owed contractors, and international oil companies. When this government took over we had accumulated debt back to the level it was before the Paris Club Debt Forgiveness.
All these factors were building up to Nigeria heading for a major crisis if the price of oil fell. Nigeria did not have fiscal buffers to withstand an oil shock.
The oil shock should and could have been foreseen. When Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, ISIS crisis started, it was clear that the United States of America wanted to cut off funds to terror groups by crashing the price of oil. When America granted permission for exploration of oil on land ( Shale) the warning signs were evident, but these were ignored by Nigeria’s economic managers.
In summary Nigeria earned a lot of money when oil prices were high but there is nothing to show for it. Now oil prices have fallen we are suffering.
What could they have done differently?
They could have begun doing the very things that the Muhammadu Buhari administration is doing so painfully now:
1. Fight corruption.
2. Sanitize the huge salary bill by eliminating payroll fraud.
3. Reduce wasteful expenses like First Class Travel and Private jets.
4. Encourage State Governments to reform their spending and build savings or investments.
5. Increase spending on capital projects especially on infrastructure needed to make Nigerian businesses competitive and create jobs.
6. Block the leakages that allowed government revenues to be siphoned into private hands.
7. Focus on key sectors ( apart from oil) that can create jobs and or generate revenue such as Agriculture, Solid Minerals, and Manufacturing.
If these things had been done when the oil price was as high as US$120 per barrel, Nigeria would not be in the current predicament.
We would not be suffering now if we had no cash reserves but we had power, or a rail system, or good roads, or good housing. But we don’t have money and we don’t have the projects either.
Now that the oil has fallen below those levels, it is very difficult to do what is needed but they must be done to save Nigeria. There is no other way if we want to be honest.
If PDP were still in power they would have continued deceiving people, by borrowing to fund stealing and wastage and the problem would have simply been postponed for future generations to face.
One of former President Jonathon’s specific boasts is that dollar under him was N180 compared to today. With such a line of argument, it is clear why we are where we are. With oil prices as high as $120 the average inflow of dollars each month was high, making it easy to support cheap dollars. However, with oil price plummeting as low as $28, the fundamental laws of supply and demand dictated that the currency would need to adjust since oil was the sole export. It is instructive to note that virtually every major oil exporter has witnessed currency adjustments with the fall in oil price.
The Buhari administration has taken a long term strategic view of supporting a stable naira on both the supply and demand sides. President Buhari has driven Import substitution to reduce demand for dollars to buy things we can produce thereby creating thousands of rural jobs in rice and other staples. In addition, there is a credible plan to diversify our revenue sources away from oil, with a focus on export crops as well as solid minerals, with the release of US$100M fund to develop solid mineral extraction.
President Muhammdu Buhari has a positive and prosperous vision for Nigeria. A nation in which the natural talent and hard work of the people is being supported by an enabling environment for infrastructural development and policy reforms that will develop a firm future for our nation. Nigerians are looking forward and the PDP’s lurking in the economic rear view mirror only underscores the resolve of Nigerians, that as far as the economy is concerned it is ‘'never again."
