سحيميظل: Leave a 180k job where I sit in d office all day, with AC for one that pays 80k under harsh conditions, hmmm...but after sitting under your AC, i want you to calculate number of years you'll nid to work b4 u can buy all d tyres of a big truck? Nt to talk of you buying truck wey him go colet free of charge afta covering sum distance, i no go lie u , u go borow moni 4rm cooperative societies and banks to buy ur own truck wit dt ur 180k job. |
That's the more reason one must always think out of the box even before the moment he/she accepts the "JOB" (just over broke) offer. I just hope that one day "We" youth will stop believing in the "A4" (Result) paper they give us in school after using four/five precious years of our lives buying various textbooks (known old knowledge that are not useful/applicable in this present age). |
BetaThings: ExactlyThere was never an agreement between individual Corper and INEC, it was Nysc they entered into an agreement with. Nysc submitted corpers' name that are in their records (clearance list), so it's without the consent of corpers the agreement was reached. Even the oath form (EC 17A) that was given to 'some' corpers to fill was never collected. |
Why won't they run? when they know that there lives doesn't have a duplicate. We were told by our trainer (SPO) during the INEC training that Ilaje is the most dangerous place in Ondo State, that election materials are always hijacked by hoodlums and Corpers are always thrown into the river because it's a riverine area. I want to believe that many corpers were scared of the unknown, I just thank God that my ward in Ondo West (Ondo Town) was peaceful that day despite the bad records i learnt the place used to have. The most annoying part of the whole issue is that INEC hasn't paid us up to this moment. This country is not worth dying for, if you ask me. |
I Hate 9ja: 400k sha,excluding ur pocket allowanceThanks. |

This may sound ridiculous to professional job seekers on NL, but not to an undergraduate or some corpers like me. I will appreciate all your professional answers. Thanks. |

Why is that ESUT is known for bad things? Epitome of worst things. I wonder how their graduates secure job in the labour market. |
I think some people are just after nailing Tinubu to the cross, I think people needs to be more objective than been subjective in their criticism. I live in Ondo presently and to be candid, what people read on newspapers about Ondo's development is false. I'm not a fan of Tinubu and also not a hater of Mimiko as a person, but the truth is that Mimiko's government/administration has failed when it comes to development in Ondo. Mimiko concentrated on the state capital (which is expected from any reasonable govt. in power) in the last three years and ignored all other local govt. including his home town (Ondo West). Lastly, to those saying ACN rigged and others didn't, for your information, Labour party gave all corps members bribe, which I refused to take. So, don't judge from outside of the arena. For me, I would rather go with a man with no arms that is caring than to follow a man with arms that is not caring. |
Smooyis: I visisted akure many times b4 d election. I knew it would be difficult for any party to wrestle power from LP. Congrats t mimikoU only visited 1 local govt out of 18, d development in Mimiko's home town sef na zero. |
feelamong: that is the chairman of our local Bus park at Shomolu!guy, u too funny o. |
