Putindbutt: In the last FCT elections, ADC had a situation room, Obidients set up a separate situation room They had gatherings, not a situation room. How can you have a situation room without polling agents in all the polls? What is being reported back and collated and analyzed? How do they know where they need to signal their lawyers to look at and raise potential issues? The APC situation room is not for show. A lot of monitoring and reporting is going back and forth from each polling agent in each polling unit. |

A very lazy opposition. Tinubu is a very organized man. He keeps to timelines and is a very good leader that holds his people to the goal. I don't think any of these ADC ever worked in the private sector and know the discipline required to meet targets. Just old political jobbers. They can still get a register in check by the end of march. Its not late. They need to work and not give up. What on earth have they been doing? Just incompetent excuse upon excuse. Election is less than 1 year! |

Ashirioluwa: Both the US federal and PA state minimum wages are currently at $7.25, but most entry-level jobs pay well above $15.
Most Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medical Assistant (MA) positions in Pennsylvania, and specifically the Philadelphia area, pay significantly above $15 per hour.
Also, stores like Walmart, BJ's, Wawa, ACME, and CVS pay well over $15 for entry-level store associates. That is in philadelphia with a much higher cost of living, not in southern states. eg. arkansas, louisiana. etc. Even texas wages are cheaper than philadelphia. Its commiserate to the cost of living. Northeastern states generally pay highest but they have very expensive rent and very competitive jobs due to population density (obviously some states in the west and north too). In the south or midwest, there are jobs that don't even get filled on time, cos not much people, land as far as your eyes can see, theyre begging you to come and buy lots. If you're a business person, you will live like a king in the south. If you're a career person, maybe the dense states are better. |

aestake: Congrats! What do you mean by the bold? I meant pay, not apply. I didn’t know as well that I needed to pay for the green card thats why I did it so late. After you get your visa, you are meant to pay for your green card on the uscis website. Some people even paid for it already before they left Nigeria, and then it takes about a month for the card to come in the mail (to your US address). Someone put the website up in earlier pages in December thats when I saw it. |

We got in the US on the 5th of December. Applied for my familys green cards on the 17th and our green cards just came in the mail. I was really praying all these bans wouldn't affect it. We thank God.
Those of us that interviewed in November literally just scraped by Trumps gates. This was what he did in his 1st term and i know the pain of the whole process being on hold for3/ 4 years after waiting like 14 years already. It will pass and those waiting will still get to reunite with their families. Just focus on other productive things. It was in my time of waiting i pivoted from audit to a data analyst career that got me to the UK on a skilled worker visa. God will still work his plans out in our lives so stay positive. |

internationalman: Even Delta airlines pays entry level ramp agents with no experience or educational qualifications $22..
No employer pays the $7 or $8 minimum wage, unless they want use their family members do the job. It all depends on the state you’re in. Even many medical assistants get $8, $10 jobs in the south. Cities are generally expensive and pay higher because of it. Cost of living is on par. |

You can’t satisfy everyone, Lagos Imam tells Tinubu
President Bola Tinubu joined Muslim worshippers on Friday at the Lekki Central Mosque in Lagos for Jumat prayers.
National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu; Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat; Chief of Staff to the President, Rt-Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Principal Private Secretary to the President Hakeem Muri-Okunola during the Jumat Prayer at the Lekki Central Mosque, Lagos State. Friday, December 26, 2025.
The visiting Imam, Dr Salahudeen Arriyadhi, praised the President for the numerous developmental projects being carried out by his administration and encouraged him to stay resolute despite criticisms.
A Friday statement shared by Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), Bayo Onanuga, revealed this.
“You cannot satisfy everyone at the same time,” Dr Arriyadhi told Tinubu.
Quoting the Quran, he added, “Allah was happy with leaders who listened to the cries of his followers but unhappy with leaders who do not attend to the needs of the led.
“We are praying for you, and you will succeed.”
In his sermon titled ‘Unity in Diversity’ and ‘Remembering the Day of Judgement’, Dr Arriyadhi emphasised that human diversity in colour, tribe, religion, language, and nation was deliberate, ordained by Allah.
He said, “Diversity is a sign of Allah’s Wisdom. If Allah had wanted every one of his creations to be one, he would have created them one.
“Diversity in religion and tribe should not be a source of problems.”
He urged that differences be viewed as a foundation for harmony, learning, and unity.
Tinubu, accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Rt-Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, and National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, was welcomed at the mosque by the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, and the mosque management.

He also said in this mornings interviews that if it is deemed necessary by the US department of war and the Nigerian Defense, more strikes could be coming.
Also the US and Nigeria have been running collaborative recognizance on all terrorist spots since November. Nigerian defense still talked about it on Dec 24th.

Politics › Tinubu Gave Go-ahead For US Strikes, Nigeria Provided Intelligence — FG by leanonme82(op): 5:42pm On Dec 26, 2025 |
The Nigeria government says President Bola Tinubu gave the go-ahead for the US strikes against terrorists in the country’s North-Western region.
Foreign Affairs Minister, Yusuf Tuggar, said this on Friday, hours after the US Department of War and President Donald Trump announced the North American nation had conducted strikes against the terrorists.
“Now that the US is cooperating, we would do it jointly, and we would ensure, just as the President emphasised yesterday before he gave the go-ahead, that it must be made clear that it is a joint operation, and it is not targeting any religion nor simply in the name of one religion or the other,” the minister said on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily.
“We are a multi-religious country, and we are working with partners like the US to fight terrorism and safeguard the lives and properties of Nigerians,” the minister said.
Some have viewed the strikes as a violation of the country’s territorial integrity, but Tuggar says the Federal Government would not take any actions that would violate the country’s sovereignty.
“It is a collaboration, it is what we have been calling for,” Tuggar said on the breakfast show.
“It was Nigeria that provided intelligence for the US strike in Nigeria. I spoke with the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, for 19 minutes before the strike, and we agreed to talk to President Tinubu for his go-ahead, and he gave it,” the Bauchi-born minister said.
“After the approval, I spoke again with Marco Rabio five minutes before the strike was launched against the terrorists.”
On Thursday, the Department of Defense said “multiple ISIS terrorists” were killed in the strikes conducted at the behest of the Nigerian government.
Trump also announced the strikes, saying, “The Department of War executed numerous perfect strikes, as only the United States is capable of doing. Under my leadership, our Country will not allow Radical Islamic Terrorism to prosper.
“May God bless our Military, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, including the dead Terrorists, of which there will be many more if their slaughter of Christians continues,” he wrote on Truth Social.
Although the details of the attack were not stated, the US Department of War later published a short video clip showing an airstrike in Nigeria.
The US Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, and the US Africa Command (AFRICOM) said the strikes in Sokoto were in “coordination with Nigerian authorities.”
“The @DeptofWar is always ready, so ISIS found out tonight — on Christmas. More to come… Grateful for Nigerian government support & cooperation,” Hegseth wrote on X.
Thursday’s strikes come several weeks after the Republican president said Christians in Nigeria faced an “existential threat” that amounted to “genocide”.
Trump placed Nigeria back on the list of “Countries of Particular Concern,” threatened military action in the West African nation if the issue is not addressed. He later imposed visa restrictions on Nigerians.
But the Nigerian authorities rejected the framing of the violence in the country as religious, saying people of diverse faiths are targeted in killings in the nation. Source: https://www.channelstv.com/2025/12/26/tinubu-gave-go-ahead-for-us-strikes-it-was-a-joint-operation-fg/
