Nice one Asake...but Burna Boy is the king of sell out shows,
He has this electrifying stage performance no dull moments,
And I kind of like the way Nigerian Afrobeats singers are carrying Black sheriff along

Last time he performed at the 16th headies Award in the US, that is really commendable.
Black sheriff is a talented superstar dt needs every music lovers’ assistance to shine and be heard.

Hopefully ghanians will see him at these shows and come out for his performances when he headlines his own shows. There are plenty ghanians in America. He deserves it for such amazing talent. Kingpromise too.

What part of Yorubaland is blessed do you not understand? grin

Ibadan is a West African pride. Osogbo has the Osun goddess shrine which is a tourist attraction and destination for people from all over the world... each town is significant in its own way.

London is the pride of the English people just as Lagos is the pride of the Yorubas. You don't hear English people from Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester e.t.c crying over that fact. Same way you won't hear people from iragbiji or Ibarapa crying over Lagos.
Please, let them know the Osun Oshogbo sacred grove, home of the Osun goddess, is not a joke and is a UNESCO world heritage site.

After everything, they'll remit to Railway abi FIRS
The Lagos metro is a STATE FUNDED project and all proceeds go to the state funds to repay their debt and re-invest in the state. It’s LIRS dt will manage its revenue taxes.

Nothing is going to the federal. Lagos metro is not a part of the National Railway. The National railway from Iddo to Abeokuta to Ibadan is the one dt remits to federal coffers and taxes managed by FIRS.

So wetin go happen to those old trains when the red rail start?
Okay so i got it now. If you look at the map, theres a grey train line next to the red line. Dts the old line that goes all the way to abeokuta, ibadan and then kaduna. The one Buhari did.
I think the red line uses parts of the old track at those points. So the grey line doesnt stop at lagos stations like the red line. From Iddo, its next stop is agege, then abeokuta and ibadan. But the red line will make stops at lagos stations, then extend to marina and to the airport.

PaulH07:
So wetin go happen to those old trains when. The red rail start?
Im not sure its the same track o, or maybe it was extended, not sure. This is the red line and its tracks are new.

The reason sanwo olu was able to do it fast is because most of its tracks are on the ground. Few routes above ground, so not like the blue line that is mostly above ground.

You can search 'red line' on twitter and see all the videos of the track. It doesnt look like the old one.

Well, if he started the Red line and completed it in 4 years then more respect to Sanwoolu. I campaigned vigorously for Sanwoolu because I trust his capacity compared to that fraud from HELL U PEE.
He's my Governor and I have absolute believe in his capacity, I just didn't think that it's possible to finish such project in such a short time frame.
Eko o ni ba ja.
Yes he started it and has completed all the train station stops along the route, remain small track left.

Are you sure that Sanwoolu started the Red line from scratch? These kinds of projects tend to take years if not decades to complete. He has only been Governor for just 4 years. I seriously doubt 5his claim.
Do you live in Lagos? The red line WAS started by Sanwo Olu. This was one of his campaign brags during the elections. cool

And GRV kept saying all he hears everyday is blue red rail dt doesnt affect Lagosians. GRV with no successful career or serious profession all his life. Olodo oshi. tongue

BusinessBreaking News: Flutterwave Expands Payment Services To India by leanonme82(op): 8:33pm On Sep 08, 2023
Flutterwave, Africa’s payment startup has partnered with the Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India (ICICI), one of India’s largest banks, to provide its payment services to Indian businesses.

The agreement will enable Flutterwave, worth an estimated $3 billion, to expand its remittance product into Asia’s second-biggest economy, said Olugbenga Agboola, co-founder and CEO of the pan-African payments company, who accompanied President Bola Tinubu to India for the G20 summit.

“The Indian expansion for Flutterwave will be the first African company to do this at scale where remittances from India to Africa become seamless and quick,” Agboola said in an interview Friday.

IndusInd Bank has approximately 35 million customers across the country, including individuals, large corporations, and various government entities, according to information on its website,

Since its founding in 2016, Flutterwave has rapidly expanded and now has a presence in about 30 African countries. Agboola has led funding rounds, with one in January last year tripling the company’s valuation to $3 billion.

Based in Lagos and San Francisco, Flutterwave has attracted investments from venture capital firms including Tiger Global Management LLC, and works with companies including Alibaba’s Alipay, Uber Technologies Inc. and Netflix Inc.

Bloomberg reported that the company also secured an agreement with French company Capgemini, an IT service management company it sees as helping strengthen its engineering infrastructure.

“We are a partnership driven organisation. So as we see more bank partners to work with in India, we’ll definitely embrace that,” Agboola said.
