I do not think we would have a fair assessment comparing Benin and Asaba. It is not an apple for apple. Asaba is relatively a new state capital and we should expect to see new city planning and structures which wouldn’t be in Benin. Benin is in the league of Ibadan, Enugu, and Kaduna. These are the regional capitals of Nigeria in the 60s.

It should not come down south? So we thought when coronavirus was first reported in Wuhan, China. The whole world thought it was a Chinese problem. We should take this Kano problem more seriously before it is too late.

You think the problem is leadership? Methink the problem is with the followers. You can’t keep doing the same thing and expect different result. A round peg in a square hole is a misfit. We need what I will call “collective awakening” as a nation to vote right people into office.

It looks like an inscription to you but it is their language. They are proud of their language just as British too. You can imagine how English language willl look like to a native Chinese! Yes they're ruling the world now by proxy i mean going by their external reserve capacity. America is not immune from them too as i speak. The inscription you see on the train is a deliberate attempt to make sure Nigerians working for them did not understand how those things work for the now,such that their nationals working presently wouldn't be repatriated as soon as the project is completed. They do that alot just remain relevant in the life of the project and protect their foreign interests too.

Haba! we shouldn’t always look at thing from ethnic perspectives. Seiyefa is the most senior Director in DSS and the President has acted well in appointing him to act in the interim. Seiyefa is not working for south south but for Nigeria. If he has passed him over for someone else you will be the first to cry foul.

if the government starts serious regulation of the trucking industry, there is every possibility you will be out complaining about their wickedness and how they are taking away peoplé's livelihoods

Who do you think we should blame? We elected the Government to make life easy for all of us and they took oath of office to protect and defend us with all their might! Any business man including the tanker owners will always look for easy ways to make profit at the expense of everybody. It is left for the Government to ensure 100% compliance to regulations! So my friend, all these calamities are as a result of poor governance.

Faith without work will avail us nothing. The solutions to our problems is always within our reach. Hello there, I so much love the ongoing discussion. I will like to affirm that the book of Genesis is a true account of the creation given through the hand of Moses. However, I agree with comments that Genesis is condensed and so leave much questions begging for answers.
