You see brandable domains. Those type of Atom & BrandBucket names if Ur strategy is based on that. No need of Ed. But the time of sale is usually longer..at most 5yrs.

But if u r doing other strategies with faster time of sales you can't do without ED.

Many new domainers including myself go for option one. Cause, introduction begins with option one. If you're lucky u may succeed with early sales to support and build on the strategy else u will have to deal with renewals cause they take longer to sell and call it quits.

Option 2 is something I'm looking at but I'll still come back to option one.

I call it QUALITATIVE & QUANTITATIVE domaining.

One does not require ED the other is highly dependent on Ed.

Trust me if they had the monies they would sub. Even Abu started small. Tony started big, someone that can throw 10K as a newbie, sub of 100 wouldnt be a problem.

For example, last yr I sub GoDaddy academy course. I've bought ebooks from Alexverdea etc. I know how it feels starting from scratch. This year I don't know if I'm able to renew d GoDaddy something but let's see. Many would sub just the financial situation no one intentionally wants to just use freebies. Thank God for the opensource & freebies communities cause if knowledge or tools were all to be made subscription based, I believe there wouldn't be innovation. Look at the issue between openAi and the core founders.

congratulations. You sold a domain via their lander I suppose. Mind sharing more details. As for the tax form, depending on the country you used. Maybe contact support or check under payment settings/billing etc to see if you can see the form.

And the name is back in the market on offer for around half of N242k and might eventually sell for a lot less. Yes as a domainer you might pull off a lucky sale (flukes) it shouldn't alter the real metrics of evaluation. Will the same happen to mortgage/com, almost 99% impossible.
However, English typos that are the correct German or french spelling are worth it.

One can't underestimate being at the right place at the right time & having a large portfolio in this biz.

Ishmaila portfolio is around 3500 if I remember.
Without outbound the STR for such portfolio size is about 4 domains monthly. Then for someone like Ishmaily that is very serious with outbounding that could become 5 to 10 domains monthly. Now he is trying to raise his STR to 30 domains monthly or one daily, which he might already know is easily possible looking at the number of offers he rejects monthly in the past. According to him, for the 30 days challenge he would be accepting offers above $1000 which he normally rejects, so you can understand the game. He is in Tony's league; a big adult

Learner, never overlook "typos" in this domain flipping industry. That was how I found www.Mortage.com (normal spelling "mortgage" in ED some years...as I was making enquiry whether to buy it or not, another domainer bought it and sold it for $242,000. I think that was in 2006 or 2005...I can't really remember the exact year again.

I know getting to a stage of someone like Ish, Mike mannn blah blah MIGHT seem impossible, but I believe if one keep putting in the work, one will surely get their.

I listen to him podcast. Na the same outbound we dey do ooh like this. Just most of him names na CPC based from closeouts and auction. Plus e no dey fear to show him face to prospects. One thing the guy isn't telling people is the number of outbound domains he holds with respect to sales. For me, that's the most important thing. Cause many of him names dey target one user or few users. So you have to have plenty(huge portfolio) & put high price.

As opposed to us that have one domains with 100s of prospects with a small portfolio( say 100) and we put low price (very time consuming). With 10 domains you done reach out to 10000 users in 2-3 weeks on manual outbound as opposed to him with 100 domains he don reach out to like 200 users in 2-3 days... Do the maths!

You have to renew. So you either get it free from the owner or pay a small token and renew afterwards.

The key thing here is not to let it drop. So once you list Afternic Fast Transfer can be activated.

And another trick if you want to dodge 10USD renewals or some registrars like GoDaddy with Draconian prices. You can go on a hunt to look for registrars with transfer promos..like around 8USD or less. For example one new registrar called unstoppable domains( don't know if they support Afternic Fast Transfer)

Let's say d seller instead of allowing the domain to expire and delete, liquidates one for 2USD. Already the Auth code dey ready as e never drop

So you look for registrars offering transfer promos like unstoppable domains for 5usd abi na 8usd. You transfer to them. That's like 10USD spent or less.

Once you list the domain on Afternic, the Afternic Fast Transfer is activated.

The STR of this method, pass the standard STR of brandable domain names ( 1percent) that end users haven't been contacted before.

Do you guy's see what Ish dey do with Outbound. The new outbound Sheriff aka outbound King!

Focus on quality

They do sell. That's another strategy again that works. And the STR is around 50% for the types of names I have been reporting. Geo names that make sense. Just list it on Afternic. Enable Fast Transfer. Set the price to 100 or 150 And watch the magic. Already the former domainers has done all the work by contacting the end users. Some wicked end users or stubborn end users refuse to buy, waiting to drop. Shock them! Your own na to chop food wey done done. More importantly you don't need to outbound.

If you use this method for 20 domains you can sell 7 or more within a year depending on quality.

All about testing! And testing!

Abeg make una dey report una experiments.

I got a lead for one out of the 48 having BIN only lander in the 10K range.

Do all your domains use BIN+LTO+MO including the ones in $19xx, $28xx, $38xx abi na different settings.

For this domain I no dey tell person to do this, that. That's like denying one of experimentations & emergence of new perspectives and methods. So left for you to choose which works best in the end.

Agree 💯. Sometimes na just for security. The way the country just dey. And the way domaining is, even tho a whale is using bots to grab all the good names some do slip out. And even the downside of Geos na if particular end users are bombarded with the same type of name in varying versions of the same name. Other than that, the market is open for anyone to do well.

My method dey utilize Make Offer option well & Daaz do me very strong thing for January which I'm yet to heal. The heart break was too much. Almost 8 sweet leads wasted! Their make offer process is shitty! For those who use their lander how many times Una dey get make offer & convert am.

Other than that Daaz is great. I don't know sha whether they fixed the process.

Quietly switched to DomainEasy & Atom-minimalist. Downside of Atom, dem go ask buyer if he want 'push'.

So depending on your method. If your method na BIN...Landers isn't really a problem.
