Let me quickly drop this here. Taken some breaks but I noticed Yesterday & a day before, don't know of the previous day's, .com dropped earlier on than expected at noon like their was a glitch! Good news for those that don't have money for backorder brouhaha bad news for those that place backorders because the names dropped at variable unexpected times, meaning you have a chance to reg before their bots catches it.

Why, I'm posting it, I don't know if it may continue like this for a few days or if it will reset to a constant time, you can use the window to get names while most of their attention is on .SI

But, not still good news if .com registry continue to do variable dropping times because 'Backorders' will just set their systems to ping 24-7 instead. So in Mavo's voice, no more way for poor people'

Meanwhile, I missed the .SI train, what pained me it was staring right in front of me on X when single words on the drops were available for drop reg and had cash to spare.

We move! More sales to everyone.

Lastly, those on outbounds should seriously checkout Fruits/co they have some serious Landers like I had reteirated in my previous post..I don't know if they are yet to support Nigeria, cause last time I checked(last year), no Nigeria.

Greetings to everyone in the thread. More importantly to boss IK & the older members that have carried the thread on their heads.

How it's going: .....

Transitioned to Inbounds this year at least for now but I might still do outbounds on some names. Some those names in 2025 sold for four figures via outbounds.

Notes:

1. Just know the industry is full of very few sharks that got to the top and burned the bridge...it is what it is. A typical example of Nigeria old money. The remaining things are few crumbs for me and you except you find your way to the very top. Game is rigged!

Explain why some one will own thousands of registrars, bots & servers to catch names. And most of the proceeds they use even the big names today started small too. But for you now, no way! You can't easily snap big names at drop reg lest you go to over priced auction roots.

2. There re very misleading tutorials. And I think it's intentional. Though you get real stuff from this thread if you re good at pattern recognition whether inbound-outbound.

3. Most important skill, pattern recognition.

The Afternic account was a new one created strictly for inbounds. I have my Geo's own separately.

Was a great year in terms of domain names, I have rarely posted here but just wanted to post it here as a thank you to all the nigerian domainers based here as well private groups who helped me become better - no longer part of those groups though.

The key take away I can share is that the ONLY way to hit regular 2K avg in geo domains is to buy a lot, I bought 100+ in a single month at Dynadot during promo.

Hire staff if you have to, outsource lead generation if you have to but you must scale the operations to make this a full-time gig.

One key take away for the 2025 was that Google is increasingly strict, even getting workspace accounts does not help - what helps is regular switching of email accounts - I have hundreds as I used to create unique email for each domain back in 2019. I have also reduced emails sent per day to as follows 50 new/day 50 ff/day even for accounts that are 4+ year old. Would also recommend regularly changing letters, subjects, email accounts, link/no link, $ vs USD and tiny things like that.

Also sharing some sales that I have not shared ANYWHERE as a token of thanks to this community, here's to an amazing 2026.

People don't want to read from page one to get the basics but they can afford to do 5yrs in Uni, 2 yrs Masters, 5years PhD 1 year nysc, 6 years primary school, 6 years secondary school. Yet, something that can change your financial trajectory forever you don't want to commit a year to learn. Some will complain of food, all these years spent on other things where did the food come from. Yet sometimes those other things, still didn't change your finances after all the years.

Instead of looking for shortcut, you can read smartly with dedication..for example read the intro to get the basics...skip to where the sales were hot..I too, didn't read the whole thread, but I read well enough, about 4 months or thereabout consistently before regging a name. Or choose some pros, and follow all their post.

So, can I list on both Sedo and Afternic?

You can list on Spaceship, Sedo, Afternic, Atom.

First set nameservers to spaceship

Launch1.Spaceship. net
Launch2. Spaceship. net

Then, wait small, like 2 minutes. Then list on Spaceship. You will do some small refreshing and small thing..before the name goes life. This ensures you benefit from namecheap distro.

Once live on Spaceship, you can then set nameservers to Sedo:

ns1.sedoparking .com
ns2.sedoparking .com

Wait like 5 minutes, then list the name on Sedo. Then wait and refresh like 3 minutes and see if it's listed. Once it goes live. You can then set your nameservers and lander to any marketplace you want.

Note: while doing all these, you can simultaneously list on Afternic or Atom or Daaz as they don't require their nameservers pointed for domain listing.

Down here, I wouldn't have pick the unlockedRE of a thing. It's just an indication that some of us have a long road of learning to do.

No any long road my brother. Just follow GPexchange tutorial and other ones on the thread. The big problem sef, once you understand it you find out is not knowing what makes a good name but there are already other domainers sitting on it. So the only way u r able to grab a name is if they rest for a day or their budget becomes low if not..u go just dey wait patiently praying for the day they don't show up and if you have money. So it's a game of if they don't show up and if you have money at that instant. Me wey I think say these domainers go go rest this Xmas period, infact na now the competition tight. Yesterday, I couldn't register a name, all were gone! Ahaaaaaa!

My str for outbound is actually 50% before Dan collapsed!

I sold a name I registered Yesterday at Dynadot for 2988 12 months LTO. My fastest inbound sale ever.

If not LTO I go drop.

Them done haccck my account I had to start doing plenty resets and changes Yesterday.

Yours too will come by God's grace, amen..na to follow all those steps & keep grinding.

The year was slow not just because of DAN but because of some lapses on my side. Sometimes to get 100naira sef na wahala.

Average sales for geos have been like 2 to 1 sales at most 3 per month. I had two months with zero sales. Tried to liquidate sef, wahala.

If things are going south don't give up yet just keep going sha. Most of those Twitter White ppl na gibberish dem dey dish out I pity ppl wey no code..just engagement farming..they won't drop d real thing. This sub na for for Arab guy abi na French...

No where like home. Everything u need dey this thread. Whether geo or anything else...any other place you can think of na oyo..just read d thread..it's laid bare open. Facts u can relate to as na fellow 9ja guys.

Last last sha, from my 120 Inbound name, I made 1K sale with another 10K so far. My first 5 figures sale(241 sales so far 5year period). I have about 80 outbound names. One sold just now..I don't see the hype people give Spaceship lander(still buggy) & can't convert like than. Seems Europeans have hacked this domain lander thing..look at Fruits.....co but dey don't yet support Nigeria..

Yes. Even spaceship and other registrars. But they normally ask the seller. And it may take like a week before they ask for push. I pushed a domain at Spaceship to them.

But Dynadot? Have they changed their system now? The last I read years ago was that they credited sales lower than $500 or so to account credit (for purchases).

I'm not sure, but unlikely. Maybe you should ask Todd in his DM at X or their handle. They respond fast.

on dropcatch ,you can't join the auction if you did not backorder the domain name initially,only expired auction and others is open for all. Though I understand the part of buying name.that should be $10 for 600 and above cos of some individuals with big pocket.
