The classes started on 1st of September. The ultimate time to arrive is 15th of September and after that we are going to cancel all the invitations of the applicants who have not arrived. If you have any good reason why you are not able to arrive by 15th of September, please answer this e-mail and we can prolong the arrival date until 30th of September if necessary. All the invitations of the applicants who have not answered this e-mail by 15th of September will be cancelled, no matter what the reason is. Everyone who has got visa must send us the scan of your visa and flight tickets immediately. Please inform us as well if you already know that you are not able to arrive in time and wish to postpone your application for the next admission period.

I will like to find out what documents I will need and the best place to submit an application for success (Lagos or Abuja). Also, if you have any tips which can help, I will be glad to have it.

Filled out and signed South Africa tourist visa application form

Original, signed Nigeria passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.

2 recent 2" x 2" passport-type photos of the applicant, front view, white background. Photos must be taken within the past 6 months.

Itinerary. A confirmed or reservation of the flight itinerary under the traveler's name. Must show flights entering and exiting South Africa.

Yellow Fever Vaccination. A copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for yellow fever.

F
Health Insurance. Proof of health insurance covering international travel.

G
Bank statement. Copy of the applicant's most recent monthly bank statement. The statement must clearly show the applicant's name as the account holder, the balances of the accounts, and the date of the statement.

Hotel Reservations. Copy of hotel reservations (Applicant's name must be on Hotel Reservation).

When ask in Application form if you have made iternary plan? Is the question implied for those who have paid for the flight ticket and for those who have plan their Date of departure and return Date without flight Booking? Or i should leave the question as No.

Your answer should be YES, but u Dont need to buy a flight ticket. You can always get ur flight itinerary to summit at the embassy. You can visit our link to get more details

Said they will call to pick it up in 3weeks now is 2 months plus. Havnt heard from them if you call they tell you when it's ready you will be called upon. Now there numbers at the embassy is not going

Please if they can't give you visa, can't they return your passport, why are they holding it, is it their property? What type of visa did you apply? Was it done by you or an agent?

Its an entry Visa. It wasn't done by agent

Pease if you applied or knowns anyone who applied through India embassy for a VISA and their international passport has been with the India embassy for months. kindly follow @abikedabiri and @bukolasaraki Tweet to them by complaining how India embassy is frustrating Nigerian's over issuing of visa and holding applicants international passport captive for over 2 months without any information or feed back from the embassy. We need to stand up and flight for our rights and put a stop to this.
