it is regulate by China apex bank so it coins can be buy from bank there and unlike bitcoin it value is fixed so you can't be expecting rise and dip like bitcoin, there coin is made to make transaction easier and to bypass dollar for transaction. they will be bringing to Africa they're still experiment it in Europe. it is easy to launch it in their country but it takes time to convince and partner other countries about especially those that want to launch their own digital coin

yes they will have to use dollar to trade with US but not rest of the world, they can trade with Russia with yuan, search it up digitalise yuan it been experiment in different countries in Europe now, it reduce stress of exchange dollar for transaction, this is a coin in your wallet that you can use to pay for goods in China from anywhere in the world. there are about 3country that have digitalise their currency, but am talking about China since it is second largest economy and the trade volume is high. scarcity of dollars won't stop China growth

what HK want is not the matter here, this is about Chinese sovereign, they can't allow HK to be in line with West, it happens to Russian too and it leads to Russian Georgia war in 2008. they do the same to Ukraine and annex Crimea, they threat NATO with their dealing with Belarus, they won't allow them to interfere in their regions, it's about their national interest. you can't have enemy close to your border. they will send soldier there and occupied it and nothing will happen.
