EducationFG: Universities Can Now Organise Post-utme If They Want by legendsilver(op): 7:58am On Aug 17, 2017
What is wrong with this government?
Going front and back

The federal government has given tertiary institutions the go-ahead to conduct Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

Adamu Adamu, the minister of education, made this known in Abuja on Wednesday, The Nation reports.

He said universities, polytechnics and other institutions were free to organise post-UTME screening as a pre-condition to gaining admission into public institutions.

Adamu had last year announced the ban of post-UTME at a combined policy meeting on admissions.

But while announcing a reversal of the ban, he urged the institutions and its authorities to make the fees for the post-UTME screening affordable.

“We are going to allow universities to have some choice. Universities can now decide to organise post-UTME, if they want,” he said.

“We have asked them not to impose huge financial burden on the parents. The burden should not be more than what they can bear.”

Its not my thing, I'm so engrossed in how I use my productive time, I don't have that time to date two people.

When you love a person and you find out you are loving another, leave the first person cos you don't love the person no more.
Dear, it's really a problem. Imagine my ex that got married recently was angry with me for not gracing her wedding, she now chat me up at every opportunity.

I can't double date with single ladies not to talk of married one

I am seriously not understanding how guys and girls double date these days because of the latest unfaithfulness hovering round the world today. Even married couples are not left out not to talk of the young adults.

You wanna know why these kids of today grow really big and tall? Well, its because they eat everything from cooked food to all manner of bottom food.

And can even eat from different species.

FamilyRe: 5 Signs Of A Childish Adult by legendsilver(m): 1:58pm On Jun 29, 2017
Opinionated:
There are two types of ages: the physical and emotional age. A childish aduItis basically a person whose physical age is that of an adult, but whose emotional age is that of a child. Jumia Travel, the leading online travel agency, shares 5 signs of a childish adult.

Looking for Who to Blame

When an aduIthardly takes responsibility for his/her actions, and constantly looks for who to blame, that’s might be a sign of emotional immaturity in an adult. Typically, when things go wrong children look for who to blame, while adults take responsibility and try to figure out how to fix the problem.

Poor Impulse Control

Children tend to be impulsive when they are hurt or mad – they speak recklessly or take impulsive action without pausing to think about the consequences. AduIts that mimic such behavior when reacting to issues show signs of emotional immaturity. AduIts are typically better at self-control and understand themselves enough to calm themselves and resist the impulse to act before they think in a given situation. This is not to say that adults don’t occasional have ‘slips’, but this happen less with an aduItthan a child.

Immature Defense Mechanisms

One primitive defense mechanism is denial: ‘I didn’t say that!’; ‘I never did that!’, when the individual actually said so. These are immature defense mechanisms used by a child to protect himself/herself or escape tight corners. Another primitive defense mechanism, is attacking or being hostile to anyone who says something different or has a different view from yours. AduIts that have such immature defense mechanisms can to a large extent be considered childish adults. They still have a lot of growing up to do in this aspect.

Need to be Center of Attention

This point speaks for itself. It’s safe to say that an aduItwhose priority is to always be the center of attention still has some growing up to do.

Lack of an ‘Observing Ego’

Emotionally mature adults have outbursts, but what’s different about them is that after their outburst, they soon after realize, with their ‘observing ego’, that their outburst was inappropriate. They can see with hindsight and admit that such behavior was against their value system. On the other hand, children have not yet been able to internalize guidelines for respectful behavior and develop a value system. As a result, they don’t have the ability to judge when their actions are out of line and thus blame others. AduIts whose behaviors are in line with this child like response can be considered childish adults.

PoliticsRe: Quit Notice Against Igbos Is Real And Stands, Ex-presidential Aid, Okupe Warns by legendsilver(m): 6:09am On Jun 29, 2017
Youngadvocate:
Ex-presidential aide to former President, Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe has warned umu Igbo in the north and the Nigerian government that the quit notice issued to ndi Igbo in the on Igbos by Northern youths is real and still stands despite the lengthy reconciliatory moves and meetings advanced by the acting president, Prof Yemi Osibanjo.

Okupe who issued the warning via a Facebook post entitle “Where does Nigeria go from here?,” stated that it is only God and government can save Nigeria now.

He owrds, “I personally believe that, no matter what we hear officially delivered to Aso rock, the October quit notice for the Igbos resident in the north is REAL, live and will subsist.

“Anything contrary to this is grand deception and delusionary.

“The inevitable conclusion therefore, looking carefully at the scenarios and strong positioning of the Nationalities above, is that only God and government can save the country now.

“I hasten to add, at this juncture, that it is a grand fallacy that because the Ag. President has sworn to an oath to defend the Nigerian constitution, and the fact that Biafra is not in the constitution, it is unlawful for the Ag President to interface with those who have expressed a desire to quit the union.”

RomanceRe: Ladies, Know The Type Of Work A Guy Does Before Agreeing To Be His Girlfriend by legendsilver(m): 5:48am On Jun 28, 2017
fastgyal:
I'm writing this from my own personal experience. Dear girls, don't just fall 'head over heels' for a guy without knowing the nature of his job or any of his close relatives.

There's this guy who's been inviting me over for quite sometime, we met at an event and exchanged contacts. I did that because he assisted me with something at that event. He calls me for about an hour or two every night. That was early this year.

When I asked about his nature of job, he said he was a contractor, he couldn't tell me which firm he works with. He stays at home 24/7 from Monday through Friday, weekends inclusive.

I finally agreed to go out with him sometime in February. This guy owns a Bentley and a Range Rover. Each time I try to bring up the issue of his job, he waives it off. The way he spent money on me and my friend that day was lavish and suspicious. I wasn't comfortable at all. He paid for my Uber ride to and fro. Spent about 80K at the exquisite restaurant just for food and drinks. We were three;Him, my friend And I. He uses two iPhones, one infinix hot4 and a smaller phone. I felt so much discomfort with him that day. Thank God my spirit never accepted him. that evening, he had a minor issue with his friend. I was listening to their conversation and I found out my guess was right. I had to cut up all ties with him after that day. abeg I can't be spending money whose source I know nothing about.

The second was a guy I loved, I won't lie. I met him at the mall and there was this kind of attraction. We flowed freely, got talking and all that. I won't say everything I witnessed at his place for personal reasons. I asked what he's been doing since he graduated, he said business. What kind of business? He replied; 'online business'

The day I visited him, his friends came over and for more than one hr, they were glued to their laptops, doing 'heaven knows what' and making calls to dupe victims. I also saw about 7 master keys for cars. I had no access to his FB account then. only whatsapp and IG.

When I checked his pictures on FB, I was trembling with all the things I saw. he's in a gang, probably a cult. Always wearing shirts with that devilish logo of a skull printed in it. Wearing all Black and all that.

And girls, please don't open your legs for any guy you've just met until you're very sure he's clean. I really loved this last one but although its hard to let go, I just have to.
I'm not saying I'm a virgin, but I just don't open my legs for any one because he throws money at my face whatsoever. I'm being very plain here so girls can learn.

Let this get to front page please mods.
God bless your generation for this dear
Some girls will boldly say my guy is a YY boy, imagine that?
