Hi guys! Congratulations to all those who made the first stage, e no easy. And to all those who are yet to be contacted for the 2nd stage, I pray u r contacted soonest. Based on my experience wit d recruitment process so far, am willing to ansa wateva question or questions u may hav to ask. Got to the office with much work waiting for me.

The interview was both about your technical competence for the roll and personality questions.

We were nine that were invited, i was the second to be interviewed.

We were all interview for the same position - planimetering and gas volumetric accounting.

they said that we would hear from them in two weeks time and the job is likely to start in december.

there was no trick o, i jus answered d questions as fast as i could but am pretty sure i used a fraction above one hour. But i think dey laid more emphasis on d behavioral part.

Dfavouredone: Brother i was really waiting for you to comment - seeing u were able to predict the shortlisting for this week; which turn out to be correct: you must have some kind of inside info.

But first thing first; did you write the test and were u short for the online assessment centre.

I havent done mine yet anyway, hoping to do it tomoro.

This test is different from the Graduate Trainee test carry out in Lagos

I was amongst the 2nd and last batch that wrote the production test in warri. I got an invite for the online assessment test today with a follow up mail that says the link to the online assessment test expires after 3 days of receipt so endeavor to do yours on/before tomorrow. I'm still mustering courage to tackle mine.

jodeci: Over 160 people wrote that test and i dont believe only few of us were successful (less than 20-going by the congratulatory mail sent).I hv a feeling it will be in batches.

Any news from those that did their test yestday in warri and in lagos(as hinted by vinny101)? How did your tests go?

While we continue to pray that as many ppl as possble would be sent GT test invites, who knows if Seplat conducts a skills test, an Assessment centre or an interview as its 2nd stage in the recruitment.

Only God knows when that 2nd stage would be self.

I applied for GT but d test we wrote yesterday in Warri was called 'production test'. I guess its for those wit experience cos the first 20 questions were not funny at all especially for people like me wit no industry experience.
Seplat's recruitment is usually in 3 stages. those who pass the aptitude test and d oral interview will then be invited for the final and last stage which is the assessment centre.

the test had four sections. quantitative, verbal, logic and current affairs.

I have no idea man. I saw the invite this morning, am not even prepared for it. I'm currently in PH, I don't know how far warri is from PH. Can someone pls gimme a brief summary of how d test in Lagos was?

Well for what it's worth I saw Chemical and Petroleum Engineers, Geologists, Economists and a Physicist. I said a "Physicist" because I knew her. They could have been more. And this is coming from me that one can easily mistake for reticent.

I don't know what their criteria was for shortlisting folks but from what I saw today I doubt that there would be another batch.

Just thought to help put things into perspective.
