Okay it's like this, I don't do that Christian, Muslim, Igbo, Hausa, Pdp, Apc Garbage... I am a grown up man that knows the difference between Right and Wrong... Traveled the world widely, Love Humans deeply regardless of Race, Color, Tribe or Location. I am a 100% Naija, also 100% European citizen and 100% World Citizen so I don't see things from the View point of others. I was here during the Bosnia War about 25yrs ago or so and I watched Live footage from CNN, I saw some of the Refugees here where I reside and interacted with a lot of them... I have watched "Platoon" "Saving Private Ryan" "Longest Day" and have so many collections of War movies and one thing I can tell you is this.. It is very easy to start a War but difficult to end and also nobody knows when or how it will end. I watched the Iraqis celebrating when they took out Saddam, but today Saddam's Iraq is like Heaven compared to the Present day Iraq.. The elite NAVY SEALS of the United State's are the best fighting Force ever known to man and yet they will Tell you War is not good. No Matured or Sane person Talks about War so Easily except Kids that knows nothing about the Realities of War. Many people in My second Country here still think there is a Country called BIAFRA with Improvised Kids starvig and dying of hunger, you know why? Because they use to send Money and Relief to BIAFRA and I have to tell them, that BIAFRA is part of my Country and their Mouth drops open...so I advice you to use Youtube and watch some Live Footage of the Horrors of War. You see when Japan was hitting its Chest believing the United States was Child's play they came in and Destroyed Peal Harbor even as they prepare for War to finish the U.S. but what happened? The U.S. dropped atomic Bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and that was the end and till date you cant grow food there... I hope you grasp a picture now of what I am about. I will support an Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa Man against my Tribes man if he is in the right because am not blinded my Sentiments or Tribal Craze.. I have been seriously embittered by the showmanship of these groups, but for a C-in-C to have cowered, either because he wants peace or love his life or doesn't want to put the life of his guards in danger is totally unacceptable!

Was it not reported that 50 soldiers drowned while in the trail of these saboteurs? was it not also reported that some soldiers on routine patrol were gunned down by those same militants? So what's it about leading from the front? You expect someone else's child to die securing the country when you are unwilling to stand up to a group of untrained 'generals'. And such a person would have the conscience to approve death sentences for mutinous soldiers.

I truly don't care if it makes me/us come across as unintelligent, the President should have gone in the light of the threats to his safety - whether real or bluff just to pass a strong message. ...and should there be incidences, that area should be leveled.

I would reiterate: the President fall my hands well well.

And you obviously didn't Read everything and if you did you probably didn't understand what you read so lemme break it for you. The world is now a global village thanks to technology, Fact! And Nigeria is a part of this global Village, Fact! Nigeria also parades a good number of smart, educated and intelligent people, Fact! So how come a people with such a resume would allow themselves to be reduced to an uneducated and an unintelligent bunch simple because of Hate, Politics and Tribal sentiments that they are currently a laughing stock to the rest of the world? The hottest Nigerian news that is currently Trending today is “President Buhari is a Coward for not going to Ogoni Land” “President Buhari is a Chicken that is scared of Dying” And the entire world falls apart laughing at this myopic way of reasoning even as they ask the inevitable “We thought these people are actually intelligent”?

Buhari is no longer an ordinary person but rather an Office! When there is an intelligence report that his safety cannot be guaranteed at any place, he must listen and cannot force his way through otherwise he will be putting the OFFICE at risk! He will be putting the jobs of the security operatives at risk! The number one Job of the security operatives in charge of guarding and protecting the President is not just to protect him against harm no! The number one Job is to make sure he doesn’t come to harm in the first place! That is how it is all over the world, but to some Nigerians it must be different when it comes to their President. They see it from the viewpoint of “President Buhari and the Niger Delta Avengers must fight let’s see who is stronger” And when President Buhari did not show up, they declared the Niger Delta Avengers winners. This might have been okay if it was only coming from some uneducated teenagers, but grow ups, professionals, even people in the public eyes joined this childishness and celebrates that their President is a Chicken all because of political party, tribal sentiments and religious affiliations.

Sadly this childishness has caused a blockade in some that they fail to see the real Danger here that was cleverly averted by the President and his security team. If President Buhari ignores the advice of his security details, went ahead and was Killed or even wounded, here is what may happen. The Nigeria Military would have Unleashed it’s full Military Might and probably Wiped the entire place out of Nigeria’s Map. They might have employed ten times the force they are using on Boko Haram. The Military might even seize power temporarily and no, the international community will not step in as they are weary of Nigeria’s internal problems. Before anyone say it’s not possible, please think of what Olusegun Obasanjo did to Odi just because they Killed 5 Soldiers. He wiped out the entire place including the chickens, Goats and nothing happened! Till date nobody questioned him! That is the story behind Timaya’s hit song “Dem Mama” He had to document that piece of history in a Song for generations unborn.

Whether you like or hate Buhari as a person or not, you must never transfer that to the Office of the President of Nigeria. President Buhari made history today by becoming the very first Nigerian President to start the Cleanup of Lands badly damaged by Oil spills which affects the daily lives of the ordinary people, and instead of Nigerians to Commend and Celebrate this achievement (which doesn’t necessarily mean you should celebrate the President if you don’t like him personally) so that the entire world will notice the Cleanup work, instead they are celebrating unintelligent rubbish that is making the world wonder. Thank heavens for the many that are raising their voices to kill this childishness and stop the shame these people are spreading all over the world with their outburst!

Even as some websites and blogs are publishing what many Edo Youths calls an Insult to the Royal Throne, the man in charge of Social Media for the Edo State government Mr Victor Oshioke, released a press statement stating that the Edo State government has approved the appointment of the Crown Prince of Benin, as the Oba of Benin. This resulted in a Hot debate and exchange on Social Media as many Vibrant Edo Youths would not have it, regardless of whether Mr Oshioke quotes a section of the law in his Press release or not. What many youths are saying is “Do not Insult our Royal Throne with that Jagon” No matter what your take on this issue is, one thing you must admire about the Edos including the Youths, is their deep Love and Respect for their traditional rulers of which the most revered and respected Oba of benin is the Highest. As a young lad I remember vividly when I first heard of Kamikaze, I had to ask what it means, and was told it is ‘Suicide Attack” Back then I wrote it off as a bad and evil dream as such a thing can never happen in Nigeria, because Nigerians Love Life way too much to ever consider Suicide attack. Well you can imagine my shock when I first heard of Boko Haram blowing up themselves and innocent people in Suicide Bomb Attacks.

Again when I heard of Men Killing their wives in the Western world, I was convinced that such wickedness will never find it’s place in Nigeria. Yes husbands and wives quarrel sometimes but before you know it they are back together. So it was a rude Shock when News started filtering in once in a while of Nigerian men killing their wives in Nigeria! It is one of those things that you still don’t want to believe because it makes no sense whatsoever that a Nigerian man will actually Kill his own wife. The recent News of Ronke Lekan Shonde, the lady who was reportedly killed by her husband who also ran away from the crime scene, leaving her with their two kids was very shocking and you begin to wonder where this is all coming from?

With all our Proudness of being Africans, of being Religious, of being family oriented, how then did we come to this sorrowful state where a man would beat his own wife and Kill her? Where did this Idea come from that once you Marry a Woman she suddenly becomes your property? A wife is supposed to be your friend, your partner, your Koko di Koko, but never your punching bag or property! This Madness usually starts with a Fight, where the man beats the woman, and the Domestic Violence eventually leads to men killing their own wives. If you are tired of a woman or relationship why don’t you just leave her for her family, why must you Beat her in the first place?

Let me state it right here “There is nothing a woman might do to you that warrants Beating!” Whether she Cheats on you and Sleeps with another man, or Insults you in public, or insults your Mother, or she took all your money, you have different options of dealing with this and BEATING is not one of them. You do not have any RIGHT under God, under the Nigerian Constitution or under African tradition to BEAT your Wife. It is Evil! It is Wicked! It is Satanic! A man that Beats his wife is still not matured enough to be with a woman or even get Married in the first place! If you are tired of a woman or the relationship, please Leave! Stop Beating and Killing our Women! And to the women out there, don’t you ever allow a man Beat you, because that is how it starts! It is from Beating they graduate to Killing. Yes you can say it can never happen to you, and I am sure Ronke Lekan Shonde also said the same thing but today she is dead. Finally the Nigerian government should make Domestic Violence a very serious Crime that attracts a heavy Jail sentence! I repeat instead of Beating a woman, just leave the relationship. May the Soul of Ronke Lekan Shonde rest in Peace. Amen! I pray her husband is caught and face the full wrath of the law.

On the 4th of may 2016, the President and commander in Chief of the Federal republic of Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari received G-19 Group of APC Party Leaders at the Statehouse. As usual before the meeting kicks off the President went round greeting the Members of G-19 Group, those in attendance includes the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker of House of Representative Yakubu Dogara and Senate Majority Leader Senator Ali Ndume. On one of the photos of the event, you see the Senate President Looking like somebody that is very scared, but on the second photo he Bowed his Head low greeting the President. In the Evening, nearly everywhere is like a Romantic Garden.... It is truly Beautiful... Because of the Very HOT whether in the summer, a lot of Rented apartments have their own Swimming Pool.... Picture some Beautiful Hotels with Pools in Naija?... That could be apartment where different people leave so when you are Hot, you just come out and swim.... London is probably the Dirtiest City in Europe (I stand to be corrected sha!) But the Jobs there pay a lot better than Spain which is so Beautiful with Lovely Houses but the Economy cant smell UK.. lol

These are my perspectives:

I managed Majek Fashek for about five years when his album was released under my label. He was married to Rita Fashek for over twenty-five years.

In all those years, she saw him rise to the top of his career ( and supported him), she saw him (against her wishes) fall under the bad influence of drugs and alcoholism. She stayed with him all these years.

In all her interviews, she NEVER opened her mouth to say she caught Majek sniffing cocaine or saw him taking drugs. She only pleaded for help but refused to destroy the man she loved and married with her words. It was only Majek himself who came out to say “Help me! I’m on drugs” and people rallied round him.

Now, that is not to say that Majek himself couldn’t have gone public too to say nasty things about his wife, if he had anything to say but as ‘crazy’ as he was perceived, he knew too where to draw the line and kept his home troubles to his heart and family. Is any couple out there getting my drift so far?

Old school love. Old school values. Na where dey pain person dem dey put for near fire, says an old school adage.

Old school love keeps it private. Our shit is between us as a couple and we will sort it out or walk out of it quietly without any noise. That’s why we took the vows.

In Bini Language, there’s a word we use which means ‘spoilt’ or rotten. It’s called ‘sankanwen’ or ‘sakan’ ( I hope I got the spelling right. My Bini people forgive me o.)

A lot of these young people; young couples today? They just ‘sankan’ to the max.

Young men out there in this clime all lazy and sometimes stupid. Opportunists in emotional matters. Young ladies out there as worse as the young fellows most times and adding indigestible values to their daily mantra. They meet and their ‘sankanmwen’ find a nexus of foibles.

Things will fall apart.

Wa sankan gbe! Wa hia gbe ho!

For the avoidance of doubt, I don’t ask any lady in an abusive relationship to stay put. If your husband touches you with a heavy hand, you should leave. If you too slap your husband around too, he too should leave. Spousal abuse and violence is unacceptable.

But when there are children from the union, when pikin don enter, be very circumspectiive about what you say outside about your failed marriage and why you left him or why she left you.

I read a lot of ‘sankanwen’ on social media especially by ladies who are either divorced or separated. And I just shake my head.

Anyway, back to my crux.

Old school love or marriages were something else. When I was growing up, I saw some of my uncles drive their only wives out of the matrimonial homes. But years later, as time went by, they reunited with those wives and settled with them till they died. I’m not talking about plural marriages here. I mean, an Uncle with a wife and he would drive her away or send her packing or she would wake up and leave. But years later, they would both come back together.It baffled me. But it taught me something. There are values in a marriage which the couple never forget.

I had to ask one of my uncles some years ago why he called back his wife after years of separation.

‘My son, despite our wrongs to each other, she was the wife of my youth. She was the love I ever knew, who knew me inside out and though we fought and she was a hothead as I was, she bore me beautiful kids. She propped up my life. Why would I grow old and she too grows old without us coming back together to die as one? My son, fights don’t last. Love and understanding do last’

As the race for Edo 2016 heats up and all the different players brace themselves up for what could best be described as intriguing and ambitious, you see so many unusual scenarios playing out. There is no better person that is an embodiment of these two traits of “Intrigue and Ambitious” than Dr Pius Odubu, the current deputy governor of Edo State. He is a man that is ready to make history, but the type of history will largely depend on the outcome of the upcoming elections. Presently, Dr Pius Odubu is on what could best be described as a man on a War Path with his own Boss Comrade Adams Oshimohole, and naturally it should not be so, because like everyone else Dr Pius Odubu has every Right to contest the governorship elections but unfortunately his boss doesn’t think so and is not endorsing his candidacy. This in itself has set the stage for a Showdown between Comrade Oshiomhole and Dr Pius Odubu making you ask this vital question, Which one of them is more popular? Which of them has the funds? For Pius Odubu to clinch the Ticket of his party he needs the support of his boss Adams Oshiomhole which he is not getting as his boss has already endorsed Godwin Obaseki the chairman of his economic team, and will use everything at his disposal to make sure his candidate win. Already we have seen Dr Odubu defending himself of not trying to hurt the Governor with Voodoo, according to reports he is even ready to swear at a Shrine that he is Loyal and did not try to hurt his boss. This in itself is rather puzzling as both the governor and people watching this unfolding drama may be of the opinion that the only way you can prove or show your loyalty to your boss is to stand with him at a very crucial time and not publicly oppose him because of your own Ambition. Ordinarily on it’s own, Ambition can be a very good trait as man went to the Moon because of Ambition, but a man called Adolf Hitler also wanted to rule the entire world because of this same Ambition.

Putting all these together you may come to the conclusion that Dr Pius Odubu has not really thought this thing through, and he is allowing Ambition rather than common sense and reality on the ground guide him. Also Dr Odubu might also be listening to the Voices of those pushing him on, rather he should listen to the voice of reason and learn from History. He should learn from Atiku Abubakar and Dr Goodluck Jonathan. Ex President Obsanjo did not want his vice, Atiku to succeed him and it didn’t happen, even when he could easily beat Goodluck Jonathan at the primaries Ex President Obasanjo did not let that happen. Today Atiku still nursed the Idea of becoming Nigeria’s President someday and has gone to pay homage to Obasanjo several times and it seems they are good friends again, but whenever the time comes Obasanjo would still step in and prevent him from becoming the President because he just doesn’t trust him. Same with Dr Goodluck Jonathan, he ran the most expensive political Campaign in the history of Nigeria to the extent of hundreds of millions was even budgeted for prayers but at the end he lost because the person (Obsanjo) who handed over to his own boss (Yaradua) did not support him, and all the people telling him they would move mountains for him didn’t do anything! Even his own vice didn’t do anything, they all betrayed Dr Goodluck Jonathan and this is the faith that might await Dr Pius Odubu no matter how you look at it. The best card for Dr Pius Odubu is to support his Boss and at the end both of them would eventually move up to federal level because the signs are there that President Buhari would need Comrade Oshiomhole. This article is in no way a discouragement to the political ambition of Dr Pius Odubu, but rather an analysis of how Edo 2016 might play out, and it is my hope that somebody may draw the attention of Dr Pius Odubu to this article, because if he went ahead to clash with his boss and lost out, it may lead to the end of their political friendship

Mercy Johnson got married and is currently a mother of three kids, but that is not the end of this story, because her husband Prince Odi Okojie is now into politics and from all indication he is planning to run alongside one of PDP flag bearers Pastor Ize-Iyamu, as his Deputy.

If this becomes a reality and Pastor Ize-Iyamu actually wins, then it makes a lot of sense to assume Prince Odi Okojie would run for the governor of Edo State in 8yrs time and if he wins, then Mercy Johnson from a very humble beginning will be the first lady of Edo State. Some people reading this might conclude that this is nothing but wishful thinking, but that is also the story of Mercy Jonson if you actually know where she is coming from. As long as there is life, and a strong belief in what you are doing your dreams are possible. jokes apart, i was so sad when i heard that the CBN did recruitment without publishing it. They went as far as defending the recruitment process which was illegal. does it mean that those apc e-rats are not worthy to work in CBN? sensing that there would be an outcry, they quickly connived with the Inspector General of police(his daughter name was on the CBN list) to make public police recruitment application. sometimes i pity those apc jobless e-rats that come online to hail these people, they gave their children slots meant for them(apc e-rats) and give you police slots to go and die. look at the number of jobless youths that applied, and i assure you when connections begin to flow, only 1,000 slots would be left for the e-rats to fight for, open your eyes and don't be deceived.

The hardship on Nigerians in the past three weeks cannot be quantified. Everywhere you go, the people are not happy and rightly so. The long hours queuing all through the day at fuel service stations make one irate already. To then add more salt to injury, darkness greets you at night when you return home, the heat already causing rashes all over the children’s body, such type of rashes that defies Johnson’s baby powder(well maybe it’s not even the original one purchased, in Nigeria, nothing is impossible).The past government would still continue to take a blame because of its neglect to everything infrastructure in the country. The money accrued in the last 16 years within our budget is enough to build us 5 new largest refineries in the world. The excess that no one is yet to account for would build 10 more refineries. But nothing at all was built, the 4 working refineries it met on ground in 1999 all collapsed to satisfy selfish interests.

However, despite the foolishness of the 16 wasteful democratic years of the past, it was not a template of an excuse for the pain the people experienced under the APC. The people voted the APC in to make things right. There is a failure already on the parts of the government via its media team to share it’s plan with the people. Talk to us, tell us what the problems are, what solutions you have put or is putting in place to checkmate the unfortunate crises in the short, medium and long term. The crises was an opportunity for the president(who also doubles as petroleum minister) to address the nation. It would have been an avenue to plead to us all(those of us that would understand and those that would refuse to understand) about the problems at hand, and the solutions to solve it once and for all. The people needed a reassurance, they needed a direction from above. So many who believed Nigeria is on the right path would renew their hope if only they heard from above. Sadly, the entire media team including Mr president failed yet again on this important parameter.


In the midst of the madness inflicted by the hardship, my team and I would like to commend three fuel service stations who resisted the Nigerian factor during the crises which thankfully with the distribution ongoing around the nation would end the pain/queues before the weekend. Those three service stations are
(1) BOVAS PETROLEUM
(2) PETROCAM OIL & GAS
(3) ETERNAL OIL.
In the madness of the increase and greedy gains that most Nigerians want to capitalize upon, the aforementioned service stations never increased their pump price from #86.50.

The government need to find out the model adopted by these patriotic companies, especially Bovas who stood firm and eliminated the crowd factor by refusing to sell into kegs. We should ask why and how they were able to maintain that discipline up till this very moment. If at all something is clear to the discerning mind, it already shows that the government can and should go ahead to fully deregulate the oil sector.

I personally carried out a survey, speaking directly to many Nigerians that I don’t know across several fuel stations. The anger in some people would make you dare not whisper(for real whisper not even scream) ‘Sai Baba’. You just have that feeling that if you are alive to tell the story, it would be a disfigured you with POP telling it from the hospital bed. Only few understand the root cause, only few. Many blame the present government even when they say that they voted for change. To some funny historically amnesia Nigerians, this was the first time they would queue for hours at the fuel station, it never (according to them)happened like it is now during their favorite administration. I only corrected gently with facts as many as I could(I didn’t raise my voice one bit correcting ooo, before they divert the visible anger towards me..yes the anger was visible, you could see the Redman in the eyes of the people).


The junior minister(who truly must be commended for the many wonders he is performing despite the quantum of challenges inherited) must ensure that true to his words, such break down once it fully disappears never reoccur again. Nigerians don’t want to know the WHO, HOW, WHY or WHAT caused, they only want to know ‘WHERE’. Where they can buy fuel without hassles. This government must double or triple it’s efforts to ensure that it’s plans are communicated and solutions are provided to prevent future re-occurrence that shall make everyone ask ‘Buhari, where is the fuel?’. It is the responsibility of the government to provide answers to that question. We see your efforts Mr president, but your people want no excuse, no stories, they want results. I strongly believe you would deliver.

May the president succeed in his genuine quest to better the lives of all Nigerians.
