You have to try your very best to be in charge of your own emotions as you gaze upon these pics even as you ask yourself, why would a man old enough to her father or maybe grandfather Bow his head so low to greet and give a handshake?

Mrs Lara Oshiomhole is not Royalty or queen of any Nation on earth, she is simply the wife of the executive Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and also first lady to the State. In view of her position, you can greet her with a hand shake and a little bow as a sign of courtesy, with your eyes still meeting hers. A very little bow or nod of the head to follow the handshake. On this particular photograph you see the man bowing to the extent of not even seeing her face. This type of greetings are only reserved for a King or Queen, the Oba or his wife, or an Emperor.

You cannot greet a Governor, a President or head of State of any Nation like this, so it brings us to the question of why people would anyone go to the extreme of greeting like this?. This simple answer is “Eye Service” They want to be Liked, they want to be Favored…. their jobs or positions is never enough for them, and they want something extra. Just like Governor Wike of Rivers State, who was almost worshiping the former first lady Patience Jonathan and calling her his Jesus! That is exactly what you are seeing on this photo, if Lara Oshiomhole was just an ordinary lady this man would only look at her as he looks at any other beautiful lady and Nigerians should be very weiry of such people especially if they are in public office.

Sadly, this photo might draw some backlash against Mrs Lara Oshiomhole if only to get at her husband, even when she has absolutely nothing to do with it. You can also begin to imagine what might be going through the mind of Lara Oshiomhole who has been described by so many as a very nice lady that has blended with the people of her new home of Edo State. She too might be wondering why the man is doing this as if to say “Please stand up, you do not have to do this, a simple handshake is good enough”

This is a beautiful story of two Nigerian Military Generals that you are going to enjoy reading. According to www.punchng.com who filed this report, Brig.-Gen. Clifford Wanda and Brig.-Gen. Cecelia Akagu are arguably the only couple to become generals in the Nigerian Army.

When and how did you join the Nigerian Army?

Wanda: I started my military career as a Boy Soldier in the Nigerian Military School in 1974. That was my entrance into the army. After graduating from the military school, I proceeded to the university where I read medicine. After graduation, I was then commissioned into the Nigerian Army in 1986 as a Lieutenant medical doctor.

Akagu: I didn’t know much about the army until 1984 when I went to Makurdi, Benue State. I went out with my uncle and I saw some people running. I asked my uncle what they were doing and he said ‘they are people who want to join the military.’ I picked what my uncle said and went away. During the next intake, I went there. I had a friend called Stella, a Calabar lady. She came to me and said ‘Cecelia, how do you feel being called retired Colonel Cecelia?’ That was how we went for the form and I went for the recruitment (exercise). During the recruitment, they were not too sure of my name. I used to be very skinny and slim but when they assessed me, they knew that I was fit for the job. When they were doing the selection, they picked a lady and said, if she was not picked (shortlisted), I would be the second person to be picked. When I got to the camp, they asked if I was Monica, I said no. They said, ‘Thank God. We didn’t want to make a mistake. We wanted you to be among the girls to be picked.’ That was how I started the journey.

Of all the professions available to you, why did you choose to become a military officer?

Wanda: I have always loved the army because I first came in contact with the army through my foster dad who was a soldier; I lived with him and grew up with him. That was the beginning of my love for the army. Again, I went to a primary school that was in the barracks – a military primary school in Enugu. From my father and having lived in the barracks for long, I took up the interest. In fact, I was so much in love with the military that before I took my First School Leaving Certificate, I insisted that I must go to military school. I was not going to take any examination other than a military school examination, which I did and passed. I proceeded to military school in 1974. It would interest you to know that when he (foster father) bought the forms from the military school, I was so small then that they refused to give him the forms. They requested that if I was interested in the army, I should raise up my hand. I raised my hand but they said I was too small. But when there was no other person to take the forms, they gave it to me, which I filled. I took the examination that year and I made it to the military school. Such was the love I have for the army.

How did your parents and those around you feel when you insisted on following your military passion?

Wanda: My foster dad, who I grew up with was already in the army. He loved it and even though my siblings didn’t want me to go to military school and join the army, that was what I loved they were saying, ‘you can die, you can be injured.’ For me, it was like an adventure. It was something I loved. I grew up in the barracks, I saw the way soldiers did their things – the military gear, the discipline, and everything associated with the military. I could not be discouraged.

I am baffled with the amount of hate we Nigerians have towards each other. It takes me back to the ALUU4 incident. As soon as the pics leaked online, just before the kids were set ablaze, I said, Are these people sure these guys are guilty? Most at the scene never cared, cheered as they tortured them but at the end, the boys were not thieves.

Sorry to bring up a sensitive case like that but it shows the mindset of a lot of Nigerians.

Many are not ready to give someone the benefit of doubt. What will it cost some journalist to contact the doctor that attended to her. What will it cost for a journalist to seat with this witness and hear him.

People are even angry that Charles Novia is investigating if Ibinabo is innocent. What will give them joy is to see Ibinabo in pains whether she is guilty or not.

Yes it is indeed scary the type of Hate some of us have towards each other... Now look at the person arguing with you, as if he or she is 100 percent sure .... As news hits the Social Media that Nollywood's Ibinabo Fiberesima lost her appeal and was sent to Jail, it's only a matter of time before the general public starts weighing in on the matter. As usual with people commenting about issues concerning Celebrities that they have very little or no fact about, they usually hit straight at the Celebrity with Negative comments. Not one to allow his mother become the center of negative gossip in a very difficult time for his family, Sean the First child of Ibanabo Fiberesima has come to the rescue of his mother as he gave an insight to what really went down. This is Sean, first and proud son of Ibinabo Fiberesima, I write on here today to plead with all Nigerians to pray for my mother. She is going through the toughest of times right now, and so are we, her family. I’ve been reading heartbreaking comments on her matter that ‘she thinks she’s above the law’, ‘she doesn’t feel sorry for the family of the deceased’, ‘she was drunk and deserves this punishment’, let me get a few things straight with you now.

My mother is the most humble woman I know, I was not aware she was a celebrity until I was about 14 and that’s only because my uncle told me, she does not see herself or act as if she is above any other person. She is a proud Nigerian who loves her country and its people.

Secondly, she has been carrying heartbreak around with her for the past 11 years after the accident. She understands the pain for the deceased family and is very hurt about what happened herself. She has tried her utter most to console with the Family, so don’t ever think she does not care.

Thirdly she was not drunk, the charges are reckless and dangerous driving, first of all I refuse to believe my mother was driving recklessly or dangerous, as I’ve been in a car with her countless times and nothing has happened. On this occasion it was unfortunate, she was unlucky, her car flipped over which happens to a number of cars and another car smashed into her. She was in a comma for days, she could have easily lost her life, but thankfully, by Gods strength only she survived. She did not set out that day trying to kill someone or herself.

Right now my mother is broken, and needs the prayer and support of all Nigerians, so please put all your conspiracies about this matter aside, I know it’s between her and God now.

Join us, myself, Craig her son who is 14, Malcolm and Brian her other sons and her beautiful Daughter Zino who is just 8, and the rest of her family, to pray for her.

After so many years of this case going back and forth, it finally came to an end with the Judge rejecting Ibinabo Fiberesima’s appeal and sending her to Jail. For those that did not follow the original story, About 11 years ago, Mrs Ibinabo Fiberesima had a car accident and the occupant of the other Car a Medical Doctor ,died from the accident. The family took Ibinabo to Court and she spent a little time in Jail and was released! The family obviously angered by this sought redress in court as they felt it was a Slap on their face since the Medical Doctor who was the Bread winner of his family was killed in the Accident. The Case which has been playing back and forth like a bad movie finally came to an end with the Judge rejecting Ibinabo’s appeal and ruling in favor of the family by sending her straight to jail. This sends shock-waves throughout the Nigerian movie Industry and among friends and colleagues of Ibinabo Fiberesima, and as people discuss and debate this news, Nollywood Producer and Social Critic Mr Charles Novia put’s out a very strong and well balanced write up via his Facebook page which he captioned ‘A Thought For Ibinabo” See below

Ibinabo lost her appeal yesterday at the courts and was immediately sent to jail.

It was the culmination of an ordeal both she and the family of the late Doctor have gone through for ten years.

I am not going to say anyone was wrong nor would I say anyone was right. We must all realise that there are powerful emotional interests in this case on both sides and each would have merit when analysed.

A family breadwinner gone. Another family breadwinner sent to do the time as recompense.

We all must learn from this; the Law is sacrosanct. The Law is real.

On a personal level, Ibinabo is my friend. She's been a wonderful friend to me for over fifteen years and I suppose she has touched the lives too of some who know her personally. I can only express angst that she's in jail and stand with her during her ordeal as a show of motivation and encouragement. She needs that outstretched hand to survive the ordeal. And that's what a friend should do. A friend shares in your pains and stands by you. And there are many in the entertainment industry who are doing same for Ibinabo.

Not because we are angry with the judgement. Oh no. We respect the law. We all live in a society bound by the laws. We bow to the law and believe in the processes which are legally open to her to seek some form of clemency.

But we are a family in Nollywood; despite open spats. The bond artistes share is more than bloodlines. And for that, we must stand and share with our friend.

Once again, I commiserate with the family of the late Doctor and add to the prayers that God give them great fortitude to bear the loss of their loving breadwinner.

I believe forgiveness has to come in here to heal the wounds. Forgiveness from all parties. There were basic mistakes made; human flaws, human nature and perhaps inappropriate show of understanding.

But a hurt starts healing when forgiveness is applied. The family of the late Doctor have had their justice and the law has spoken. But we urge for personal forgiveness. Let the healing start.

Ibinabo....you will pull through this. You are a strong woman. A rare breed. You will be ok. And your friends will not abandon you. We will help you find your silver lining in all of this.

And most importantly; we all must learn from this.

Entertainers are humans. They are not demi-gods. They make mistakes like everyone else and suffer for the consequences of such mistakes.

But they have an advantage which many not of their ilk do not have; the ability to bounce back. The uncanny propensity to take the second chance and make something positive out of it.

And I believe Ibinabo would do just that.

WRONG! They don;t have to barn any Car from coming into the Country especially when Innonso cant fulfill the demand. For now Innonso has to keep putting out superb products and their popularity will keep rising. In 2015 lots of people did not even know them, but less than a year now and many people are knowing them. Again they have to invest Heavily on Advertisement, using Local Celebrities etc to also boost their Presence..and as their Profile Rise, Government can start Taxing Imported Car very Heavily and many will look towards Innonso since they are providing good quality Cars at better Price! That is how it's done and not outright Barn...even as it is now, since Innonso announced that they will be rolling out cheap good quality Cars, Many are already waiting for it

Depending on who you ask, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State is different things to different people. While some see him as a hero that is never afraid to say what’s on his mind, others sees him as a local thug that has no business being in government in the first place. Whatever you think of Governor Fayose, there is just one thing you can’t take from him and that is his ability to lash out at President Buhari at any given time. It started with the last Presidential elections where he took news men to a Hotel room in Nigeria to expose a lie he believed Buhari’s handlers were telling Nigerians. Fayose spent time explaining to the media that the room was supposedly the same Hotel room Buhari granted an Interview but lied that he was speaking from the UK. Governor Fayose went about telling everyone that Buhari was never in the UK for that interview, but was rather in Nigeria… Again Governor Fayose put out a News paper advert indicating that President Buhari will die just like former President Yaradua died.

Tied of his antics, former President Obasanjo labeled Fayose Kpomo-Seller and wondered why the people of Ekiti State would elect such a man as their governor, but this jibe from Obasanjo means nothing to Fayose and if anything at all, it helped increased his attack on the ruling APC party and President Buhari. Recently, there is another news report that Governor Fayose has alleged that President Buhari is planning to Islamise Nigeria. It seems this last bit from Fayose has touched a raw nerve on the supporters of President Buhari as they pointed out that Pastor Tunde Bakare and Pastor Yemi Osibanjo are both Christians, and both were picked by Buhari to be his Vice. President Buhari’s supporters question the ability of Fayose to govern a State as they believe he indulges himself in all these to take away attention from himself and his ability to govern. Pointing out some governors that are already rolling our commendable projects in their various States while Fayose spends his time running after President Buhari and looking for things about his government to attack.
