This is why Nigeria may never advance in our generation. Pull him down mentality is everywhere. All those calling on currentprice are envious of his ability to value and predict the direction of stock prices. He never asked anybody to buy ci leasing. He never mentioned caverton here. I remember how people here were begging him, mention the stock and all that. Just wondering what will be the usefulness of this thread if people like Currentprice stop giving their opinion on stocks. Anyway I have made up my mind to leave NSE for now. |

My instinct told me on Thursday to sell all holdings and leave stock market for now. I put up all my holdings (nestle, dangsuga and ci leasing) for sale yesterday at my desired price but non got filled. Now I am seeing this news about ci leasing. I think it's time for me to sell off and come back next year if need be. |

Standardguy: Dont buy CI leasing. They are about to do a share reconstruction that will see to the reduction of shares (4 to 1) which will be replaced by shares issued to abraaj in place of the convertible unsecured loan. They are highly indebted and looking for funds everywhere.
Fidility Bank will be an excellent buy. I thought it was right issue they were planning to do? |

pre-trade I missed this one. This happened too quickly. Maybe the institutional investors have started visiting this thread. Currentprice is the real octopus. Any other octopus is fake. Currentprice which other stock are you looking at? |

Coolcash1:
Don't be deceived Nestle is grossly overpriced. It's fair price is N700.
On the lifting of the N0.50k floor price for shares by NSE, this will truly allow market mechanism to determine the true value of any stocks. Now investors will have the power to praise or punish any non performing stock... However, my concern is that it might create room for hostile takeovers...

emmanuelewumi: Information at the disposal of audit committee is already in the public domain.
The chairman of C and I told shareholders to buy more at the AGM when the stock was 60k.
MD/CEO and chairman of FBN equally told shareholders to buy more during the AGM when the stock was around N3.
Those were information shared in the public, and some investors benefited from the information after doing their due diligence. At least I was able to get ci leasing @ 0.60 |

ukay2: I am forever regreting not buying 2 million units on that day......really wishing uba can come down to that price again......i have learnt my lessons in a hard way.... Human behaviour is predictable. I can assure you that if UBA gets to 2.5 naira this year, many people will avoid it (including you) and much more will sell off hoping it gets to less than 2naira. It takes discipline, experience and personal conviction to buy stock cheap and hold for long in this modern era where you can easily sell with a single click on your computer/phone. My only surprise is why those who have been in this business for decades saw UBA that cheap in 2016 and did not accumulate even when the dividend payout was good. Let me keep learning as a newbie. |

emmanuelewumi: Unfortunately some kids have found their way here. You do NOT have to give the troll or kid any attention. You ignore trolls and don't give them the attention they are seriously craving for. You don't ignore him completely, else he will cause more damage to the newbies. I bought UBA @2.79 naira on 9/2/2016. Not even up-to 2 years. |

Toluway: You mean you don't put your real money into stocks? You also imply that stock trading is just a worthless gamble. Conversely, many of us see it as a serious business. Some even secure loans to trade it. Different strokes for different people. He is only trying to console himself. The surprising thing is that he claimed to have been trading gambling stocks for decades. |
