Point of correction, school is for learning which very broad, ever heard of extra curriculum activities, academics is just the main. how about PE & music.
Lets be realistic here, even if its mfm primary school there would be time for everything ... we sef go school we pray on assembly grounds n thats it for the day.
if you are a muslim n your biggest worry is that ur child can pray like xtains send the child to a muslim school.
That you as an adult decided not to pray is ur choice let your kids make that decision tew when they come of age don't deny they now.

... extra curricular activities entails sports and other recreational activities... religious practices are out of it.. except it’s stated.. that’s why you see Christian and Islamic collages.. they add it to the school name.. how can kids make decisions when they are being compelled by the teacher to pray against their will...

do they make such video in schools? How will you feel coming to a school and seeing your ward or pupil praying in Hindus style or with native chalks all over his body praying for Nigeria.. school is for academic, let the lady go apply for a Sunday school class.

This declaration should Be backed by law by various states house of assembly and a security outfit be launched jointly to enforce it.

I was thinking about it the other day, why do schools have to impose religious things on kids? You send your child to school to learn, they come back as prayer warriors. Same thing you see in organizations.

I once went for a meeting that wasn’t in any way religious and they decided to start with intense prayers. I excused myself till they were done. This plays out at work too. My boss wanted to make it an issue then and I told him it isn’t my job description to pray, it doesn’t make up my KPI.

If I were the proprietress, I won’t stop at sacking her, but I would have made it clear to you that such wouldn’t be allowed.

He may be that either the owner of the school is from JEHOVAH WITNESS OR A BIAFIAN... Sacking of the teacher is uncalled for... She would have been given strict warning instead. If there is no peace that school will not exist. So praying for the peace of the nation can not be over emphasized.

so it’s the prayer that will bring peace ? What’s wrong with Nigerians? Those kids might have prayed individually at their various homes... but No... Nigerians must involve religious brouhaha in all they do...
