Thanks for your reply. I'm self employed and have been doing contract jobs for year. The assessor demanded for letters from the clients and forwarded the PROJECT COMPLETION LETTERS from various clients and it details project cost and amount paid, duration of the works done and this is inline with what's obtainable in my bank statements. I thought this will cover it. They said I didn't forward reference letters from clients and because of this, no period of employed will be given to me. How do you give someone Level 1 skill and professional engineer outcome without awarding any experience? It baffle me blackbriar: |
Hh quote author=blackbriar post=136772629] Well, it depends on your on tentative points. Do you have close to 90 points, without the relevant work experience? It would be nice to have those points for relevant work experience. In the meantime, submit an EOI immediately. do not go for review. Just waste of funds. Simply apply for relevant experience recognition. Well, you will need to contact your employers for job description employment letter and tax payment receipts. If you are self-employed, simply refer t Engineers Australia booklet for self-employment documentation. My humble 2 cents[/quote] |
Hello everyone. I completed my assessment with Engineer Assui. It was granted as a professional engineer and skill level 1. But didn't include the employment period in the outcome letter. The assessor recommends I applied for relevant skill assessment or review of the CDR he's issued outcome. The reason being failing to provide letters of reference from employers. As an independent practitioner who has worked little period with companies, I do contract works and my bank statements was able to prove it. They demanded letters from the clients which was provided but according to the assessor, it didn't outline my duties. Please people, should apply for review or go for relevant skills assessment? Thanks |
Please, I need help on how to make payment to EA. |
Please, I'm done the CDR all the application and need to make payment. What's the easiest method? Regards. GraduatesGrant: |
I've worked independently as a civil for the past years, I've a registered company For this period but not a tax clearance. Would getting tax clearance validate the experience for all this years? I don't have payslip and have done most business with other account tunlex01: |
Yes you can. Andrenalin: |
High everyone, I'm a coren licensed engineer who's about to apply for Australia engineer assessment I need help on the process please. Just passed their IELTS bands requirement. I'm confused on their specific occupation to choose as I saw Civil Engineering technician or draftsman. Thanks. |
Hey everyone, What are my chances of getting PR visa. My details. 8 years of experience as a civil engineer. Certified/coren licensed. 34 years or age. Thanks. |
kamotisha:thanks for your reply. We were paid with Cheque and the amount wasn't that convincing. Can cheque photocopies or the books(I know they have a copy) serve the purpose. I've an Engineering firm registered, up to 1.6 years now, should I use this firm documents, get a tax clearance to substitute this incase I don't get a payslip or if it below what they consider professional fee? Thanks again. |
Has anyone had a positive assessment with EA without a payslips? The companies I've worked for declined to give me but indicated they will outlined it on the reference letter. Please what am I to do, is there a solution to this situation? |
fonseca1929:. Thank you very much. |
Please Family, for EA assessment, does one send Transcript to them or school? |
Solitin40:ok, do you know their charges if you want to pay with mastercard or any online platform? |
Solitin40:thanks for your response. Did you pay with mastercard? |
Please I want to pay for school fees, does anybody know exchange rate they're charging at moment to Australia dollar? |
Please house, how much Is Naira to AUD conversation rate. |
manga5:Thank you very much. What of transcript. . My formal employer use to pay us with Cheque, Is it valid and I've a company of my own which is less than two years. How am I going to get all these together? Can I write to you outside this platform? |
Good morning everyone. Please am about to launch my assessment with EA in Civil Engineering, is there anybody who has done so lately that can provide guidance or assistance in the process? It will be greatly appreciated if somebody volunteers, I don't want to miss steps or make mistakes which may result in failure. Thanks. |
Please house, I've few questions to ask. I'm a Civil Engineer but did my schooling here in Nigeria, that automatically ruled me out to get assessed by EA, my two chances of getting a visa is through PROJECT BUILDER and CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER. The good thing is am into building construction, going to be assessed by VETASS, their requirements doesn't include any English proficiency test, it's tricky in a way when you consider point to gained. AGE= 30 points. DEGREE=15 points. EXPERIENCE= 5 points.(that if the assessment go well) Total of 50. Is the IELTS test a general prerequisite in the assessment and visa application, also an avenue to increase your chances of getting more points. Thank you all. |
kingmassa:. You failed it man, most structural failures are result of faulty or zero design. Even if you give your building to the world best builder and its not adequately designed by a structural/civil Engineer, expect the building to collapse. |
Yesterday, the Pope’s historic environmental encyclical was published. The document is almost 200 pages long, which means that most of us won’t read it, at least not all of it. So here are 12 things Pagans should know about the Pope’s environmental encyclical: 1. The Pope acknowledges the “human origins of the ecological crisis” (¶ 101), specifically that global warming is mostly due to the great concentration of greenhouse gases which are released “mainly” as a result of human activity. He calls for the progressive replacement “without delay” of technologies that use fossil fuels. (¶ 165) 2. The Pope calls access to safe drinkable water “a basic and universal human right.” (¶ 11) (Take that Nestle!) 3. The Pope personifies the earth. He opens the encyclical with words from St. Francis, calling the Earth “Sister” (¶¶ 1, 2, 53) and “Mother” (¶¶ 1, 92) This comes from the hymn of St. Francis’ “Canticle of Creatures”. However, he does not refer to “Gaia” or any other goddess, and makes a point of saying that he is not “divinizing” the earth. (¶ 90) 4. The Pope recognizes that we are part of the Earth. “Nature cannot be regarded as something separate from ourselves or as a mere setting in which we live,” he says, “We are part of nature, included in it and thus in constant interaction with it.” (¶ 139) “[O]ur very bodies are made up of her elements, we breathe her air and we receive life and refreshment from her waters.” (¶ 2) This last sentence will sound familiar to many Pagans. In fact, it closely resembles language from “A Pagan Community Statement on the Environment.” 5. The Pope rejects Gnostic Christianity. “Christianity does not reject matter,” he says. (¶ 235) According to the Pope, Jesus “was far removed from philosophies which despised the body, matter, and the things of the world.” (¶ 98) He condemns those “unhealthy dualisms” which marked some Christian thinkers and “disfigured the Gospel.” (¶ 98) 6. The Pope recognizes that we are part of a vast interconnected system. No less than 8 times throughout the encyclical, the Pope observes that “everything is interconnected,” a fact which, he says, “cannot be emphasized enough.” (¶¶ 16, 42, 70, 91, 111, 117, 138, 240) 7. The Pope condemns extreme anthropocentrism, but emphasizes humanity’s uniqueness. Although the Pope criticizes “distorted” or “excessive” anthropocentrism (¶¶ 69, 116), he nevertheless insists on humanity’s “pre- eminence” (¶ 90) and “superiority” (¶ 220). He eschews “biocentrism” (¶ 118) and declines to “put all living beings on the same level.” (¶ 90) 8. The Pope reinterprets the command in Genesis to exercise “dominion” over all the earth. He rejects the notion that being created in God’s image and being given “dominion” over the earth justifies absolute domination over nature. Instead, he says, a correct reading of Genesis, reads that language in the context of the commands to “till and keep,” the latter word meaning “caring, protecting, overseeing and preserving” which “implies a relationship of mutual responsibility between human beings and nature.” (¶ 67) 9. The Pope calls for a “radical change” in our understanding of the economy and progress. (¶ 171) He condemns the “deification” of the market” (¶ 56) and a “magical conception of the market” (¶ 190) (referring apparently to the “invisible hand”). He says, “The environment is one of those goods that cannot be adequately safeguarded or promoted by market forces” (¶ 190), and so he disapproves of the idea of carbon credits, which would allow wealthy countries to continue their excessive consumption (¶ 117). The Pope also attacks the “modern myth of unlimited material progress” (¶ 78) and observes that economic development does not always result in a higher quality of life for people, and frequently diminishes people’s quality of life (¶ 194). While he doesn’t go so far as to call for an anti- capitalist revolution, he does speak of the “subordination of private property” to the “global common good.” (¶¶ 93, 169). “The Christian tradition has never recognized the right to private property as absolute or inviolable, and has stressed the social purpose of all forms of private property.” (¶ 93) “[T]here is always a social mortgage on all private property,” he says, quoting John Paul II. (¶ 93) 10. The Pope calls for an “ecological conversion” of individuals and communities. (¶¶ 216, 219) The Pope warns us against seeking only technological solutions to the environmental crisis. (¶ 144) He calls us to question “question the the logic which underlies present-day culture.”(¶ 197) He also calls for an “environmental education,” which includes a critique of the myths of modernity, which he lists as “individualism, unlimited progress, competition, consumerism, the unregulated market.” (¶ 210). And he observes that we need a spirituality capable of inspiring us to protect the planet (¶ 216), a sentiment which was also echoed in “A Pagan Community Statement on the Environment.” 11. The Pope sees the ecological crisis and poverty as related, and he rejects population control as a solution. Throughout the encyclical, the Pope emphasizes the “intimate relationship between the poor and the fragility of the planet” (¶ 16) He sees “the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor” as one. (¶ 49) The Pope condemns proposals to reduce birth rates as an example of blame-shifting: “To blame population growth instead of extreme and selective consumerism on the part of some, is one way of refusing to face the issues. It is an attempt to legitimize the present model of distribution, where a minority believes that it has the right to consume in a way which can never be universalized, since the planet could not even contain the waste products of such consumption.” (¶ 50) The also Pope speaks of an “ecological debt” owed by the global north to the global south. (¶ 51) 12. The Pope connects the “right to life” to the protection of the environment. He suggests that the same principles which move us to defend the environment should be applied to human life. (¶ 136) The Pope sees our disregard of the poor, the disabled, and human embryos as connected to our disregard of nature. (¶ 117) “Since everything is interrelated, concern for the protection of nature is also incompatible with the justification of abortion,” he says, “How can we genuinely teach the importance of concern for other vulnerable beings, however troublesome or inconvenient they may be, if we fail to protect a human embryo, even when its presence is uncomfortable and creates difficulties?” (¶ 120) www.patheos.com/blogs/allergicpagan/2015/06/19/12-things-pagans-should-know-about-the-popes-environmental-encyclical/?utm_source=SilverpopMailing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Pagan%2006%2024%2015%20(1)&utm_content=&spMailingID=48956146&spUserID=OTA5OTkwMDg0MTIS1&spJobID=703278135&spReportId=NzAzMjc4MTM1S0 |

Joshthefirst:Is this nature a default setting or learned character. If its the former, then somebody created a flawed being and the same time expect it to be flawless. |
goshap:^ You believe and accept virgin birth of christ, went ahead in another paragraph to call people frauds and clowns when you already be duped by your holy book. So amazing, I wonder who's the clown here. Go and read your holy book in it original language, Clear yourself of any confusion and come back to apologize. |
In matters of jesus salvation, the discrepancy or the confusion never started today. This article give a little insight on how it has evolved since ages. www.patheos.com/blogs/lovejoyfeminism/2014/08/there-is-more-to-christianity-than-penal-substitutionary-atonement.html |
I was doing some research and came to know 'bout russia orthodox Church( mostly 60% of population believe in dis faith) and came to know that it was Apostle Andrew(apostle peters brother) who founded this church N to my suprise they share almost same faith and doctrine with catholics. It assured me that all this catholic doctrine is not mere Men doctrine like how most xtain assume it to be. The two church was founded by people who worked with our lord jesus and they founded the church in different part of world but still same faith.. I encourage catholics to be doing more research 'bout dis whole things. |
