Like something that happened recently, where I was working before till this January. I was a security there but also handling the booking of eggs and documentation. The company phone an iPhone 13 was always with me. The owner of the farm is in US but she subcribes 20gb data and 10k call every month to that phone bcus she always call everyday thru WhatsApp while the call cards where to call customers.

I left there on the 5th of this month, not bcus I did anything wrong but bcus my main boss from the security outfit found out the owner of the farm was relating with me more than him.
He used excuse to redeployed me to another place which anger the owner, bcus I was really of help to her. Even after I left there she called me to say she will recall me to come work fully for her.
So, a week after I left there. The owner called me accusing me of stealing data and credit from the farm phone before I left. That her manager told her I was the one. I boldly told her it's a lie, that my line is Airtel and the farm phone is MTN and it's not possible.
Then she said what really hurt me that if I were the short temper type, I would have insulted the hell out of her.
She openly told me on the phone that I am a thief and hardened criminal. That I shouldn't worry they're investigating the matter, that police will come for me soon after the investigation. She then said I should give her 10min that they'll send the list of numbers siphoning data and credits from the farm phone. She didn't allowed me talk before she cut the call.

I then calm down and send her WhatsApp msg, detailing how I am not always short of data and call cards on my personal phone. She herself has dash me 10k on four different occasions to buy data for my phone bcus from September of last year, MTN network began misbehaving inside the farm but my Airtel was going 24/7 and so my personal line became almost what she used in speaking to all the staffs everyday. So I told her why should steal from the farm phone if she has been doing that for me and I am not always out of data.
And then told her lastly that I am very sure of myself that I didn't take a dime from the phone and that she should do me favor. If they finish the investigation and my number wasn't found among, she should pls do me the honor of telling me who it was.

You won't believe 6hrs passed and I didn't see any msg on my WhatsApp from her or from anybody about the matter. She then called me in the night, hey Mr Uche, sorry about earlier on how I accused you wrongly. That the investigation has brought out 4 numbers and names. That one of my colleague in the security unit and the former manager who left before I left were the ones stealing.
They clear 15gb out of the 20gb data she used to subscribe to their lines and their friends.
And also clear the airtime of 10k while still borrowing up to 7k join.
I almost wanted to yell at her for the earlier insults, but I restrain myself. Why, bcus in the 5 months I worked with her, I studied her. She's very nice if everything is going on smoothly. She rewards you for doing everything fine, but at the same time, just make one single mistake. She can shout and insult your full generation. But when shouting at you on the phone, don't argue or talked back harshly to her. Just be answering her calmly. I bet you after everything, in an hour or so later she will be talking to you nicely with laughs as if nothing happens earlier.
So my guy, apart from her. I have learnt from many other places how to deal with people and ones bosses.

After everything, she still remind me that she will recall me when she needs me. Even though I have lost the enthusiasm to go back there. It's only increase in pay that will make me go back there
