More than enough has already been said about restructuring Nigeria for there to be lasting peace and development. The truth is that our politicians don't want to hear anything about restructiong especially those in power i.e the Presidency and National Assembly.


To butress the point, a national conference was held in 2014 and some good recommendations were made but nothing can be done without the National Assembly. Because of greed, the national assembly will not want to entertain anything that will have to do with a structural change in this country.


My question now is what other option is left for Nigerians when those in power will not budge or do we continue to wait for their blessing till forever?
