GworoChewinMaga: The value of the naira was moved from 199 to 258 by the CBN at the begining of monday
what is it with you zombies? It's almost like your average zombie IQ is less than that of a field mouse. Honestly I don't know how to describe these people. Something is moved from 199 to 250+ yet they say there is no devaluation just to guard the reputation of their herdsman president. |

Shym3xx: LOL.
In just one day?
By December, $1 = 500/600 naira.
And when proper inflation hits - I won't be surprised when the people hit the road and start protesting.
Voodoo/paper economists will also join the protests...that's when shiit has hit the fan.
I expect these clowns to announce a new policy by latest August/September and peg the naira with something/somewhere. This lousy policy is not sustainable with the big hole the country is. It's just a trial and error method - to see where naira will settle at. No sane person would willingly float a currency as weak as that against the dollar. You're better off pegging it to the dollar.
Anyway, I think Adeosun needs to resign and jump off the sinking boat before she destroy's her career/CV. She's surrounded by dunderheads in a country where everything is done based on sentiments and where slaves love worshipping the slave masters, despite how inhumane the slave masters treat them. This is a very sound message for omenka, vedaxcool, tbaba1234, Passingshot, Modath, Obailala and others. |

wirinet: [s]Fayose and his supporters must have noodles in place of brains. Did they read the report at all? The report talked about a Ms aisha Buhari, a middle aged woman (in early 2000s) living in the US, who claimed to be the daughter of a former head of state, and Fayose and his supporters ( fellow waiters) interpret it to mean Buhari's wife ( whom they also accused of being child when she married Buhari in 1989).
If anybody named Aisha Buhari is Muhammadu Buhari's wife, then the president must have dozens of wives. A simple Facebook search will show some of them[/s] Keep deceiving yourself. |

fulanimafia: PMB has already given orders for the Halliburton case to be re-opened months ago following a request by the U.S Gov't. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/07/182m-halliburton-scandal-buhari-orders-preparation-of-case-file/
As usual, this cheap distraction from the ponmo-dicing governor will be ignored.
While we want the Halliburton case brought to a logical conclusion no matter who is indicted, the investigation of Fayose's accounts remain the prime focus at the moment.
The harder he tries to distract, the harder EFCC's eyes will look at his finances. The train station diplomat can only succeed in digging himself in deeper.

Ishilove: Well, if Nigeria should scatter today they will lump all of us together under the igbo ethnic group, so no, I don't have a problem with being called igbo. I just don't identify with igbo people. I hope you get the difference?
Yesterday I had energy to type epistles but today, that energy has gone into reserve for weekday hustles. I have never been one to engage in prolonged arguments so let's just let it rest. I may be 'Igbo' based on ethnic groupings, but I don't identify with them. Never have and I don't know if I ever will. Thank you for taking your time to respond to me. Please I just want to ask why you don't identify with us. Do you have any particular reasons or you just don't like us or what? I want to know so that if there is anything we are doing wrong we can work on changing that. Please share. |

What you are doing here is really painful although you have a right to your own opinion and post whatever you wish. chukzyblingz: You're not making any sense. Does Buhari calling him an Igbo man make him an Igbo man? Nobody else has the right to tell you who you are. you tell people who you are. This your mindset and that of Ishilove is the biggest challenge we have in the east. |
Culture › Re: Delta Igbos by Leopard2A7: 7:42pm On Jun 19, 2016 |
chukzyblingz: How they see you doesn't define who you are. Kaduna Nzeogwu led a coup and an Igbo man benefited from the coup and the Igbos made a big deal out of the coup by making mockery of Hausas even in the North, that could be one of reasons they came for the Igbos. Like I said earlier just don't worry. If another war breaks out then you will understand how you are grouped in Nigeria. Emefiele an Ika man is CBN governor yet Buhari was on national TV and said an Igbo man is CBN governor and shouting 'What do the Igbos want?' Tomorrow an Emefiele who is seen by Buhari and his people as an Igbo CBN governor will come out shouting 'We Ika' Odiegwu o. |

chukzyblingz: What are you saying in essence? that other tribes should give up their cultural heritage the same way 70% of Fulani people don't know how to speak their language? That is not what I am saying. Even in the SE, we have differences in cultural practises and even the way we speak yet we are all called Igbos. What is wrong if an Ishilove should say I am Igbo from Ukwuani just like Ikechukwu a prominent member of this forum will always say he is Delta Igbo? You can keep your culture and language. |
Culture › Re: Delta Igbos by Leopard2A7: 7:29pm On Jun 19, 2016 |
chukzyblingz: I'm not Igbo and will never claim to be one for any reason. but if they call any Anioma wannabe Igbo fake Igbo, he deserves it. that's to show Igbos know themselves when the chips are down Just don't worry, if a war breaks out in Nigeria today then you will understand how the rest of Nigeria classify you. By that time we will see how far all this your shouting will take you. Kaduna Nzeogu from Delta state led a coup against the north and they came for the Igbos. Nuff said. |
Culture › Re: Delta Igbos by Leopard2A7: 7:26pm On Jun 19, 2016 |
oweniwe: She knows jor.....
The thing is... If you say you're Igbo from Anioma or Ukwuani.....
The Igbo ppl from the SE will start taunting that you're "fake igbo "
If an Anioma person want to start a venture or group and he go meet SE Igbo people for support, they will start asking him stupid questions about his origin.... Questions they would never ask an abia or ebonyi man.
In a nutshell, SE igbo see themselves as being superior to other igbo speaking people around yhem.
This kind of "Superior mentality " is what other igbo speaking people find repulsive... They would rather walk away than be dressed down or belittled by people they initially thought were their brothers. Look, this is not true. The 'Superior mantallity' you talked about can also be found amongst Yorubas. Have you seen the Ijebu arguing with other Yorubas before yet when they are called Yoruba they accept it like that. We have a problem in the east. Honestly the westerners and even the far north appear to be smarter than the east where the wise men are supposed to come from because of people like Ishilove. |
Culture › Re: Delta Igbos by Leopard2A7: 7:22pm On Jun 19, 2016 |
chukzyblingz: The question is are Fulani people Hausas? Is Fulani the same as Hausa? Accepting being called an Hausa doesn't make one an Hausa. Does it? A Fulani man is not an Hausa man but if you call him a Hausa man he will accept it and not start writing long epistles trying to prove to you that he is not Hausa. We usually call all of the Hausa up north and they don't shout about. Ijebu language is sort of different from the core Yoruba dialect but if you call them Yoruba they accept it like that. It is only in the east where this one is trying to prove that he is Anioma and not Igbo. That one is trying to prove he is Ika and not Igbo. The other one is shouting at the top of his voice that he is Ikwerre and not Igbo. I smh for the east. |
Culture › Re: Delta Igbos by Leopard2A7: 6:20pm On Jun 19, 2016 |
Look at the western flank, whether they be Egun, Ijebu, Egba or whatever they accept being called Yoruba.
Look at the northern flank, whether they be Fulani, Kanuri or Hausa they all accept being called Hausa.
It is only when you come eastwards that you see people like Ishilove saying they are not Igbo but Ukwuani. You hear another one say he is not Igbo but Ikwerre. God help us in the eastern flank. I wonder what you'll will gain with all this minority you're claming. It has now changed from 'We SS' to 'We Anioma.' odiegwu ooo.
As for Ishilove and co, if a war breaks out in Nigeria today then you will understand how the rest of Nigeria sees you.
Thank God for guys like Ikechi1 & Ugomba.
