Good advice but stay away from Poloniex. They've been stealing cash lately

Is that so? How so?

My advise for peeps if you're new to the crypto currency space, you should use exchanges like Ploniex or bittrex to buy bitcoins and other altcoins and reduce this particular process that goes on here on NL to avoid stories that touch. You may or may not pay more in exchange rate prices using your bank cards or even sometimes directly through your bank accounts ( I have reservations about this tho) but you'll be better off than getting scammed by some unscrupulous souls here since you're more assured of receiving your cryptocurrency.

Also I only recommend poloniex or bittrex because they seem to have enough liquidity to withstand large volume of withdrawal. Do not try using local exchanges unless you have vetted them well enough (that is if you in fact know what to look for).

A word to the wise.

So I'm trying to understand why most y'all here have to buy btc and other altcoins from peeps here with human-escrows when you can just buy directly from exchanges using regular bank prepaid/debit/credit cards?

Is it because of dollar? The exchanges can directly convert Naira to Dollar, no?

Or is there something I'm missing?

Profitable ICO Alert. 10th July

DDF ICO is one good one to consider. Before bidding on an ICO the team and product offering should be checked out. DDF seems to have quite a solid team and their product offering of owning and selling internet domains is quite feasible.

DDF offers qualified investors an opportunity to
participate in high growth digital assets . Via its upcoming ICO, DDF raises funds to expand its asset allocation.
The DDF token sale commences on Monday July 10th, 2017 and runs for a maximum of 30 days. DDF token holders acquire “proof-of-membership” in the fund with access to quarterly dividend distribution. A total of 249m DDF token are sold for 249,000 Eth.

Investment / Re: How To Withraw Your Bitcoin Staight To Your Local Bank Without Any Exchanger by LePrezident(m): 1:30pm On Jun 22, 2017

Hi guys,
I'm pleased to teach this to many peeps that find it difficult to withdraw their hard earn bitcoin to their local bank account directly without going through any exchanger like instant gold, naira4dollar, etc.
Let me keep it simple,
I find BitX bitcoin wallet as my favorite wallet for my withdrawal because it is safe and Is directly connected to my Nigerian bank. Also all bitcoin is shown in naira equivalence instead of the normal USD others have. Simply send all ur bitcoin from other wallets to BitX and press a button to withdraw to your bank asap.
All withdrawals attract a processing fee of 100 naira only. Maximum withdrawal on bitx is 40k daily.

You can simply download the app from play store for easy use.
Enjoy.. .
Screen shots below

OP, how about coinomi wallet? Can that also be used to send money directly to bank account without an exchanger?

I totally agree but when will that happen in Africa with the leaders that we have. I mean there are people without electricity and go to bed with an empty stomach .if we can't even still provide basics to our people .Those books might change someone's life no matter how outdated.

Well you might have a point but still we do not need to throw up our arms in despair. In fact some parts of Africa have made great strides and e-books which are not outdated would serve them better, I'm talking about Rwanda. That is a model African state and they have the best leader ever in Paul Kagame.

Lol, I actually think this move is misplaced and won't help African students in anyway. I rather agree with the suggestion by this guy below.

nairalandbuzz:
Many of you might call this a nice concept but to me,but is taking Tai Solarin University or so further backwards...

For them to throw away the books, it means they are outdated or the information in them has been surpassed...

What they need is very cheap Internet in Terrabytes like China and Japan where they deliver 1TB to homes and stable electricity not old outdated books.

South east should not support Osibanjo come 2019

Osibanjo is campaigning for 2019, we must stop allowing ourselves to be used

It is time for us to broaden our political horizon and play politics that guarantees our security across Nigeria

The best way to guarantee this is to be fair to all.

Let the North Present another candidate to Carry on from where Buhari stopped

Let's not support a selfish politics that props up a dieing man as Nigeria's President so that Osibanjo can sneak in through the back door!

Osibanjo should go and sit down, Obasanjo has been President for 8 long years!

wink. So what's your take on the title of the thread?

Ok my take is if your bf cheats on you and you find out;

1. You either walk out

Or

2. If you feel the love is strong enough and you can talk it through and get over it (though with much reduced trust) then you can continue to stick with him.

What's the point of being in a tit-for-tat playstation relationship when you could save up that energy for a walk in the Namibian deserts.

I seriously don't understand why some people feel the need to force themselves on others. When someone goes out of their way to cheat on you ( which Is hard work ofcourse ) because he has to live like a fugitive, this to me means he's totally lost interest in the relationship and is just too cowardly to come clean. So why would I waste my energy and time competing with a greedy coward or sit around hoping and praying that one day he will come to his senses and see value in me again? Lol sick people.

I'm doing great girl, had a superb long weekend in the desert of Namibia with friends cheesy. The fever has been long gone. How are you?

Oh this is why you was MIA?

OK, I don't like it when I'm reminded not to generalize, when blanket statements are thrown here everyday. Don't you think I'm grown enough, outside of this place, to know no two fingers are the same? You asked me a question, I answered based on my encounters & observation. Nowhere did I say all are ABC. I clearly said the one's I've met, which don't even account to a 3rd of their population, I'm sure. So kinda hold back on the preaching because I don't really care for it. I'm big enough to know what I like & I haven't seen it in the Nigerian men I've met.

#sigh.

Why do you doubt it? I've not been with one until now because I'm very picky. The problem with the ones I've met here, they're the type that'll tell you how good they are in bed, like you care. No time to create a good rapport or good 1st impression. It's all about sex from the onset. I'm not a sexually driven person, so that kinda puts me off. I like good conversation, don't bore me with sex talk when I don't even know you. Hence, imo, I think they're good only for the hoes.

Well I guess you've just met the wrong ones. But from my experience with different shades of people, it's best not to generalise and make sweeping statements cos as every sect of people have their bad nuts, they also got their silvers. I always have this guiding statement; "prejudice is a potent self-destructive weapon" as such each individual should be treated on their own merit. Cos I bet same way there are perveted Nigerian men, we also have perverted South African men.

P.S: Kindly remember my folks are Ghanaian (I however remain and African with no national ties) and as such I'm making this statement from a very objective stand point.
