Let's just wait for the PSC's report then. |
Please keep this news coming, it is better than that nonsense Big Brother Naija. |
Nice. From Bright Chimezie's Son to Buchi's Daughter. Men are aging ooo. God be praised. |
Much Needed Statement |

OMG This is so so touching. See innocent children crying. Am sorry to say, but the many many years of corruption and maladministration (both past and present) of this country's affairs have given birth to this terrible monster of kidnapping and banditry, and am afraid that terrible monster will be very very difficult to defeat. I don't want to say it is finished. This is heart wrenching. That second picture of 2 men carrying a boy has moved me to tears. |
Another worthless show idolizing the flesh has sprung up. Sad |
"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4 v 12 Only through the Name of Jesus (Yahshua) I plead with you, reconcile with God today and your lives will take a better and meaningful turn. |
People representation has died at the LG level. The LGs have no autonomy, the Governors run show. Why come out to vote when for all their year tenure, you don't get to feel their impact and most times don't even know the Councillors and LG chairmen. Sad ![]() |
ThinkSmarter:It's not the He Maduka but a She |

Party flag on top curtain.Honourable chairman Sir, are you sure you can win this election ![]() |

Nigerian polictians they we push u push u to keep spending giving u unnecessary hope at the end after election the decamp to the winner, Maduka get sense and go back to America , Alex go build hotel this year for your headThis guy has said it all. |
Role Model for the Youths and Teens |
Mokason288:Shut Up too, there is never a reason to commit crime or do evil. Jeremiah 17 v 11 - "As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool." So because Nigeria is a failed state, you want them to run faster than their shadows? and to you going into Yahoo Yahoo will preserve a future for your unborn children? Egbon better repent and Remember God visits the iniquities of the fathers into the bosom of their children, and upon the children's children unto the third and fourth generation. Exodus 34 v 7 |
Good. The breakdown of the very fabric of morality in the society has led to its increase. The Word of God is not been preached with efficacy anymore, very few preachers of the Word. The preachers of prosperity have taken over. |
Ehn take possession and hand it over to the State that owns it.
|
The politicians are scared about man in the middle attacks during results transmission. A serving Senator said a former ruling party has Yahoo Yahoo boys who can do the dirty work. If INEC said they have the capacity, I believe with the use of encryption and possible Blockchain technology, they can preserve election results whether static or in flight. NB: We can't forget that the 2016 Elections in the US was hacked. |
Over the years Peace Achievers International Summit and Awards has remained one of the most well attended Award Occasions organised and held in Abuja Nigeria. It has witnessed the recognition and Honour of great leaders in Africa, Peace Workers and other contributions towards the advancement of peace in crisis challenges sectors across Africa and especially in Nigeria.Really? They're training you, money is not easy to come by |
Nice and beautiful |
"When you're succeeding, you would have no reason for pride" - Archbishop Benson Andrew Idahosa I think we've had enough of this burial thing, even to the point of comparison, and it is caused by the publicity crew of the Cubana's bombarding Nairaland day and night with publicity stunts. They shove it down our throats that these guys are billionaires, and they mention one Jowizaza as a billionaire, whom I never heard of or seen on the dailies. But it fine, we can move on now. But one thing is certain, the pettyness of calling everyone a Billionaire is robbing us of simple knowledge and eroding our intelligence here on Nairaland. Adenuga and the likes are in the class of listed Billionaires on the Billionaires index, these guys roll with Presidents and own Oil Wells and employ thousands of families, unfortunately, we don't know much of these showbiz boys (forgive me, I call them boys) with PR crews that are constantly bombarding Nairaland for publicity stuff. Just for reference, Billionaires from the Eastern Flock: GiG MotorsNB: Some of these guys quoted above have their companies listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE); Abeg I no fit shout. Real Billionaires don't make noise and have no need for publicity. They're the real MVPs and Role Models we should all aspire to become. They're employers of thousands, own Industries and enable people to put foods on their tables. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billionaire Edit: I read from this BBC Pidgin page that Obi Cubana's Chain of Clubs in Nigeria is worth $2 Billion USD - https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/tori-57872163 On another same BBC Pidgin page, they said he is worth $96 Million USD, but unverified - https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/tori-57872724 Peace |
Ok |
Hmmm wetin concern INEC, their own na to follow court order. With the way it is going, Alex Reports of Accord party might just clinch it. ![]() But Obiano and Soludo know what to do, a little billions will settle the court case. Everybody wan chop. |
Worthy recipient Ezeunala, who got 347, attended Meiran Community Senior High School, Lagos and received full funding to study Computer Science and Mathematics at Columbia University in the City of New York. The way to go; Computing is the future, AI , Machine Learning etc |
Good, let's use this time celebrate with our muslim brothers and also to reflect and remember to embrace the "the grace of God that bringeth salvation;" And we know , this Grace - "hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;" - Titus 2 v 11 - 13 The Truth is that God wants to come close to anyone, draw nearer to Him for he loves you. |
Aww how nice. I wonder wetin Baba too dey sign , She would be like "wey in rubuta mei na" Translation "what is he saying i should write" |
Climate change is real, flooding in Uk after extreme scorching heat? Some parts of California and Nevada is witnessing triple digits heat wave as we speak. |
True. Our eastern brothers, you guys are the fragile children of the nation, we love you and don't want you to go. With time, you will assume your rightful position. |
Here in Nigeria, going by the new parallel exchange rate of NGN500 to $1, my yearly rent in a 3 bedroom apartment in a remote area of Lagos is $500 (NGN250,000); yes you heard that right; $500 or $608 if were using the new CBN NAFEX rate of NGN411 to $1. Here am considered average, and through the Grace of God I feed 3 times a day. This is all square and good if I earn $400 USD per month here in Naija which is at least N200k per month. I believe in the States, monthly house rent like the OP quoted is like $1000 USD per month; my sis in the UK too pays 1000 GBP (pounds) per month; so they have to work their socks off so as to pay monthly house rent. Likewise me down here in Naija, once I rally round and find N250k for my yearly house rent, i can go six months without job, just sleeping inside house and praying for better tomorrow, since I don't need to pay monthly house rent. In some form of sincerity, Naija is better due to what I just posited, thou i provide my water via pumping machine and generator is on me. N50,000,000 is $100,000, which falls to $8,333 per month for an American. According to NPR, The American median household income is roughly $59,000 a year. But around the country, even six-figure salaries for some single-person households don't necessarily furnish financial security. On paper, that kind of salary is considered well-off. But as we heard from many, it often takes just one major expense for that to not feel like enough: student loans, health care, childcare or housing costs.- https://www.npr.org/2017/12/03/567602293/what-living-on-100-000-a-year-looks-like So the OP is right, $100,000 USD per year isn't necessarily sufficient for an American and can be considered above median in the United States, but for a Nigerian earning N50,000,000 per year or $8,333 per month (4 Million plus), he is considered a millionaire, for he can ride a brand new car, live in some choicest estates, build a house and his kids will go to some very good schools. He has escaped the poverty trap, and with some good investments, he can only get richer. |
You mean since inception, MCA didn't pay a single dime to FIRS? Haba, MCA is in the league of MTN, how could they not have been paying Taxes? More questions begets answers from FIRS abeg |
