PoliticsRe: Majority Of One-third Out Of Overall Senate Members Can Impeach Saraki – Sagay by letthemknow: 5:38pm On Aug 10, 2018
Sagay`s hatred for Saraki and his support for Buhari and APC is turning him to a bias SAN who misinterprete the laws of the land to suit his party and his employer. The constitution demand for two third majority but Sagay is turning it up side down just like He was defending Kemi Adeosun even if she forged her NYSC certificate or she did not participate in the compulsory NYSC service as against the laws of the land is a call for a lawless Nigeria. Is it not the rule of law that says the punishment given to a poor person should also be given to rich person. If she commits a crime, she should be punished irrespective of her position in govt.
Sagay should stop promoting lawlessness and talk like a true constitutional lawyer that he is known to be.
PoliticsRe: Why Mass Defection Of Lawmakers At NASS Is Illegal – Falana by letthemknow: 11:44pm On Aug 04, 2018
Falana is bias from his analysis and legal point of view. The R-APC that emerged out of the APC at the national level and the factional congresses held by different camps within the same APc showed that APC was and is still divided. Since Falana is a lawyer Lets ask him and APC these questions
1 what was his reaction in 2014 when 5 governors, some senators & house of representative members left PDP and joined APC. Was their action legal or illegal.
2. When Tambuwal left PDP and joined PDP and still continued in office even when PDP was still the majority in the house of representatives was it legal or illegal.
3. When senators Andy Uba, Hope Uzodinma and others left PDP for APC was it legal or illegal
4. Where was falana and what did he said.
He and APC should know that a precedence has already been set and what is happening is a failure of APC leadership. What stopped president Buhari from meeting with the would be defectors when they wanted to see him face to face rather than late efforts he made by meeting some of them which yielded no fruits . The truth is that nigerian politicians dont learn from the past. APC need to know that the prevailing conditions in 2014 that made the PDP loss power apart from corruption has worsened under the APC. Buhari need to visit rural areas and interact with ordinary nigerians and stop depending on his advisers who only deceive him without telling him the truth about the situation on the ground.
PoliticsRe: ‘why We Sold Our Votes In Ekiti’ by letthemknow: 9:52pm On Jul 21, 2018
So the govt deliberately caused this hardship so that they will come and buy votes of hungry people. It is a shame to both parties especially APC taking into consideration her anti-corruption stand.
What Most Nigerians are ignorant and dont understand is that taking money to vote a candidate simply means selling your future and that of your children.
The 70 year old man interviewed will have nothing good to offer to society despite his age.
I would have felt better if they collected the money but went ahead to vote a candidate of their choice.
PoliticsRe: Governor Ortom To Meet With Oshiomhole At APC Secretariat Abuja by letthemknow: 8:50pm On Jul 19, 2018
Ortom is conFused. He is already a failure. The people of Benue will not allow him to govern them again. This man has brought so much suffering to workers in Benue state. Any party that this man contest as its candidate in 2019 will fail. He should stop deceiving us by using the name of God. How can a pastor make workers to suffer for 12 months without salaries and pension not been paid for over one year. We give him credit for enacting and implementing the anti open grazing law but that will not make people vote for him again.
PoliticsRe: Why Ortom Gave Himself Red Card – APC by letthemknow: 7:36pm On Jul 19, 2018
Ortom is a failure and can not be allowed by Benue people to rule them for the next four years. PDP stand a chance of winning elections in Benue state if they nominate a credible candidate. Ortom failed to pay workers for 12 months (2017). Pension has not been paid for more than one year. There is no serious project executed by ortom in benue. He has killed the local government system in Benue. He is the worst Governor to ever govern Benue state. The little sympathy that Benue people have for him is his firm stand and insistence on implementing the anti-grazing law in the state. PDP should learn from Ekiti where Fayose failed to pay civil servants for many months which led to the defeat of the party. PDP will also fail in Benue if they ever make the mistake of nominating ortom as theIr candidate if he decamp to PDP.

HealthRe: JOHESU Suspends 43-day Strike, Orders Workers To Resume Work On Friday - Punch by letthemknow: 2:39pm On Jun 01, 2018
It is unfortunate that Johesu ended the strike without achieving anything. The manner in which the strike has been called off, members may not be paid their April & May salaries. The invoking of the no work no pay enshrined in the trade union dispute act of 2004 enacted by a PDP govt but was never used by any of the PDP past govt but by a govt that promised us change shows the height of their wickedness. I strongly feel that Johesu will achieve nothing with this govt still in power. This govt has proven that it is not a listening govt but a wicked govt. I strongly advice Johesu to forget about strike but take the political option by negotiating, alligning & supporting the main opposition candidate in the 2019 presidential election who will be ready to carry out favourable reforms in the health sector. I strongly believe that Johesu members who constitute 98% of the workforce in the health sector will support such move. This struggle is legitimate & as such Johesu should not be afraid. If we dont take this option our oppressors will continue oppressing your members as long as this govt remain in power. They are a minority but they control you, the govt, the ministry & hospitals. It should be noted that trade unions usually support political parties that are sympathetic to their cause.it should be noted also that the supreme court in a landmark judgement of November 8, 2002 ruled that civil servants are free to join political parties of their choice in line with the 1999 constitution. This judgement supersede both the provisions of the public service rules and the 2001 electoral Act both of which ban civil servants from becoming members of political parties. The onus is now on Johesu to take this option for them to bring equity, reforms, appointments, influence decision making & other favourable polcies for their members.
