So unfortunate that it is just the way the world is. Yesterday frowns at today and today frowns at yesterday. What is now a tradition was once an abomination and an abomination what was once a tradition. It is not imposible to be a virgin at 25. as a matter of fact, i lost my virginity at the age of 27, only last year while running my masters. I got involved with this girl and we loved ourselves. As a UNILAG chick, she never believed i could be a virgin until we had a first night of sex. The truth is that i didnt feel any different or even have an experience that is like wow! It was not even "sweet" to use the word. So guys, it is very possible. All depends on your exposure and the opportunity. How did your friend do over the weekend? I just read through the posts this morning and i have heard the comments of all. I want to tell you however that there is a bank i know she can drop her cv and will be invited for a test in a short while, well that is just in case she doesnt mind still working in a bank. My bank does not give targets and the requirement is strictly 2.1 or 1st class. as a matter of fact, that is one of the reasons why i was asking about her grade. Note that i am not making any guarantee but only giving one additional advice piece like others. I may not be able to give details of the place as that is where i work and i have official reasons thereto. the way i am giving you this advice was how i was once given the advice. you can hit me through my email on my profile for further details i will give you which i cant post here due to its confidentiality. however, i will only be able to read the mails by weekend cos we are banned from public mails. alternatively, post your email and i will send you my phone number so you can call me. but pls i really may not be able to read till weekend. i only check my phone for urgent mails, else, weekend. so it's up to you if you are okay with that, but like i said, i am not making any guarantees. i do not own the bank but can only give her some help which outsiders cannot have access to.

You have been a very good friend encouraging her through it and all, but what are the alternative remedies you have advised her on? for instance have you encouraged her on applying for jobs? i must tell you the truth, although people say this period is an economically crushed one but in two months for instance i had about two-three offers. people are still getting juicy jobs in this period. let her throw her cv around cos the earlier the better. in any case, her marketing counts as a job experience which furthers her chances. besides, i know the easiest kind of job to get now is a marketing job. she may just be interested in continuing in same field. meanwhile, what is her qualifications and grade like?

Believe me, i got jilted less than two months ago. as a matter of fact, this girl, i have already introduced her to my parents and all that. Cos of her, i just got an apartment i will be moving into next week. she gave me ideas on what she wanted in the house and all that. i woke up one morning to hear she is returning to her ex. i thought it was a joke but so it happened. so many other stories underlying but which are to be private. well, guess some may call me foolish cos all the while we succeeded in having the relationship pure. we never slept together, a record i wanted to create, moreover i saw my wife in her eyes. Gosh! so much story. so you see my friend. i am a private person really but i like making friends. i have a couple of friends i have made through the net in Egypt especially. but on a good day, i am private. one of the reasons why i want a date is cos my previous relationship will trouble me. i hve tried to rescue the relationship but guys on nairaland just advised me to let it slip. so here i am.

My vacation commences mid of this month and i can imagine ahead how very boring it will be for me. Well the point is for the two weeks plus break i need someone for a blind date. Well, someone who i can just share the vacation with (NOTE: Not a sexual mate pls!! Just purely one to spend my time with) Also, preferrably though not strictly, same should be a christian or really God-fearing. Same also should not be older than 25. The age i believe will facilitate effectiveness of communication, My opinion. So pls, decent ladies in the house can justle in; hit me on your interest, especially if your vacation too is around that period. Never make such generalisations. Guys still spend. If i dont know anyone, at least i know myself. In my recent relationship i spent so much to make her feel happy. at the end, i still did not get the attention i wanted/deserved. will that make me not to spend in another relationship? maybe yes for some guys due to the experience. but for me, it doesnt change a thing. as a matter of fact, i enjoy spending on my girl cos it makes me feel responsible and happy to see she is happy too.

I really really appreciate your comment too. but dont you think as in your lines above, the girl would be mean enough to be taking me for second option? the truth i must tell you however is that the love used to be as strong as not minding whatever she took me for so long she is mine at the end of the day. but then i only felt the level of attachment should be stronger as we started planning marriage. on the other hand however, i am scared of imagining my wife going out to see another man secretly after marriage. moreover, i have personally taken a vow that i will never divorce my wife no matter the occasion, not even on the ground of infidelity! GOd help me though.
