APC youths: Fayemi wanted Fayose out, but got duped by Aluko Some youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the aegis of Ekiti APC Youths Congress (EAYC) have alleged that the desperation of Kayode Fayemi, minister of state for solid minerals, to remove Ayodele Fayose, Ekiti state governor, from office made him fall prey to Temitope Aluko, ex- secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The group, which claimed that APC leaders in Ekiti were more interested in removing Fayose from office than assisting “our party members who are hungry”, said Fayemi spent millions of naira on Aluko against its warning. EAYC threatened to leave APC if its leaders continue being insensitive to the plight of party members. “We warned our party leaders that Aluko was only duping them, but they refused to listen,” EAYC said in a statement signed by Tope Ogunkuade, its convener, and Tunji Adeleye, its secretary. “Because of APC leaders’ obsession for their ‘Fayose Must Go’ agenda, they refused to listen when they were being warned against wasting their money on Aluko. “Now that Aluko has returned to Fayose, isn’t it time for our leaders to face reality and stop looking for crude means of getting Fayose out of office, and getting duped in the process?” The youth said the party was focusing on damage control over Aluko’s meeting with Fayose, wondering why Aluko did not inform “those who have been wasting millions of naira on him when he was going to meet Fayose”. “If Aluko was honest, shouldn’t he have informed the likes of Dr Fayemi and Senator Babafemi Ojudu before going to meet Fayose?” the statement read. “Whatever excuses that Aluko gives today, he has vindicated our position that he was only scamming our party leaders and cashing in on their desperation to return to power through the backdoor instead of preparing for 2018. “It is however not too late for us if only our leaders will face reality, purge themselves of this their ‘Fayose Must Go’ obsession and deploy their money into assisting our party members, who are dying of hunger. “Any further attempt to keep funding the likes of Aluko will mean that our leaders have opted to ease us out of the party and we won’t mind leaving the APC for them before they kill it with their insensitivity to the plights of our members.” |

1. When a girl ignores your message twice, leave her alone. She isn't blind, she just chose to ignore it or possibly indisposed at the time. There's no need sending more messages. 2. When a girl accept your request. Seriously typing "Thanks for accepting" on her wall is lame. Do it ℓn her inbox. Some of you get ignored when you type that crap on their walls. 3. You don't need to be a male LovePeddler. Don't woo every random chic on your list. Some are good enough to be just friends with you. Get to know her first and win her trust. 4. As I usually stress, don't be a thirsty dude on a girl's post. If the post is nice, simply hit "like"and move on. If you need to comment, make it brief and interesting. Don't go begging her to add you. 5. If the picture is beautiful, like it and give a simple compliment. If it's not, there's no need to lie to get her attention. 6 When chatting you don't spend your whole time telling a girl how beautiful she is, a hundred other dudes tell her everyday. They find it boring when you join the train. 7. You have those chicks who have never liked, shared or commented on any of your posts. They also don't reply your messages and comments on theirs. Please ore, why haven't you deleted them? You be their slave? 8. If you find yourself always starting the conversation with a particular person, like you're always the first to message her, stop for a while. If she doesn't notice, you're not important to her...Leave her alone. 9. If you guys don't roll, don't tag her to your pictures. She might find it offensive. 10. The lesser of you, the better for you. When you are all over her wall, all over all her posts and all over all her pictures commenting and liking everything, you are less appreciated because you are acting thirsty. 11. When you compliment a girl on her picture and another person compliments the same picture, and the girl thanks the other person and skips your name, please remove your comment. |

I don't really know what is wrong with Nigerians, they accommodate lies so much, but if Nigerians been told the gospel truth they will be annoying and be ranting.... Fayose is the main man right now, I wonder why Nigerians always attack this man for telling pure truth, some will pass insultive languages to him, so will curse him just for telling truth, only Fayose fighting the FG for incompetency...others keeping quiet because they are afraid of Buhari...only Fayose bold enough to face APC e-rats... Nigerians wake up from your slumber plssssssssss! APC that got nothing to offer Nigerians! They won election by massive rigging, they want to be in power by all means now they're there, Buhari keep travelling with our money here and there for meeting that doesn't even have any impact on Nigerian! I wonder oooooo! Fayose overseen everything and he seldom tell Nigerians the outcome but they never take him serious...is ok na! We dey watch! Thunder wey go fire APC e-rats don finish press-up....e dey clean sweat to attack now! Foolishness is when u voted APC in power after massive promises and later denied it! APC never accept defeat in their life, if they're loose woefully, they will never accept, they rather go to court, and if they are compelled to accept defeat, to put call across the opposition party candidate who won is a war for them "proudness of the highest order" Fayose only can tackle Buhari and APC e-rats! Anyway I still dey come o I never finish! Lexxy. |

A government that appoints Raji Fashola a senior legal practioner as minister of Power instead of attorney general, an administration that appoints a newspaper columnists Adamu Adamu as a minister of education while a renowned professor and former vice chancellor of an university Prof Anthony Onwuka was appointed as junior minister of education and a government that can boast of a technocrat and law professor as a vice president but never represent Nigeria in any important world summits but his boss who is a former dictator that was overthrown from the government about 31 years ago without any record of attending leadership summits or written any book since then, but he travels almost every month to represent Nigeria in important world functions and non important summits. What do you expect from such an administration? Am still wondering how we ended up here. |
This is quite shocking. A surgeon pulled out 18 toothbrushes from a patient’s stomach during an operation. The doctors who were speaking Spanish also removed objects which resemble a corkscrew and some tweezers from the patient's inside using tongs...According to reports, such an occurrence is only ever seen in patients with psychiatric problems.

– HRW urges President Buhari to bring back the 300 school children kidnapped in Damasak by Boko Haram in late 2014 – The Human right group says the initial calls to report the kidnapping were ignored with locals scared of the government’s response – This is as a result of the govt’s inability to discover the location of 276 schoolgirls who were taken from Chibok in April 2014 An unreported kidnap in late 2014 has been allegedly discovered. This follows an investigation by the Human Rights Watch (HRW) that Boko Haram seized hundreds of children from Damasak, a remote town in northeast Nigeria. It was learnt that the initial calls to report the kidnapping were ignored with locals scared of the government’s response. This follows the inability of the government to discover the location of 276 schoolgirls who were taken from Chibok in April the same year, which drew worldwide condemnation and calls for action. An unreported kidnap in late 2014 has been discovered as an investigation by the HRW shows how Boko Haram seized 300 children from Damasak. Speaking to AFP on Wednesday, March 30, a local government administrator said some 300 children were among the 500 girls, boys and women taken from Damasak on Monday November 24, 2014. According to the administrator, his seven-year- old child was among those abducted. He said on the condition of anonymity: “We kept quiet on the kidnap out of fear of drawing the wrath of the government, which was already grappling with the embarrassment of the kidnap of the Chibok schoolgirls. “Every parent was afraid to speak out. “Locals who managed to flee alerted their political representatives in the Nigerian Senate and House of Representatives but they kept mute and ignored us. “The government didn’t want the news out. “They went to the private school and Islamic seminaries and carted away children as young as five. “They also went into town and forcibly seized children from their mothers, children too old to be breastfed. My 16 nephews were among the children kidnapped. They were aged between five and 16. “Hundreds fled across the river that separates Damasak from Diffa in neighbouring Niger but many drowned. We returned to bury over 200 dead bodies in mass graves. “The insurgents killed more than 200 in the initial attack, which happened on market day.” The administrator noted that his decision to speak out publicly came after Human Rights Watch highlighted the case on Tuesday, March 29. According to HRW’s investigation, Boko Haram occupied Zanna Mobarti Primary School in Damasak in November 2014 after taking control of the town. More than 300 students were inside and, over the following months, the militants banned teaching in English and forced their captives to learn the Koran. When soldiers from neighbouring Chad and Niger advanced on Damasak in March 2014, Boko Haram militants fled the town, taking with them the 300 schoolchildren and around 100 more women and children who were also being held captive. HRW’s senior Nigeria researcher Mausi Segun, however, said while Boko Haram’s abductions could not be justified, President Muhammadu Buhari’s government, in power since May last year, also had to act. “Three hundred children have been missing for a year and yet there has been not a word from the Nigerian government,” she said in a statement. “The authorities need to wake up and find out where the Damasak children and other captives are and take urgent steps to free them. ” The former president Goodluck Jonathan in March last year had denied reports of the Damasak. According to him, there was no fresh abduction in Damasak. But since the emergence of Boko Haram insurgency, at least 17,000 people have lost their lives in six years. This is perhaps why the US military once regarded the Islamic terrorist group as the most lethal violent extremist group in the world. |
– Timi Frank calls for Timipre Sylva’s probe – Frank warns APC against looming crisis – APC describes Frank’s claims as bogus and misleading allegations Timi Frank, the deputy national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) is now divided into two factions, Vanguard reports. According to Frank, if not properly managed, the serious cracks in the party can lead to crisis and subsequent loss of its hard-earned popularity. Speaking with journalists on Thursday, March 31 at his residence in Abuja on the brewing crisis in the party, especially with regard to the tussle for influence in his home state (Bayelsa), Frank said there are lingering intra- party disagreements even though the leadership was pretending otherwise. He said: “If anybody should tell you that there is no division even at the national level, they’re telling lies, I can tell you there are issues, there are very critical issues. The issue of the Senate president is still lingering, nobody is saying anything at the national level but I tell you, any Nigerian that knows will tell you very clearly that with the body language of our party as at today, if we are not careful, we are going to lose our popularity. “It will be a big disgrace that we have hands that are not competent at the centre to harmonise the aggrieved persons and make us move forward. “So there is crisis in the party. If anybody says there is no crisis, it is a lie. We have many divisions right now within the party, so I won’t be scared to speak. That is my personal opinion and I have spoken again and I will continue to speak out. “I have nothing to worry about, in a matter of short time, this will come to play out. I spoke of problem in my state, Bayelsa, but people ignored me. I am speaking again, it would happen soon at the national level that these things we are sweeping or hiding have started already. “Let me take you back to the issue of acting or not acting, I’m still insisting and making it clear that I’m the acting publicity secretary of APC. I’m saying it without fear or favour. I’m the acting spokesperson of the party. “Those persons in the party who do not want me to speak, Nigerians will start asking them questions anytime soon, but I’m on top of my game and I can tell you it’s not something I have to beg or lobby anybody or beg any chairman who calls himself national chairman. “I don’t have any national chairman to beg, I don’t have anybody to lobby to get this position, its automatic except the party wants to portray itself as undemocratic or a party does not follow due process. If this party is a party that follows due process, I don’t need to beg, and that is why I continue to insist I will not beg or lobby anybody.” Timi Frank, the deputy national publicity secretary of the APC has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) is now divided into two factions. On claims by Chief Timipa Orunimighe, Bayelsa state APC chairman, that former governor Timipre Sylva collected money from the minister of state for Agriculture, Heineken Lokpobiri, to nominate the latter for a ministerial slot, Frank urged the party to get to the root of the matter. According to him, the allegations are too weighty for the leaders of the party to remain quiet, and such posturing will impact negatively on the image of the administration at the centre. He said: “Today I am a very happy man because when I came out before the governorship election in Bayelsa to say that Timipre Sylva cannot do the job for the second time in Bayelsa because he was not liked by the people and was very unpopular at that time, nobody took me seriously, including the leadership of the party in Bayelsa state at that time. But today, I am happy and I am thanking God that he has shown Nigerians what I knew then. “It is a total disgrace if our party cannot act or investigate this allegation and just allow it to go under the carpet without taking action on it. Nigerians and the opposition party are waiting to see what we are going to do. “I call on the state party executive to immediately suspend the former governor from the party, while we should go into investigation because if they don’t suspend him, he is going to stall the investigation. “Again, l want to make it very clear and boldly that APC is a very credible. President Muhammadu Buhari is a very credible president and we would not allow anybody to soil his image or our party. This party does not sell political office or exchange political office for money. “I am making it very clear, the SGF should be very careful in doing his job so that nobody should rope him into trouble or run him into problem because today I expect the SGF to scrutinise any name that is coming from any state, to make his findings and consultations very clearly to know if Mr. A is coming from Bayelsa state or if it is the Bayelsa people want? He should have been able to do his homework.” But in a swift response, the leadership of the APC has disagreed with Frank that the party has divided interests afflicting it. In a statement issued last night by Mai Mala Buni, the secretary of the APC, the party described Frank’s claims as “bogus and misleading allegations.” The statement reads: “The attention of the National Secretariat of APC has been drawn to a statement ascribed to the party’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Frank where he alleged that the “APC is now divided” among other bogus allegations. “The bogus and misleading allegations are unnecessary distractions to the party’s resolve to fully support the President Buhari administration deliver on the motley promises made by our great party to the electorate. “The APC national leadership remains united and solidly committed to the task of bringing cohesion to the party at all levels. “Recently, the APC held its National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings were positive and far-reaching decisions were collectively taken by the party’s leadership to drive the party forward. “The party will not deny anybody or interest the right to seek justice where he feels this has been denied him. However, we sincerely appeal that we all play by the rules in our engagements and be guarded in our utterances. “The public is advised not to misinterpret or confuse Frank’s personal opinions to be the official position of the Party or the true reflection of what is happening inside the Party. For the umpteenth time, only the APC National Chairman and the National Secretary are authorised to officially speak for the party.” Naij.com recalls that John Odigie-Oyegun, had been publicly humiliated by Comrade Timi Frank after the APC chairman had said in a statement that Lai Mohammed, the APC former national publicity secretary now minister of Information, is irreplaceable. However, Frank in his reaction to the chairman’s statement said the issue of election shouldn’t have arisen when there was a deputy who would replace Mohammed. The deputy national chairman, who said Oyegun’s statement was malicious and aimed to discredit him and the party, reiterated that there were many party men and women who can fill the vacant positions in the party. Frank urged the national chairman to withdraw his comment and stop making further statements on the matter. |
Three Warri guys and three Igbo guys were travelling by train from Enugu to Lagos to attend a conference. At the station, the three Igbo guys bought tickets each and watched as the three Warri guys buys only a single ticket. "How are three people going to travel on only one ticket?" asked one of the Igbo guys. "Watch and you'll see," replied a Warri guy. They all boarded the train. The Igbo guys took their respective seats, but all Three Warri guys cram into a restroom and closed the door behind them. Shortly after the train had departed, the conductor comes around, collecting tickets. He knocks on the restroom door and says, "Ticket, please." The door opens just a crack and a single arm emerges with a ticket in hand. The conductor takes it and moves on. The Igbo guys saw this and agreed it was quite a clever idea. So after the conference, the Igbo guys decided to copy the Warri guys on the return trip and save some money (being clever with money!). When they got to the station, they bought a single ticket for the return trip. To their astonishment, the Warri guys bought no tickets at all. "How are you going to travel without a ticket?" asked one perplexed Igbo guy. "Watch and you'll see," replied a Warri guy. When they boarded the train the three Igbo guys cram into a restroom and the three Warri guys cram into another one nearby. The train departs. Shortly afterward, one of the Warri guys leaves his restroom and walks over to the restroom where the Igbo guys were hiding. He knocks on the door and says; "Tickets please." LOL |
