So Madam Tinubu, you may want to take that threat seriously oo, after all, Senator Dino Melaye has been known to do exactly what he threatened to do to you to his ex wife. Maureen Onu who is

brightest contestants died in
the early hours of Thursday
June 16th after a brief illness.
Speaking on this loss, Santiago
Roberts, CEO of the Miss
Tourism Nigeria Organization
says “the brand has lost a true
and a great gem; Maureen
was one of the brightest who
was always prompt to carry
out instructions/tasks
giving and willing to learn; she
was looking forward to
representing her state with
pride during this year’s finals
and with the hopes of
becoming the first ever
national tourism queen from
Ebonyi state.”
The Organisation also
promised to redesign the
content and production of the
event to honour the lost

APC took politics of bitterness
and anti-country posturing to an
unprecedented heights when
Jonathan was in power. They
spared nothing. They demonized
him (which might be normal in
politics) but beyond that, they
wished Nigeria evil when he was
in power. APC sided with Boko
Haram. They wrote to the US not
to sell arms to us. They reported
us to European Union. They
reported the then chief of army
staff, Azubuike Ihejirika, to the
ICC. (Can you imagine that?)
What was his offence? For killing
Boko Haram members. They
commissioned CNN to do a
documentary on the "killings".
Any time Nigeria was frustrated
for not being able to buy arms,
APC and its supporters
celebrated it! Whenever Boko
Haram leveled any village or
announced any 'victory', our
compatriots were always happy.
YET, THEY CLAIMED THEY WERE
NIGERIANS!
What of name calling? Up till
now, you read names like
"morons", "idiots", "fools",
"lunatics", "buffons" and so on.
Where are people called these
names? Because they do not
support Buhari or APC! No other
offence than that. These are
names some little minds call
others purely for political
reasons. And same names they
used severally on the former
president. One of Buhari's
ardent supporters once said: "All
Jonathan's supporters are fools".
He said it on my wall. I quickly
did the needful.
The questions are these: if you
did not imbibe the spirit of
nationalism and patriotism when
Jonathan was in power, why do
you want someone else to
imbibe such now? Just as it was
your 'choice' then, na by force
now? If you derived pleasure in
calling the former president
names, terribly derogatory
names, why do you feel sick if
someone calls the current
president names? If el-Rufai
could accuse Jonathan of going
to Chad to plan another terror
and also reported his country to
ICC because of Boko Haram,
then what is wrong in Fayose
telling China not to give us loan?
It is the size of grain we 'loaned'

Nigerians that his disagreement

be resolved by using the CCB to
drown him. The Leadership of
the CCB should have been
queried by honest Nigerians for
ignoring to point out the error in
Sen Saraki's asset declaration
form made 12 years ago.
President Buhari's asset
declaration in 2003 did not list
his Asokoro, Abuja Mansion
which worth over N6billion in
2015, knowing that he
purchased the house before he
made the initial declaration.
While we support the war
against corruption, using it to
fight personal enemies or
settling political differences must
be discouraged and condemned
by all Nigerians. The Nigerian
Police and CCB ignoring an order
from a superior court and
threatening to arrest the Senate
President is another set back on
our Democracy that have
blossomed in the last 4 years.

terrorists have now left their
base and are running to other
parts of the country.
The statement reads: “This is
to inform the public that due
to aerial bombardment and
concerted efforts of the
ground troops, and facing
imminent annihilation, Boko
Haram terrorists have been
deserting Sambisa forest in
droves trying to disperse to
various parts of the country.

“The cowards are running
away from their well noted
enclave in Sambisa forest for
their lives. Consequently it
becomes necessary to inform
the public, especially well
meaning Nigerians, to be
more vigilant and security
conscious.
“The public are please
requested to be observant
and report any suspicious
persons or group of persons
to the military or any of the
security agencies to enable
timely detection and
apprehension of the fleeing
insurgents before they mingle

havoc.
“We would like to reassure the
public of the confidentiality of
the information provided and
reiterate our commitment to
the clearance of the remnants
of Boko Haram terrorists.”

Temitope Aluko who is a former
Secretary of the Peoples
Democratic Party in Ekiti State
has called on the Inspector-
General of Police and to grant
him protection, alleging threat
to his life.
Aluko, who addressed a press
conference, yesterday in Lagos,
accused Governor Ayodele
Fayose of Ekiti State of plans to
undermine his safety.
He, however, called on the
Attorney-General of the
Federation and Minister for
Justice to fast-track the
happenings of the 2014
governorship election in the
state.
His words: “I have not fled the
country and equally on bail
from the agencies while
snippets of issues ensuing from
these statements are filtering
into the ears of the actors/
beneficiaries such that attack
are now coming from all
direction targeted at me.
“While the army council sacked
their officers as a result of the
investigation, it is unfortunate
that the civilian actors/
beneficiaries of the Ekitigate are
not only walking the street
freely, but also threatening my
person and family.”
Describing the happenings of
the 2014 governorship election
as gross abuse of power
executive power, illegality,
harassment and intimidation, he
said “this is a call on the
Attorney General of the
Federation not to allow all these
to be swept under the carpet in
view of recent happening. The
far reaching effect and
implication on our electoral
process and procedure are
obvious.”
He dismissed the claims by a
former speaker of the Ekiti State
House of Assembly, Mr Dele
Olugbemi, that he prostrated by
governor Fayose describing it as
blackmail.
He said “I never prostrated with
Hon. Olugbemi anywhere.
Olugbemi will do anything for
Fayose after all, he is an
appointee of Fayose. Please
note that I understand Fayose
and I understand the working
system. I can tell you that
Olugbemi’s press statement was
composed directly by Fayose
and delivered to Olugbemi
though his media aide.”
