Let’s do the counting. Players currently firing on all cylinders: Osimhen, Iwobi, Bassey, Lookman, Akor Adams, Bruno, and Osayi—whose engine has clearly been activated. Onyeka is also in top gear. Then there’s Semi Ajayi, the unsung hero.
Sincerely speaking, I can’t fully judge the performances of the guys on the bench yet, but from what I’m seeing, almost the entire starting eleven is firing on all cylinders—except Nwabali, who hasn’t really been tested in this knock out stage .
With this level of performance, it will be hard for Morocco to come out unhurt from the “accident” they seem eager to walk into 😄. Algeria have already had their fair share of the Super Eagles—they can live to tell the story.

i am not saying he was wrong ...My point is simple: Finidi does not have the authority to make that claim, because he has not done the right things to support it.

I have explained it repeatedly that Finidi is 100% right in that statement. Tuchel repeated the same thing. I watched a recent interview of Oliver Glasner, coach of Crystal Palace and he said the same thing.

You can't try Finidi's exposure working with Coach Monday Sinclair, Van Gaal, Louis Aragounes. Sometimes people should learn.

This is why I struggle with certain football arguments.

Finidi dragged us backwards tactically. Is he an authority? What significant success supports his theory?

If this were Guardiola or The Special One, I would have given it serious consideration.

Same warning to9 to Onyeka. The Moroccan strategy would be to ensure we are a man down and to do this early (in the first half). Bassey's hard tackling won't be tolerated. He's very prone to this and a bias refree will misconstrued his strength

I still see the Moroccans winning 2:1. We have done quite well but this is as far as the Super Eagles can go. The Moroccans will do all within thwer power to ensure they win this. The referee will never be on our aide amd you'll see the Nigerians conceeding a lot of free kicks in dangerous areas. Onyedika would do this amd it'll lead to a goal and he'll be vilified for a while like Iwobi
