The Club didnt want to risk Aina at the Afcon. They still feel miffed Aina was not available through out the reign of Postecoglou before they even fired him. We wanted him at the Afcon but Nottingham felt otherwise and perhaps even convinced Aina who in turn reasoned it out with the NFF.

My theory is the NFF didnt want to make a drama of the whole thing seeing the club has a point on missing Aina for a long period due to injury picked up vs SA on that Potato farm.

i am so sure if he is in this Afcon , he will have either a goal and some reasonable numbers of assist . Another SE players that will always give his all . we have just very few of them in this current SE ....

Let’s pay close attention to Mozambique — they have a solid team. No one has really blown them away in this AFCON, and they’ve conceded only five goals in total.

They lost 2–1 and 1–0, but they also beat Gabon 3–2. The Super Eagles must not underrate them — Mozambique can definitely spring surprises.

If we win our next game, we could be heading into a chance for revenge in the following rounds. The Super Eagles should keep things simple and take it one game at a time.

I watched the highlight of the Nigerian vs Tunisia match. Bright Osayi did very well . Why are Nigerians condemning him ?

you cant watch highlight and come to his defence like this ... he fiddled out after 60-70mins .... i think Chelle should learn how to manage this team , its been a general problem since the time of Rohr .... mental alertness of the backline drops after 70minutes . if we must win the AFCON , the team should wake up including Nwabali ,

the Tunisian undoing today was coming to play defensive style and trying to hit us on counter ,Onyeka ,spoilt the plan kudus to Chelle , for neutralising the plans , a nice game so far ...unfortuantely the scoreline didnt translate what the Tunisians went through

Senegal defense has always been their weak point coming into this AFCON, just not as bad as Nigeria.

And DR Congo is fast becoming a problem in African football. I'd rate them above South Africa and Mali right now at least based on current form.

with the big names they have there ... i am enjoying the way DR Congo is playing . they match Senegal pound for pound . but i still believe that Senegal can comeback or win this match

DRC scored s tactical goal they curtail Mane ,Sarr , Jackson and the rest ... even Koulibally slept off

on a good day , if the boys plays with their strength and discipline , they can beat any team , my worry is lack of seriousness and focus .more reason why they lose one game and win game ,,,

it was a very high intensity match , but i think it can go either ways , Cameroun wasnt as clinical as the SE ... but the game was electrifying from start to finish

Nigeria vs SA (Away) even without Osimhen and Aina we wrestle SA on their home ground..we played them correct
Nigeria vs Lesotho, we played them handsdown, just Nwabali and Ajayi almost cost us the game

all these teams you mentioned are lowly rated team except SA and DRC . Truly SE has fallen . even the average team like DRC and SA are now the standard . lets us stop celebrating mediocrity ... we played badly yesterday . and i can telly you that if not for the school boy errors by the Tanzania forward , it would have been 2-3 or 2-4 in favour of Tanzania . if SE doesnt rase the standard of their game .Tunisia will beat them silly

we played very badly and struggled to win Tanzania , i was expecting a 4:0 or 4:1 giving room for Nwabali's error .if we play like this against Tunisia , trust me , they will trash us .
