I am talking about the eye test and not the stats. Delap is stronger and holds up the play better. His touch looks better as well. He is also half the price of Rasmus.

Even if he flops it will be a 35m mistake not a 75m one. Ideally, we need a more established no 9 but i am not sure the obvious options will come to us now with no UCL football.

Delap is better than Hojlund and half the price. Ideally though, we should get someone better than Delap in addition to Delap and then offload Hojlund.

Conte don drop that update even before he went back to Italy

He took over at Spurs mid season, turned their fortunes around and qualified them for the CL that same season with the same formation and a certain Reguilón as LWB.

Another manager took over at another club, plunged them into 16th position and now needs 5 pre seasons, 6 TWs + a blank cheque to take the club out of the abyss!

The point here still remains - if we are blaming players/recruitment as the issue plaguing the club for years, it means we should have even stuck with the useless Moyes and probably other coaches that followed while trying to address the problem.

You cant be saying it's a player/recruitment thing and still found cursing previous managers who "suffered" under the same recruitment palava that you are attempting to use as an excuse for Amorim's woeful performance at the club
