Yea that was one of the reason he started the final. If he has been contributing for upto 5 months straight, he would have been more shaper in the final.
No doubt about that. Maybe he could step up should Bruno leave.

They have to make a very crucial decision next season on what to do with him cos he needs game time to develop. He is only 17 so does he play another Under-21 season and get minutes here and there with the senior team or does he go on loan? What they must not do though is repeat the last 3 months of this season whereby he was just sitting on the first team bench and was not playing regular youth game either.
That will depend totally on the transfer market and how many attackers we manage to sign.

If he’s going to be surplus to requirements, a good loan move would be the best for him IMHO.

Mount played well today. Offered more stability offensively and defensively , way better than whatever Garnacho did. He was more matured too.

This match just shows how useless Hodjlund is.

I think he played the last game. Couldn't score also.
Useless guy.
Hojlund is all over the place. Maybe he needs proper bench time to regain his senses. He just plays rubbish every time, focusing on unimportant issues like fighting defenders, and when it’s time to score, he falls flat on his face.

Chido Obi is already better than Rasmus. His touch is better. His movement is better. He reads the game better. His finishing is better. That is why i wanted him to play our last EPL games, but Amorim wanted to forcefully play Rasmus into form because he was our only CF in Europa. I blame the club for not registering Chido for Europa sha.
Better touch. Yes.
Better movement. Yes.
Better reading of the game. Yes again.
Better finishing. Absolutely.

At this point, it’s only logical that Obi replaces Hojlund in the pecking order— if the workload won’t be too much for him.

His first goal is a proper 9-in-the-box goal. I haven’t seen Hojludn do that in a while. He also read the game well for the second goal.

Shame they didn’t register him for Europa. He could’ve made a difference in that final.

Ultimately, we just need to keep building up these young talents.

LooL. You better start in time.

I’m looking forward to him getting more minutes next season. He just needs to keep on developing.

When I was saying give this boy proper chances it was like I was beefing.
The opposition wasn’t EPL standard tho. But it’s quite mortifying that in spite of their lesser level, Hojlund played rubbish against them as usual.

Honestly it will be hard to replace our best player oo. His creativity and goal contribution needs to matched or improved else na certain relegation we dey face like this.
We keep losing goal makers one way or the other over the years…and we’re not replacing them.

Bruno has contributed 23G/A at least each season.

Sharp now ooh but when he suddenly turn shit (God forbid) playing for us, you will blame the board for wasting £62.5m on a player from Wolves..
You just want to antagonize me. I haven’t said anything about the Cunha deal and I’ve stated severally that our last summer window was okay, we just need to build up on it.

Unlike most posters here, including you, I don’t suddenly turn on players or managers
