This was given as a goal for Arsenal by the way. Did the elbow not impede Martinez?

Arsenal has gotten away with this kind of thing all season.
Yeah, they’ve been getting away with it. That’s why I said they’ve been sneaky. They don’t impede the GK in a glaring way. It’s always subtle. And often, they hands off before the ball gets to him. That West Ham guy just mumu

Arsenal first goal this season

This was Saliba impending and holding our keeper hand.

VAR no use 30 seconds to confirm the goal.

It's a robbery on West Ham.
Saliba didn’t leave his arm on Bayindir unlike that West Ham player.

It's the same way they scored us on match day 1.
That West Ham guy suppose komot him hand as soon as e impede Raya. That was how Calafiori got away with it vs Man Utd.

Arsenal are very sneaky like that.

No squad is unusable. You have to find the right approach that works best for the players you have on ground.

That's where our former manager failed.

I honestly think Carrick has extracted the maximum possible from this squad. There are so many limitations to this squad and if they are not addressed in the summer no great manager will have these guys competing for titles.
We’ve been scrapping by with wins with our first team. No Casemiro today made things so much worse. Imagine what will happen if we also lose Bruno.

We don’t have the squad to play 2 games per week. If we don’t get at least 3-5 players good enough to start for the first team, next season go bloody- Carrick, Nagelsmann or whoever.

Chelsea and Arsenal are the best in the south. Arsenal are very good at producing 1-2 difference makers while Chelsea usually has a large group of dominant physical players.
Yet most of those academy kids don’t make it. I still marvel at how luck and timing plays a big part in transitioning to senior team. It’s not easy at all.

I’m anticipating that FA Cup final. If we win, na miracle. Gabriel’s form needs a resurgence.

Next season is going to be hectic and hopefully, a few of them can be counted on to fill in when we need to rest some seniors. Obi, Lacey, the Fletcher boys and a few others should get some minutes.

Their academy is the best in the country for so many reasons.

Firstly, they scout some of the best talented players in the country. Only Man Utd and Chelsea are close in terms of the overall talent pool in the academies.

They also have the best facilities and staff that money can buy. They have better coaches and staff and they have more coaches and staff which helps with development. If you look at the benches tonight; we had 1 physio and 1 conditioning coach while Man City had 2 physios, 1 conditioning coach, 1 nutritionist. The difference is clear like 7 up in terms of the overall setup and player development but we close the gap because we have 1 or 2 difference-making players.
Is Chelsea the only academy down south with good repute? I’ve heard good things about Crystal Palace and West Ham as well. City is the best in the whole country and probably Europe.

United attracts talents mainly because of the brand.

Reigan Heskey showed Kamason pepper. If you allow him cut inside na sure fast past hanging, if you let him go on the outside he can either bend his run and get in front of you or cross with his left. If you stand off him he will pick a sure nicely weighted pass, if you stick close to him he will roll you with his superior strength and be through on goal.

I would be interested to see how well he does in the senior footy where his physical advantages are nullified.

Then the guy on their other wing McAidoo is the reason Mantato plays LB for England instead of RW. If not for community defending he would have disgraced Diego Leon today. It would have been nice to see how he would have played against Kukonki.
I even forgot about Leon! 😀

Not a pretty sight. Harry Amass is definitely ahead of him in terms of technicality and football knowledge. He’s just got that rawness and a strong mentality to make it.

Hopefully we can sell him for a decent profit.

I noticed that those City kids play as if they are more coached. They are like machines. Their play feels rote and structured, unlike our boys that were more…human?

Not saying one approach is good and the other is bad. But it’s an interesting phenomenon, given the argument that creativity in football is dying with accusing fingers pointing at how academy players are being brought up. Effective, clean and clinical.

Under-21s beat Man City's side in the PL2 semi-finals. City's Reigan Heskey is a bad boy.
Those City kids are monsters. Terrifying machines. They should’ve been 4 up in the first half if not for poor finishing. They’re readier for first team football than our boys, especially physically.

We were lucky to win. Opelope Lacey and Obi. Looks like they’re forming a partnership. Lacey was really good. But that Heskey boy. Ijaya. I can see him becoming a successful professional footballer. Very wicked boy.

If Villa wins the Europa league epl 6 won’t qualify as far as Villa is already occupying a ucl spot in the league
The 5th position qualifies via the new European Performance Spot, unlike nos 1-4. If Villa wins Europa, they qualify for UCL automatically and that spot goes to no 6.

Bayern needs players who will take shots. All these dressing of the ball around the box no make sense. You have to test the goalkeeper and put pressure on PSG.

PSG only need to start the second half strongly to win the tie. They score a quick goal again and it’s over for Bayern.

1. Mendes handball for second yellow
2. Névés handball for penalty.

The ref should’ve given at least one of those calls. Both players extended their arms in both situations. Teams have been punished for much softer offenses.

If that was against your team would you agree that to be a penalty?
Considering that you’ve been crying about Man U and refs for the better part of the last decade you’d do worse if it was your team that was denied such calls.
