What reason do I have to hate him ? 🤷‍♂️

That guy is just an average player and almost everyone knows it. Even you also confirm that by saying "maybe he's not at the level we want him to be ".😂. That's just a mild way of admitting we deserve something better.

I'm not picking on him, I already mentioned it consistently that our entire midfield is trash and that reflects in how progress the ball from the middle to the forward line. I'm not saying Iwobi is Bakayoko level I'm saying the fact that Nigeria with Iwobi at the head of creativity is struggling against minnows; we will definitely be owned if we play against more decent teams.

I know they don't play the same position, but would u see Partey of Ghana and say he's average? Of course not, but we Nigerians know Iwobi is average just that we don't like to admit it to ourselves.
Yet, you complain about him much more than the others. If only those ones get space intelligence and enough passing ability, you won’t be harping on Iwobi alone.

BlueRayDick:
Iwobi has always been average right from his days at Arsenal ; that Nigeria chose to build their midfield play around him doesn’t change that fact .

The earlier we follow the Morocco route of scouting for players of Nigerian descent across Europe and convincing them to play for the national team , the better for us. If we take that route you would be surprised there are players out there who are more talented than Iwobi .

I don’t even need to hate watch to see his inadequacies every match he plays both in the EPL and in Nigerian colours . The boy is just not good enough .
I think you just hate Iwobi for some reasons. Cos you can’t be watching SE and single out Iwobi in that midfield for censure.

Maybe he’s not at the level that we want him to be but he’s far far better and technical than Ndidi and co. If the others were at his level maybe we wouldn’t need calculators to stand a chance to qualify for the World Cup.

We might not even play Bolivia at all.

Two teams are qualifying from the FIFA play off and if we qualify from Africa we will be seeded meaning we'll only play 1 game.

The FIFA playoff will be divided into 2 bracket, the 4 lowest ranked teams will play each other in semifinal, and those that win will play the 2 seeded team for the qualifying spot.

If we manage to qualify from CAF, we are going to the world cup.
I admire your confidence.

Make we win CAF playoffs first.

I just hope we rise to the occasion. Whenever we do that, only talented teams can stop us.

Where is the quality in all the qualifiers we've played?

Nigeria plays worse football than man utd team of last year. I've nit enjoyed just one out of the last 4 qualifier matches I've watched and those are supposed to be the matches they played best ó.

We perform much better when we are the underdogs. That’s the case at the World Cup.

So it's Nigeria that will not disappoint Nigeria?

Baba, this south Africa will still scrap with some Asian teams and any unfortunate Oceania that finds themselves in their group. But u see this Nigerian team ; they are pants.
We go still try pass all these other teams e sure me. We have better quality and can rise up to the occasion. These other African teams get to the World Cup and the massiveness of the tourno swallows them up. Watch this Mokoena abi what’s his name fade next year in the USA.

Omo South Africa deserve to win thag our group ; they are playing very good football while Nigeria dey gba.

South Africa will do Africa really proud at the tourney than all this nonsense Nigeria dey play
That’s where you got it wrong. Most of these Cape Verde and Satafrika will just go there and disgrace Africa. The only team that I think can be decent is Morocco. But even them sef, them no sure.

Very annoying country o. Imagine all the yeye points they dropped in the first 4 games or so. They should even disqualify us sef.

I just hope Satafrika fielded another ineligible player today. That’s the alternate universe in which we qualify for the World Cup.

Satafrika should’ve been 3-0 up. They lost a 1 v1 moments ago and the Rwandan keeper pulled an Onana in the resulting corner kick. Luckily, the header was wide off the mark.
