There’s no tricky anything. The odds are well in their favor. We have been piss poor, and you won’t realize how bad things are until you peel the “I-am-a-United-fan” lid off your eyelids.

We have a rookie manager who doesn’t know what he is doing, a disjointed team, and players who are error prone. Now, combine that with the tension of playing for United and the media circus around the club.

Sunderland only needs to stay solid and we’ll gift them one or two goals in our usual manner.

In summary, don’t hope for anything sensible from that match— unless they’ve sacked the coach before then. Things won’t change miraculously.

I know the reason Amorim started Maguire was to leverage his aerial prowess so we can nullify Brentford’s dangerous throw ins and corners. But unfortunately, that same Maguire who is good at headers is very poor when it comes to defending on the half line. The DeLigt that is good in that region is not that dominant in the air.
