While players like Ekitike Haaland Dias Gvadiol Saliba Gabriel who were bought from outside click immediately Were those players physically weak before they came to the EPL? Or did they have enough football intelligence and technique to compliment their physical fraility or not? How will Haaland aka “White Jambody Lukaku” struggle in a physical league? Lol |

andrewbaba44: Oga Matheus cunha found the epl more easier than other leagues he played for despite the physicality
I am sure because of that we can say those leagues are more stronger than the epl ba ,since you no wan agree with me Failed logic. Bad example. Cunha played in BuLi as a teenager and was barely 22 when he played for Athletico Madrid in La Liga. He was nowhere near his peak. And it took him 3 years with Wolves to become the player we all know today. He didn’t “find the EPL easier than other leagues”, like you said. He merely developed as a player and is now hitting new higher levels. No evidence suggests he won’t be Atletico’s main player had he stayed on— cos the grit and talent is there. If you’re talking about players from other leagues who became an instant hit with the EPL, Fernando Torres, Zola, Henry, are better examples. And those are proper ballers with bountiful talents and aren’t easily bullied physically. |

AirBere: True....but!
The EPL is the best league in the world no question about this but it's not an extraterrestrial league. My theory about football is that if you're a good player, you'll perform in any league. May not happen immediately but with time you'll show your level. EPL is best because they have they best players and most of these players were purchased from other leagues. Most of the best players in the EPL are all imports.
Defenders like, Milenkovic, Yoro, Timber, Califiori, Konate, Romero, Van Der Ven, Tomiyasu(pre injury), Ruben Dias, Malick Thaw etc...Dean Huijsen was not a regular at Juventus/Roma until he came to the EPL and bossesd it. Ruben Dias came directly from Portugues league and immediately won the premier league player of the season.
I agree that once you're here, you must step up physically, mentally etc in order to match the level but if you're good/focused, you'll do well eventually.
From Serie A, defenders like Lucumi, Ndicka, Plavlovic, Batsoni, Bremer, Kossono, Isak Hien may not really feel out of place in the EPL. They're physically very dominant with good pace/passing. No disagreements here. You need to step up in one way or another when you get to the EPL, especially if your level is not on par with the league. We’ve seen non physical players excel in the EPL- Mata, Silva, Ozil, etc. But their positioning and football intelligence was on a whole level of its own. This complemented their lack of physicality If you’re good enough, you’re good enough. Surely. But if not, you definitely have to step up. All those upcoming talented defenders in Italy, don’t be surprised if EPL clubs buy them in the next couple of years. The money in the league is gargantuan. |

andrewbaba44: You Kuku don make am easy for me
As writz and so they struggle na so average players like Ekitike and woltemade Dey find am easy
The best players in the epl are still players who came from other leagues ,so make una calm down abeg
Haaland Bruno aguero any many others found it easy than the so called epl experienced players they met there ,should we even talk about defenders who came from other league to become the best in the epl ?
As for Gykores he will surely get good numbers for arsenal at the end ,and I hope you aren’t expecting Portuguese league numbers ,he won’t even get such in the French league
If you are good you are good and you will flourish under the right system ,spare me all these physicality and faster talks
I rest my case Ignoring the physicality and speed of the EPL when almost every imported player (and even manager) have attested to it is just being ignorant. If you are good enough, you will find a way to deal with the physicality and speed, and excel nonetheless. If not, you’ll flop. Simple. |

Roland17: I will respectfully disagree and this is coming from an ardent follower of the Serie A for decades now. Right now, if the comparison is against the EPL, we are still behind. A better argument is that the Serie have a good crop of promising young defenders capable of becoming world beaters in 3-4 years. Defenders like Scalvini (Atalanta), Bartesaghi (AC Milan), Comuzzo (Fiorentina) Kossounou like you rightly put (Atalanta), Pavlovic (AC Milan), EPL teams will buy those upcoming talents |

PDPGuy: Lmao I understand your point. But I’m favor of this proposal if goals will no longer be chalked off because the attacker’s big toe was always of the last defender. The focus will only move to the defender’s big toe or the attacker’s heel. Drama no go finish |

andrewbaba44: I don’t know why someone will say osimhen isn’t epl level
I think that epl level talks should stop this 2025
Even players like Ekitike and woltemade wey I no even rate ,both are finding the epl easy
Is the epl hard ? Maybe yes ,but if you are good you are good under the right system It won’t, and for good reason too. From watching the games you know that theEPL is more physical and faster than other leagues on a whole. To survive, incoming players often have to elevate an aspect of their game, be it physicality, technicality, or even football intelligence. So, while players like Wirtz and Gbokeres struggle visibly (cos they think they’re enough), you see others like Xavi Simmons upping an aspect of their game while the Woltemades and Ekitike thrive. Those last 2 propbably saw the league as a challenge and were prepared to rise to the occasion from day 1. For all the players I mentioned, the jury is still out tho. |
