At 73 am morethan ready to met my maker It is very easy to explain to your sons and daughters that you voted for 73 yrs old man with integrity than to explain that you voted for a middle age man who is an apostle of corruption. |

idumuose: Can we see the letter Buhari personally wrote to the mijnistry of finance. Was he supposed to write the finance ministry or REVENUE MOBILISATION, ALLOCATION AND FISCAL COMMISSION?
Believe this fake letter and believe Nigeria is in the continent of Asia. Very gullible set of nigerians. It was a Nigerian like you and me who said he wrote letter to verify GMB pension and he got such response. As a good Nigerian and strong enemy of Buhari why not take up this challenge to expose this fraud and use it against Buhari since that will be more credible than the current lies you and your team are spreading. |

Assuming for the sake of discussion that he has five years to repay the 27 million loan, which with interest will mean a total repayment of at least N30 million. That means N6 million repayment every year or N500,000 every month.
How much is the CASH pension of our incorruptible General from a government whose MINIMUM wage is N18,000 F.oo.lish.ness can not be celebrated more than this. If you are ignorant of a situation, the best way to kill your ignorant is to ask from those who know better. So the former head of state is on minimum wage scale? |

Don't be lazy, you are a Nigerian you have right to request for information that is not clear to you. Write your own letter to the ministry to proof the guy wrong. He got the position by corrupt means...through the BARREL OF A GUN and he should be thorough to totally reject the pension because it was not lawfully obtained. Murrafucka Can you imagine the mentality of some of our professors on Nairaland? Buhari like other civil servant is entitle to pension because he served Nigeria. By our constitution not by your opinion he is legally entitle to it. If you have proof that the pension they are paying to him is illegal by virtue of our constitution please bring out your fact. |

Some of you shouldn't be allowed to vote, damn too ignorant of the facts. Anybody can say anything. That is why there is need to know the truth. Is it not better to demand for evidence from that person to proof to us that he got that response from the ministry of whatever than to allow somebody to come up with another story he imagine in his head. |

mekaboy: We are talking about an Ex Nigerian soldier. Nigerian soldiers of those days are not like those in America that study courses in other areas of Life. Now buhari is over 70 and last time he served was under Military rule. He has not been tested in any civilian post. Has buhari taken up any responsibility to serve Nigeria under civilian rule? That shows pride, he feels he is above any political appointment and must be president.
Since he left office as a military man, why hasn't he worked with civilian govt? Has he been tested as a civilian? If he loves Nigeria so much why hasn't he gone for senate or minister or ambassador ? Must he be president? We cant risk put an old soldier who has not been tested with any civilian appointment in 70 years to rule Nigeria.
If he truly loved Nigeria,he should have started from governor of a state, minister, senator, ambassador etc. Why must he be a president again? Trust me, he wants to be president because his fellow military men have tested civilian presidency, and he wants to test his. IT not like he has anything to offer Nigeria, its all about his personal and selfish interest. He fills he must be a civilian president before he dies as his mates in the army.
You cannot sit at home after being a military president and wait for Nigerians in this dynamic and global world to make u a civilian president. Serve and a civilian and let us see ur capability before we intrust leadership of the nation to u. We as a nation cant risk that now.
If not for his personal and desperate ambition, why will he want to contest again after he publicly said he wont contest again? Its because of personal interest.Even went as far as claiming he took a loan to purchase the ticket. This shows that buhari is not a man of his words.
LIKE I SAID EARLIER, THIS IS NOT ABOUT GEJ. BUHARI IS NOT A BETTER ALTERNATIVE. We can do better as Nigerians. You have your one vote, use it any how u want it. You have options between Fulani man and ogogora man. The choice is yours, you don't need to tell us all the stories in the world just because u prefer ogogoro man to Fulani. |

Jnrbayerno: 1. They are too young a party to wrest power from the biggest party in Africa- what happened to long term planning?? 2. Their Governors have not performed "above the charts", they are using the performance of defected Governors to shine-we are not blind. 3. The Northerners among them that made the loudest noise about the security situation did not do anything to engage the youths or even invest on their states with all their wealth-we know well. 4. Their possible presidential candidate is an old man and has the notion that his "old way" of solving problems will apply now-Habaaa...because it worked in the 80's doesn't mean it'l work now. 5. They are loud mouthed and make nasty comments-bad leadership quality, the 21st century leader acts, not talks. 6. They sponsored Bring back our girls campaign, deceiving Nigerians to think those in charge cared about the innocent girls-SCAM! 7. They have an "old man" as youth leader, even the youths don't have a place in their plan-na old cargoes go full cabinet, Youths BEWARE!!! 8. They have not told us what's in their govt for women-ah! And they want their votes... I rest my case
Saw this somewhere and decided to share it...wats ur say Nairalanders Whoever you decided to vote for is your right. APC are bad while PDP are criminals. In between the 2, both of us have options. While you chose criminals I decided to go for bad. Your choice is personal, the same way mine is, so we don't need announcement for that. |

What is wrong in sponsoring BBOG campaign. It is only an issue if they are the one that kidnap the girls. They have every right to expose the inefficiency of a sitting government. If they don't do that it mean they are not doing what an opposition do. In fact, they didn't do enough to expose the attitude of this government to how much they appreciate the lives of their citizens. |

The reason for the failure of Jonathan in the next election will be because of the fo.olish.ness of most of his supporters who instead of marketing his program focus on attacking just one man. Unfortunately, for reasons best knowing to God the more they attack this man the more people are sympathetic to his struggle, while my president is losing those who struggle hard for him in 2011.
