PoliticsRe: Gov. Amaechi Slams DSP Alamieyeseigha by LFJ: 2:08am On Sep 01, 2014
lilprinze: screw the immunity and I never said since GEJ is president he is automatically allergic criticisms. Some people just need to be taught how to respect their elders or boss nobody dares insults OBJ like this the way amachi and some politicians has done to GEJ when he was the president. OBJ does not take rubbish from any body the way GEJ is doing.
Sorry, GEJ is not his Boss. GEJ is the president of Nigerian while Amachi is governor of River State. They are both protected under law by given immunity to do what they consider best for their people.
Because of ignorant, most of us feel that president is a god even where he is wrong will must celebrate his foolishness.
PoliticsRe: 2015 Presidential Election: How The Governors Stand by LFJ: 9:04pm On Aug 26, 2014
chukwudi44: . Ask Obj the reason why he remain political slave to the northerner and begger to his ppl to get their favor for his 2nd term election.
If things continue like this, I won't be surprise to see even the so call the friends of Mr president to leave him at the last minute

If OBJ is a slave of the north,it is simply becos he chose to remain so.In 2011 GEJ won convincly without the north.2015 is not likely to be differant
Thank God, u said it is not likely to be different. It can equally be different. Things change, the shoeless man of yesterday now have plenty shoes today. If you study 2011 election by looking at factors that favored GEJ, the question is, are these factors still there? If you remove sentiment, you will know that the current situation is not in his favor. He needs to work more to win the masses to his side.
PoliticsRe: 2015 Presidential Election: How The Governors Stand by LFJ: 6:20pm On Aug 26, 2014
OlusolaWarrior: I agree with your last post but I agree mostly with what Chukwudi44 said. The point here is that INEC has become very credible and reliable and as such the electorates are more empowered now than ever before. Maybe we can be thankful at least that we have a president that has integrity not to interfere in the affairs of the electoral body. State governors are no longer as powerful as they once was. The same goes for the political parties. The people are more powerful now than at any other time in the history of this country.
INEC becoming more credible even make it more difficult for Mr Jonathan. If you think that Hausa and Yoruba so love Mr Jonathan to make him there favorite candidate it means you are a learner in Nigeria politics. In a free and fair election, it is not sure for Mr Jonathan. PDP has never won any clean election, it has always been through manipulation.
PoliticsRe: 2015 Presidential Election: How The Governors Stand by LFJ: 5:54pm On Aug 26, 2014
chukwudi44: I see people did not learn anything from the last two gubernatorial polls in ekiti and osun states. The Governors have little or no influence whatsorever in INEC organised elections. They exercise no oversight fxns over INEC or the security agencies.

Say GEJ will lose in Rivers ,lagos and imo because they are APC states is simply ridiculous.Fayemi was an APC Governor yet he coulld not even win a single local government in the last ekiti guber polls.

If the elections are to be rigged, the governors are powerless to influence it.if it is to be free and fair they cannot force the electorates to vote for their parties either.I stay in lagos and them no born Fashola well to tell me to vote for APC.Lagos itself is to cosmopoplitan to be regarded as solely a yoruba voting block.Anybody who thinks like that is merely deceiving himself. The state have just too many non-indigenes who might not vote alongside the line of the natives.

In imo state ,I can assure you it will take a miracle for APC to secure more than 5% of the votes there
Continue to dream, if it is that easy there won't have been any reason for Jonathan to campaign again. This coming election will be tough for both parties. Those who understand the game of politics know that oga Jonathan is not finding it easy. Ask Obj the reason why he remain political slave to the northerner and begger to his ppl to get their favor for his 2nd term election.
If things continue like this, I won't be surprise to see even the so call the friends of Mr president to leave him at the last minute.

You made the best decision uncle Ikimi. Like Ribadu and many others, I hope to see you join hands with President Jonathan to move the country forward.

whatlyf: Is Cross River in the kitty of the APC?

But the three MOST influential states Lagos, Kano and Rivers states in order of political influence are APC's grin
Thank you, I mean River State.
PoliticsRe: 2015 Presidential Election: How The Governors Stand by LFJ: 7:07pm On Aug 25, 2014
You will never understand how the president is currently feeling until you understand what it means to have Lagos, Kano and Cross River in the hands of opposition.

God have mercy on us, I can no longer pretend that there is is no problem. Things are getting awkward everyday, our youth are losing their minds. Where is our hope for the future when those we are going to rely on for the future suddenly going mad and dancing naked in the sun.
If it is our sin, please forgive us and restore the sanity of mind of our youth.
PoliticsRe: Is Nigeria Better Off As A ONE-PARTY State? by LFJ: 4:00pm On Aug 08, 2014
madamoringo: Is Nigeria better off a ONE-PARTY state? This is what most Nigerians seem to want, a monopoly of power. A monopoly always leads to abuse, it doesn't matter how well intentioned the actors are! The objects of the abuse will be you reading this post, you will be attacked, killed, made to pay 10 times more for a product, have no say, have no choice, your children will be sold as slaves even before they are born! Is that what Nigerians want?
Because you are reasonable, and you think beyond today it is very easy to see the implication of what we are planting today.
Those who could not see it today either for their hatred or love for just one person or because of ethnic or religious reasons will soon cry out when the table turn. Our major problem is our inability to distinguish between personal and national interest.

PoliticsRe: Why my town Ikire,Irewole Local Gov. people 'll Vote Aregbesola For 2nd Term. by LFJ: 2:11pm On Aug 05, 2014
NewNigeriaMind: I was waiting for somebody to point this out to him.
I am from Osun though I was in my home town Ilesa once for a friends wedding.

We keep saying these people in Ekiti are right to choose stomach infrastructure, is survival the ultimate, what about the future.

I prefer APC government for all south west states because we must and should make sacrifices for tomorrow. We should start building those roads, bridges, airports, rail and other major infrastructure now or tomorrow our kids will ask us why we could not sacrifice for them.

PDP is the worst thing that has happened to the south west. I almost wept when listening to Fayemi speech after the election in Ekiti. The man was not sad he lost the election, he was sad his people will choose what they will eat today over their tomorrow.

Awolowo will turn in his grave seeing what the Ekiti people did.
May God continue to increase ur wisdom. With the current thinking of my ppl Gani Feyeinmin must be crying in his grave on how poverty has destroyed our thinking faculty.

Because our youths waste their time engaging in tribal and religion war. While those who understand what future means are already thinking of 30years ahead, our own youths are still talking about aburi accord in year 2014.
