You are now talking. How are we sure of the scope of their audit or their limitations. If they are ready to give their best but those who invite them for audit refuse to corporate what do you think you can do as auditor?

I never said they are special human beings; however, There's no excuse for error...PERIOD If a billion $$$ company pays PwC between $15-25million to audit their books, they have a responsibility to make sure whatever their scope of work is should be error free... They are not the only ones with a difficult job.

I repeat, auditors are not magicians. They audit based on the information you give to them, so if they audit based on inaccurate information given to them their is no way there can be a perfect audit. Not their fault, because they audit based on information given to them. That is why auditors tell you that in the event of additional information especially if it is material there will be re-audit.

Therefore, if there is additional information that precede their audit they can be call upon to do the re-audit or I decided to get another auditor to do it again. Stop given the impression that any audit by PwC cannot be questioned.

Please stop making auditors look like special human beings. Their job is one of the most difficult one, as auditor, the more you look the less u see. For the fact that PwC audited the account does not make it free from error. You audit what they give to you that is the reason while auditors define their scopes and limitations.

As a professional accountant, you are perfectly fit into any organization, even politics. If you decided to become your own master, start from your locality by telling people that you are a professional accountant and this is the way you can add value to their biz. And if you want to work for others, you are already a steps ahead of many who are still struggling to pass the exam. ICAN has less than 50,000 members as at today, we among these 50,000 thousands are dead, retired or no longer in the country so u have a better chance of better opportunities than millions.

The day you commit your money to do it, trust me, your energy will come. The truth is that your life need to be miserable within that period you are preparing for the exams. Your family, friends, and colleagues may suddenly become enemies as they may not want to show understanding.
But the sacrifice worth it.

If you are thinking of career in academic go for MSc, but if you are thinking of professional go for ICAN. If u are strong and you have both more opportunities for you.
