@kenJADE pls what do you mean by 50:50 are u saying 50% 4 d o'level n 50% 4 JAMB. Well dat is not what they did, they still used their 60:40 n they are now paying more attention on putme. If u are admitted this year or know anyone that was admitted calculate d scores very well n u will c dat am right. Kudos |

@sgd I think Zoology should be the best option bc it was 52.9 for d prv year or Botany, that is if u can score 289 upward. Bc botany was 57.9 for the previous year. |
@hopsydboi the subject u choose are ok but it is in between crs or literature-in-eng. |
@Izzyguy u have 55 already u just need to score 200 upward and u are good to go because U.I cut-off 4 pharmacy merit 4 d previous year was 71.5. So u are good to go. |
@sgd this is how U.I calculate their point for O'level and JAMB. For O'level: A1 - 6points B2 - 5points B3 - 4points C4 - 3points C5 - 2points C6 - 1point that is in your 5 relevant subject For JAMB: Any thing u score divided by 10 so now add your O'level points 2gether and times it by 2 anything u score plus it with u JAMB score that have been divided by ten. Then that shows u your chances of qualifying 4 d post-ume. |
@godstino the full meaning of DLC is Distance Learning Centre, it is just like a part-time program. |
Former Head of State, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has said only competent leaders are capable of putting the country on the right path. He said devoting almost the entire budget to security would not bring any result if there was no competence in leadership to know what to do at the right time. Buhari said the bombings that took place in four states in Nigeria on Christmas Day were condemnable. A statement by the spokesperson for Buhari, Mr. Yinka Odumakin, said the former head of state also commiserated with all those who lost their loved ones “in these heinous acts of terror and prays that the Almighty would grant them the fortitude to bear their irreparable losses.” He called on all people of goodwill to condemn these occurrences that had sent sorrows to many families in a festive season. “Bombing other human beings to death at any time is callous. It becomes much more reprehensible on a Christmas day and all lovers of peace must condemn this gruesome acts and demand that the perpetrators be fished out and brought to book, “he said. He expressed worry about the seeming indifference of the Nigerian authorities to these unfortunate incidents. He said, “How on earth would the Vatican and the British authorities speak before the Nigerian government on attacks within Nigeria that have led to the deaths of our citizens? “This is clearly a failure of leadership at a time the government needs to assure the people of the capacity to guarantee the safety of lives and property.” He called on the Nigerian government to rise up to the challenge of security in the country and not to believe that it’s just about voting almost a quarter of the budget to security. “You can devote the entire budget to security and there won’t be any result if there is no competence in leadership to know what to do at the right time,” Buhari said. Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party has condemned the Christmas Day bombings across the country and appealed to Nigerians to eschew violence. A statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Prof. Rufai Alkali, said the party was pained by the bombings and the loss of lives. He said, “We wish to once again condemn in totality this recourse to extremist ideologies in a multi- religious and multi-cultural society such as ours and urge our people to take the path of dialogue rather than violence.” www.punchng.com/index.php/news/item/8908-we-need-competent-leaders-–-buhari |
Bomb blast: A burden we must live with – Jonathan (Jonamumu) We don't have a president in this country. This country is finished, to think that there was intelligence report warning about the likelihood of these attacks over a month ago.The Government still refused to be proactive.what a shame, my honest take is that the whole structure has collapsed,no power,millions of unemployed/ able youths,dwindling economy,terrible infrastructure, the list goes on and on.God,what do we do? |
The useless mr president is talking on how govt will removed oil subsidy insteady of security in nigeria.who is boko haram. |
Let us comment to support revolution in Nigeria Enough is enough! |
@hopsydboi yes u can choose adekunle ajasin uni as ur 2nd choice |
@hopsydboi with this type of outstanding result which after I have calculated it u have 46 already that is if u choose to use c.r.s or 40 is if u choose to use comm but it is advisable 4 u to sit 4 c.r.s in ur JAMB and score 230 upward to assure u of writing the p-utme. Best of luck. |
@godstino UI don't offer predegree they only do DLC and considering the course u want to go for with ur o'level well it is Ok that is if u can score 280 upward in ur JAMB and if u can't score up to that, it is advisable for u to choose a lower course n with 200 upward u are good to go. |

my vote goes out to Lheyhe for his wonderful contribution in this year admission section especially the university of Ibadan thread. Shoutout! To my real Niggers |
@Dr king don't 4get that U.I is a federal school and not a state school so they don't consider indigene and even if they do it is low chance. Ur o'level result is ok but not for medicine and surgery, considering the fact that medicine and surgery is the highest course in the school this year with 80.8 as the cut-off u can choose it if u can score 300 upward in ur JAMB/UTME but it is advisable for u to choose pharmacy or physiology or any other related science course. |

@segnad88 combining two result for UI is not going to pay u it is better 4 u to register 4 another WAEC b4 it is too late. |
@Dr Kings if u will like to choose U.I as ur 2nd choice there is no prob but considering the post I posted the other time that U.I don't allow students to write putme 2wice. |

@segnad88 it varies from each course and where did u get the JAMB score u calculate 2gether to give u 47.2. And mind u 47.2 is just too small to think of doing a good course in U.I and u can use it if only u want to study linguistic, French, Spanish, Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa but if want a good course it is advisable 4 u to register 4 another WAEC b4 it is too late. Best of Luck! |
@Prof.em Universities that accept 2nd choice 1. LASU 2. LAUTECH 3. UNAAB 4. EKSU 5. Kwara State Uni 6. UNIPORT 7. UNN 8. ABU 9. FUOYE 10. OOU 11. AAU 12. FUTO 13. FUTA 14. EKPOMA 15. DELSU ETCetera, |
@busyguy u can use this year waec result for ur U.I admission processes and u are to expect the type of subject u do in ur JAMB 4 d putme. |

@prof.em yes u can choose U.I as ur 1st and 2nd choice if u like but I will advice u to choose U.I as ur 1st choice and choose another school as ur second choice (state uni) because in U.I if u have done the 1st pume u can't do for 2nd choice again. |
