@prof.em U are qualified to choose Mathematics with ur O'level result but try and choose U.I as ur first choice instead of 2nd choice and strive hard to score 240 upward in ur JAMB exam. |

@segnad88 this is how U.I calculate their point for O'level and JAMB. For O'level: A1 - 6points B2 - 5points B3 - 4points C4 - 3points C5 - 2points C6 - 1point that is in ur 5 relevant subject For JAMB: Any thing u score divided by 10 so now add ur O'level points 2gether and times it by 2 anything u score plus it with u JAMB score that have been divided by ten. Then that shows u ur chances of qualifying 4 d post-ume. |
@Emma_esty, and also there is no public relations in UI and as I have said earlier in this thread it is advisable for u to choose U.I as ur first choice. |
@Emma_esty in UI they call Mass. Comm. Communication and Language Art (C.L.A) and if u must choose C.L.A u can't do without litrature which means u can't leave lit-in-eng out and choose c.r.k and there is no International Relations in UI you can check ur brochure for more info. So if u still insist to choose C.L.A that means u should score 270 upward in ur JAMB/UTME exam to assure u of writing the post-utme exam or oral interview. |
@Esthametol the post-graduate form is not yet out u can click on this link for more info pgs.ui.edu.ng/ |
@Kelvinprinzyy I won't advice you to choose unilorin because I know of some1 that choose unilorin last year and scored 80 in his post-ume and he was not still given admission even 1 of my fwend did her post-ume this year and scored 64 and she is still yet to be admitted but there are also some that gain their admission on a platter of gold maybe u too can. And about the religion I don't think they segregate christians in admitting students into their school. Well don't worry ALL WILL BE WELL. |
@Kelvinprinzyy if u wish to choose po-science for 2011/2012 the cut - off is in between 65-69 and with ur o'level result u have 34 already (that is if u choose to do c.r.k in ur JAMB instead of litrature) and u must try and score nothing less that 310 - 350 to guarantee u 31 to 35 which is a slim chance so I will advice u to choose English lang or mass comm. or theatre art and score 260 upward. |

@Kelvinprinzyy with this type of result it is advisable for you to choose an art course that will require c.r.k or choose sociology or po-science u should also try and have good scores in ur JAMB/UTME exam. |
Jamb is out already and I pray we are all going to pass it with high scores. |

THE Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has ordered the authorities of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, to stop the increment in school fees by the immediate past administration and revert to the fees being charged before the increment. This was made known in a release signed by the Special Adviser to the governor on Education, Mr Taiwo Otegbeye. According to the release, the governor gave this order, following the misunderstanding by the authorities of the school of the details of the earlier order for a reduction of the fees by 50 per cent given by the governor. Students of the school wanted government to revert to the old school rate as the proposed reduction by 50 per cent of the immediate past government increment by the school authorities was considered by them as too insignificant, as the amount reduced ranged between N10,000 and N14,000. Mr Otegbeye said that the reduction ordered by governor was a fulfilment of one of his campaign promises to the students of the state that he would cut school fees by half if he was elected the governor of the state. The governor then called a meeting, he said, which had the governor, the Commissioner for Education, the Special Adviser on Education, the Senior Special Assistant on Education, Alhaja Bolatito Adebisi, during which the governor ordered the reduction in the school fees. Otegbeye also said that the polytechnic authorities had earlier complained that the immediate past administration deliberately refused to pay the school’s running grant for two years, thereby starving the school of funds. “Not only did the governor order that there should be a return to the school fees payment before the increment made by the past administration, the governor also told the Commissioner of Education to officially notify the school authorities of this reduction and ordered that the reduction be immediate,” Otegbeye said. Even Ojukwu ran away when he realised the war has been lost as a leader he is ment to sacrifice is own live after a lot of people had died through. AFTERALL HIS MISSION IS UNACCOMPLISHED. But u still have to Rest In Peace. |
All this Igbo's don start again wetin una do wey they take kill over 1 million of u, PStylish:All this Igbo's don start again wetin una do wey they take kill over 1 million of u, Hear wetin u dey talk ''AGBARI OJUKWU'' the strong head wey he do wey they take kill all of una pple. |
Ojukwu was quite a great man, d initiator of Biafran Republic and he would have succeded if not that our Baba Awolowo & d rest do not believe in his cause. And after so many years, Nigeria as a nation has not witness and definite changes instead suffering is on d increase. So, maybe what we need is what Ojukwu architect many years ago, let Biafra be on their own, Arewa to live their lives with their Sharia and Boko Haran and to Odua live in a way it pleases them. We need Confederation in this Country or else there will be revolution which l believe is already grooming up. Baba Awo says before he died, 'it will get to a stage that youth in this country will take cutlass, gun and stick demanding for their rights and northern part will become a battle ground', we are watching. |
@AVB I 've told emma to change is course to ENG. LANG and score 260+ in his JAMB. And him not to choose Law. |
@Emma try n choose UI as ur first choice and choose English - Language as ur course. |
And am sure we all know the type of grades UI require in the o'level depending on ur course and 200+250+270 upward in JAMB. And high score in d PUME. |
