This is Lheyhe, its been quite a while have been on NL, known for useful post on UI thread on Nairaland for the past two years, I created the first UI thread for last year.... welcoming all prospective students of UI... more info. coming up...

YES, I AM INTERESTED IN MODERATING THE EDUCATION SECTION

Hope this story strenghten your
courage. Three very close friends where
seeking admission into higher
institution. In their quest for this,
they both sat for the same exam
and passed but during the
admission processing just like the one we all are facing here, two of
the three friends gained admission leaving only the last guy. In view of that the guy cried his bowels out and was wondering what went wrong. Though consoled by various persons that God has a
purpose for everything, yet he still
believed their was no God factor in it. Eventually he accepted his fate and continued with life. Not up to
about some months when those friend of his gained admission, their
hostel caught fire and the two
friends of his died(sad). It was then
that the boy knew that God had a
divine agenda for him. Not that God
didn‘t have agenda for the two boys that died but may be they
where just unfortunate. LESSON LEARNT FROM THIS STORY:
Never for once think your prayers
are not getting answers from God
because and unanswered prayer to
your admission might be a answer
to your life or future. LESSON 2: In everything give thanks. Remember
some people where giving
admission by UI but they are
dead now or probably died on the
very day the list was released
( imagine somebody that has been seeking admission all this while)
but u are still alive and the God that
did those that were admitted can
still do ours. LESSON 3: everybody
knows this. NO CONDITION IS
PERMAMENT but do your best always and leave the rest for God. Our testimony is on the way. Just a concerned brother having a
feeling somebody is getting
discouraged in here. Yet a little
while the admission will come.

U guys 've a problem right and u kept the truth unsaid just because u are only being opstimistic. But mind u, UI is not like other unis. And 4 ur quote I am not a proud guy am only a radicalist and I thought I should be able to say the truth no matter the condition. And for info. u can still refire and try UI next time their was a guy on this last year that was shortlisted 4 botany last year and he scored 48 but was not admitted and he tried again this year and scored 68 having a better chance of gaining admission.

I wrote this post utme last year.I got 48,I was the 9th person.I wasnt chosen.just go buckle up ur shoes.the questns are cheap.if you read with God,you will be in.

UI will rather prefer to invite candidate that 've not been invited 4 d post ume.

You have to be careful with ur comment and mind u I neva said those that use red or any other background apart from white will neva be shortlisted and to show me ur evidence refer me back to the page and if u don't have any evidence I think u just have to sit down and watch how the drama will be enfold. I don't also claim to be a brilliant student but we just have to say the truth

Lets watch and see what will happen, UI don't need average students, (sorry to say, you can still try again though). Mind this quote MANY ARE CALLED BUT FEW WERE CHOSEN. The truth may be bitter though and that is what also make UI stand out from other schools.

Don't even think of it, UI won't accept anything below 50 even if you change to zoology, fishery or Yoruba. I will urge u to refire and try again next time with better scores

Thumbs UP TO UI And also Thumbs UP TO ALL CANDIDATES THAT SCORE HIGH MARK, YOU ARE ALREADY A STUDENT OF THE GREAT INSTITUTION. And for THE YET TO BE SHORTLISTED CANDIDATE GO AND READ, BECAUSE YOU WILL ALSO BE CALLED FOR ANOTHER POST UME.

FOR ALL CANDIDATES THAT SAT FOR THE POST UME UI WONT ADMIT ANY CANDIDATES THAT SCORE BELOW 50THEY WILL RATHER INVITES THE UNSHORTLISTED CANDIDATES

This year's admission will be the toughest and hardest in the history of UI, inviting 7,000plus for post-ume and eventually admitting like 3,000 even the so called fall back course/change of course for the shortlisted candidate is a means to reduce the candidate because I DON'T KNOW HOW SOMEONE IS GOING TO KNOW THE DEPARTMENT WITH LOW POST-UME SCORES SINCE THEY ARE YET TO WRITE THE EXAM. Also there may be change of course for the yet to be shortlisted candidate. So with all these you just have to wait for the yet to be display DRAMA.

There is new hope for those that were not shortlisted. U can change ur course after they 've concluded the 9th of July exam, the courses will be advertised on their website so u also need to get prepared. The change of course form will be out bcause according to an our source/official at the admission office he said up to 10,000 candidate will be called 4 this year post-ume and we have just 5,000 yet. So if u are still yet to be shortlisted u also need to pray hard and read hard.

The cut off is out but it is too high compare to those that passed JAMB this, especially those in the social sciences.

Let everyone stay calm the list will be uploaded very soon. I am wishing all prospective UITES on Nairaland best of luck. May GOD help us all.
