Family › Re: Age 25 With 1 Million Naira & Living With My Parents: Buy Land Or Pack Out? by Libakabosh: 10:40pm On Aug 20, 2020 |
So far you are comfortable staying with your parents, keep staying with until like a year or two years to get married. Reason is for you to invest enough money to ensure guaranteed security in case anything happens to your job. Invest on secured financial investments with much fund as you can. Don't be in a hurry to move out because you may end up running a cat race the rest of your life. As for land, it depends on the appreciable nature of lands in your place and the availability any time you need it. Most of the people advising you to move out now honestly are doing so because an average human being love it most when a responsible guy starts misbehaving... Reason they do that, nobody knows. CuteVally: Good evening Nairalanders.
Please i need an advice on the next step i should take in life. I am a guy, 25 years of age and still living with my parents, though i am not jobless but recently my bank account just hit one million and 200 thousand naira.
So my parents are advising to buy a landed property in my home town that will take about 900 to 1 million naira. But the thing is that i am 25 and i feel at my age i should no longer be staying with my parents, so i want to rent a flat and furniture it to my taste, i feel it is time to move on, i need my freedom to finally face life like a man.
So my question is, should i purchase a landed property at 25 and continue living with my parents or pack out and start my Adult life. Note: i am not jobless". |

Family › Re: My Boyfriend Is On The Verge Of Leaving Me. Help! by Libakabosh: 7:46am On Aug 17, 2020 |
I am sure there is a part of brain of young people that get blocked while growing. So in your normal sense, you lie to your parents to allow you go see a stupid guy that sees spending money in a hotel as unnecessary yet has spent that much to prepare his bedroom for free sex. But when you get pregnant tomorrow and he abandons you, you will still run back to your parents. If you want sex, get married, live the idiot and don't even pick his calls until he apologises for putting you into such avoidable corner...he is just after your body, he does not love you at all. That your parents prevent you from being promiscuous is a sign that you have great parents and believe it or not, from the day you start disobeying them on immoral issues like this, that's the day your life becomes miserable. Heartheart: Hi I just needed to bring this here. I am 22 years of age and I am not happy at all. My boy friend and I are in a long distance relationship. Not long perse. He is in lagos while I'm in abeokuta. I served in lagos so that's how we met and we got to spend quality time together.
Now since I've passed out I've been at home. I passed out in June. So it's been June that we saw last and now we're in august. He has been disturbing me to come visit him as it has not been easy staying alone, loneliness and all. I promised to visit him next week which also happened to be my birthday week. I have super strict parents but I still promised I will find my way.
I told them (parents) that I was travelling to visit a friend (girl). I could not tell them it was my boyfriend I was going to see because I knew deep down they wouldn't allow me travel to another city to see a guy. But my parents have blatantly refused that I cannot visit this girl. I had to tell my bf that I was not going to come. He was so sad and angry and he let me know he has wasted a lot of money preparing to surprise me for my birthday. He was so excited to see me and he had made a lot of plans. He told me he was disappointed in me and he doesn't think he can continue a relationship like this. Yes he comes to abeokuta sometimes but he mostly lodges in the hotel. He told me he can't continue lodging in the hotel that if I love him I will make effort. I tried to convince my parents they did not gree. Imagine, I told them I wanted to see a gf that they knew and they refused. What if I had told them he was a guy.
Pls guys how do u advise me to save my relationship, I'm in a tight spot right now and really sad. |

Crime › Re: Man Kills And Buries His Best Friend In Ebonyi Because Of N3m Million (Photos) by Libakabosh: 10:45am On Jan 25, 2020 |
Wisdomkosi: SHOCKING!!! Ebonyi Man Kills, Buries Best Friend Because Of N3m (Photos)
A Nigerian man from Ebonyi State who killed his best friend because of 3 million naira and buried his corpse in farm has been caught by the police.
Igbere TV gathered that the man who wanted to run was arrested and led the police to the place he buried his friend's body.
The man's body was already decaying by the time it was dogged out.
According to report, the man confessed that he killed his best friend out of greed, because he wanted to take all the money by himself.
Meanwhile, the two best friends won a contract they have been working so hard for. But who it eventually clicked, one wanted it all for himself and had to kill his friend, to take the money.
Source : http://igberetvnews.com/1291024/shocking-ebonyi-man-kills-buries-best-friend-n3m-photos/ Worst report I have ever seen in my life. Even the OP is not alright. How can you report an incidence like this, no name, no location, no anything. Just one man, friend, Ebonyi, useless people. Gutter news media. Olodo reporter...and tribal bigots that can't even think for themselves before they comment. They just want to respond to useless unfound post just because of hatred they harbour against a people. Education › Re: B.sc Finance To M.sc Accounting by Libakabosh(op): 10:32am On Jan 23, 2020 |
Smartchoiice: You can be a lecturer in Accounting. With your stated qualifications. HND Accountancy, BSc Finance and MSc Accounting. With MSc finance you can teach in the Department of Accounting, but with MSc accounting it'll be difficult to teach in finance department. Thank you so much, meaning having B.Sc in finance and not Accounting cannot hinder me from becoming a lecturer in Accounting department so long I have M.Sc Accounting. But do you know if most schools can give you M.Sc admission to study Accounting when you have B.Sc in Finance |
Education › B.sc Finance To M.sc Accounting by Libakabosh(op): 10:23am On Jan 23, 2020 |
Dear professionals, please help me out.
Does Ignatius Ajulu University of Education Port Harcourt admit students with B.Sc Finance(above 4 points) to run M.Sc Accounting.
Secondly, Can I become a university lecturer if I have HND Accounting, B.Sc Finance, M.Sc Accounting and ICAN.
Should I stick to M.Sc Finance since I already have ICAN. Although I can't really do this now since the school I am trying to enroll for M.Sc does not offer M.Sc in Finance...that is IAUOE.
Or do you know any other university in Rivers State or Abia that runs academic masters(courses excluding project) within one year(part time).
If mod takes this to front page I will appreciate because I need to take decision urgently. |
