MayorofLagos:
I dont like Ibo because my wife, Ada Chinyere hates Igbo.

Two years ago this month mama Chinyere was going to village and she called me to the side and say Mayor I need you to save my children from my people. I said wetin happen? I thought the Ibo guys in Idunmota are harrassing her family, but that was not it. Her husband is deceased. She has three daughters and one son. She said Mayor my family are nobody for my fatherland. Thats when i began understand what osu is.
She say Mayor if you see Chinyere you go like am. So I knew where she was going. She needs a future for her children and does not see Ibo as a part of their future. She wants them to bear the seed of Yoruba. The last born is graduating high school next year. The mother took em all out of school in Imo for fear they would be turned to baby factories. My Chinyere is in LASU. Her mother is impatient and wants her to get pregnant before she finish study.

I will wipe Ibo out of Nigeria. It's a must you return to Congo where your pygymy forefathers came from. You have caused too much pain in this country and you are not wanted here any more. Soon as 2nd niger bridge is completed im marching in....I guarantee you! angry angry

Yepa.

Just figured it would be nice to create a thread like this to aid new secondary school leavers who wouldn't want to pass through the hassles and disappoints encountered through jamb.

I assume everyone here knows what we mean by IJMB and how it runs. IJMB students at various states/institutions are highly welcomed here. Let us share the experiences and challenges we face just to scale through this program and be promoted to 200L

I rep UNIUYO(abak campus). Mechanical Engineering(ijmb)

No no no no

For starters, most schools offer this discipline as agricultural and bioresource engineering, agricultural and biosystems engineering, agricultural and biological engineering etc.

the reverse is actually the case, if any of the 2 disciplines should be boring, it's mechanical engr'g.

agricultural engineering has various major specializations like:

Power and machinery Engineering - this is the mech part

Soil, Water and Structural Engineering

Food Engineering

Environmental Engineering

Bioprocess Engineering

Biomedical Engineering

Food science and Technology
et cetra

This discipline is the broadest engineering discipline
thanks bro. But in terms of job prospect, which is better?

Because that is what you will be doing in agricultural engineering and much of statistics which is really cool but may bore you. Also mechanical is wide and offers you more options than needed for you to have asked this question because you can become an agricultural engineer flawlessly.
thanks a million

Please help a bro.

I'm very much in love with these two courses but I'm torn between them as I don't know which to go for.

Please which of them would you advise me to go for with respect to job prospect.

Also, can an agricultural engineer work in place of a mechanical engineer? Thanks

Hi bro..you can consider studying abroad, there are countries where this is available and affordable, the cost of which is even below what is available in some private university in Nigeria- with a little to spend for a start. There are also opportunity for scholarship and university part time student assistantship jobs with some little stipend. Dont give up on your dreams, all doors are not closed yet.
A step in the right track should change your story forever...
enlighten me. Which country are you talking about?

Okay.

Having gotten used to the popular nairaland cliche, "I schooled in france". I was having a conversation with my lecturer and he asked me if I know of one prof.clement and my reply was terrible.

Lecturer : Do you know of professor clement?

Me : Is he a musician? I don't know this because I schooled in...... I was about saying france before it occured to me that I was talking to a lecturer. I then resorted to using filler words. Though I got the bashing of my life, I'm not pained cos it would have been worse if I'd said "france" angry.

This "I schooled in france" should stop.
