[quote author=bankyh1905 post=85094258]You know I was not going to say anything until I realized you have had the same questions answered by someone else @Jaybye. You and I have thrashed these questions over several email exchanges. When I saw your posts, I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt and thought "maybe, I didn't help him enough" but I'm sure I did. I took my time, including preparing a sample document for you, so you wouldn't have to come back here. Now, I found out you have had private convos with @Jaybye also. You should know that you coming back here to ask these questions belittles our contribution when your appreciation was deemed a sign of "problems solved", because you did move on to other questions, many of which have been answered on this thread. Put yourself in our shoes for a moment. In case you don't know, your posts were beginning to spam the thread. When people don't respond to your posts, it's not necessarily because they didn't see it, it's because they don't wish to answer.

What more can I say? It's well with you in this journey and may you find the answers you seek.

Smmiles:
After 5 attempts and 1 free attempt, finally kicked IELTS ass.
Didn’t even study for the last attempt cause I was tired of always writing it.
It was expensive having spent 75k five times but hey God dey.
What kept me going was the annoyance of driving through Lagos traffic EVERYDAY!!!! and the BS that goes on in this country on a regular. I was just determined not to be in this country by this time next year.

PLEASE THIS IS URGENT.....
I worked as a warehouse manager at Ladipo for a coy tht import tyres from Germany and below were my roles when i was with them;

a)I plan and evaluate the operations of establishments that is engaged in wholesale and retail sales of tyres
b)I oversee operational logistics of the organization, establish work schedules and procedures (i plan the transportation of goods to our various outlets from the warehouse and also to customers who have ordered telling each driver where to go make delivery and also the quantity of goods to be delivered)
c)I respond to customer requests and queries
d)I oversee the hiring and retention of staff members at the warehouse
e)I also assign and review our secretary's work by issuing an error free receipt to customers
F)I determine goods and services to be sold at a particular price and create credit policies as we do give a reasonable level of credit purchase to our known customers

I dont know if i should go with NOC 1215 which is warehouse manager or stick to 0621 which is Retail and wholesale trade manager also im a single dad so would be filling the EE with my fiancee(not the mom of my child tho) so i dont know what evidence we will need to present to prove we are actually common law partners...

Congrats on ur IELTS sucess...What materials will u recommend??

hillony:
IELTS✓ CLB10
ECA✓ Done with PEBC. Report retrieved days ago.
Currently among those that look forward to draw soup (as Eraytee calls it) every fortnight Wednesdays.

A point of note to those carrying out their evaluation with PEBC, when you get the mail from them, just have it in mind that your ECA should be ready a month after that. The representative from PEBC told me that my Report should be expected two months from the date of the mail. After waiting for the two months and thereafter contacting them, I was told that it had been completed a month ago and sent to NIPOST. NIPOST just sat on it all those weeks instead of delivering it. So a month after you get your confirmation mail, ensure you enquire from them about the stage and request the tracking number in the case that it has been sent down.

Hello everyone, thanks to everyone who has been helpful one way or the other with infos...I have few ques and i will be glad if y'all can help me with answers...I worked as a supervisor at a warehouse at Ladipo for 5yrs bf i left for my MBA 2yrs ago which i finished this yr Aug so here are the questions:
1...What would be my NOC as my duties involved making sure our goods(tyres) from Germany got to our warehouse at Ladipo from tincan and i supervise the sales of those goods and also when we hv orders frm our notable retailers i made sure our drivers deliver the goods to them and also supervise the clerk/secretary work to make sure the receipt issued are correct and free of error...IMO im thinking of selecting NOC 1215 which is a supervisor manager please help out if im right and if not kindly suggest a suitable NOC for my duties mentioned earlier
2...I used the CRS tool to calculate my eligibility and with assumed IELTS score of LSWR 8/7/7/7 i ended up with smthing ard 461 so i wld like to knw the docs that may be required if im using a marital status of 'common-law partner' as there is no marriage cert cuz we r nah married yet so how do we prove we are common-partners??
Thank y'all and may it be easy for us all

Prices are within 1000 to 1700 rands for Return ticket. The trip is about 18hrs with public transport buses and they have stop overs for you to refresh
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by LIFE101: 10:21pm On Apr 07, 2019
Hello thnks for your response is it possible for us to talk aside on here??
geekybabe:
Many unis offer Dba, but they mostly offer it under their school of business. WITS, UCT, Uni of Pretoria and UkZN have school of businesses that offer DbA. Just that it’s quite competitive.

Some schools will even allow you to do PhD with your MBA.

morning bruh and i found out nelson mandela biz sch is offering DBA...So wah do u think??
Iamgrey5:
Maybe the province of Free state or Eastern Cape, but I doubt there will be any offering DBA outside those provinces I mentioned earlier.
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by LIFE101: 7:00pm On Apr 04, 2019
k thanks i appreciate..I checked universities offering dba in Sa but non actually is located in these provinces Western Cape, KwaZuluNatal and Gauteg...Mind sharing other province that are not too expensive for a student planning a modest lifestyle??
Iamgrey5:
R10k should be more than enough for those provinces I mentioned if you plan to live a modest life.
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by LIFE101: 6:15pm On Apr 04, 2019
Thanks bro for ur awesome contribution...I sure appreciate..Well my MBA is a professional one thats why i want to go for DBA after im done this Aug...Anyways i plan on living a modest life when i come over there...The cities u mentioned can u give a range of living expenses there??Someone said i might be cool on R10k monthly budget...Thnks once again
Iamgrey5:
I saw your pm earlier and I am sure you want some answers to some of the questions you raised.

1) I am pretty sure your MBA is an academic one not a professional one for you to want to further to the DBA level. I am not entirely sure of schools that offer DBA in Sa, but a quick google search with the key words "university that offer DBA in South Africa" should do the trick

2)Provinces like Western Cape, KwaZuluNatal and Gauteg are awesome for students but probably also expensive.

3) No one can estimate the money you will require for the duration of your studies in Sa accurately until you secured an admission into a university. Also keep in mind that cost of living varies with taste of the individual involved and also varies from province to province

4) It is possible that you might get a part time job while doing a post grad course in sa but it is not guaranteed. Hence, I will advise you to come with your own money so that you will not get stranded.

Hope I helped, Good luck!
