3 and half cups of Garri for N1000?

I think at this point dying is the best option. Even people that are up to 85 years old have said this kind of hardship never happened in Nigeria before.

Who did I offend in this country? I didn't vote for Tinubu but look at what I'm suffering today.

I don't think I can bear this any longer. After all i saw a video of Buba Galadima telling hungry Nigerians who cannot cope with Tinubu goverment to "die. I think he was referring to me.

Someone that is still looking for a job? How do you want me to survive in this?

Honestly I'm tired.

CrimeAt What Point Does Armed Robbery Become The Only Option? by Life2ways(op): 8:09pm On May 08, 2024
A gang of 7-man robbers robbed my street last week, collecting phones and other valuables from more than 10 people. I learnt they even forced the victims to transfer money to a certain untraceable account.

My question is, how did people become armed robbers? Like you resorted to doing armed robbery than any other legitimate hustle?

God knows I have been in very terrible situations but resorting to armed robbery never crossed my mind for once.

So why others?

What about so many other things you could run legally to still earn money? Why armed robbery?

I lost one of my friend , a very hardworking Igbo guy to death this week. He had kidney issues, he came all the way from the east, he struggled, work so hard and was just getting out of poverty when death snatched him away. He had kidney disease and left a young wife and a baby. We did our best, just wondering how the wife would cope. So sad in this perilous time.
Sad one. May his soul rest in peace

Check on someone who is unemployed today. He may be thinking the fastest way out.
Jobs/VacanciesJob seekers, how are you coping job hunting in this extremely hardship period? by Life2ways(op):
There's no doubt that life is far harder for unemployed people in Nigeria this period than ever before.

In the midst of no cash inflow, high cost of transportation, no food and clothing, yet one has to stay alive. Imagine when an unemployed/job seeker could buy N100 bread, Akara N50 (A&B), then a bottle of coke or even sachet water for N10 and that is enough for him to go job hunting and return, costing N150 or less than N200.

Today, the least bread in town is N250 and the size is smaller than anything you can imagine. The least Akara is N100 and it's smaller than a bottle cover and a sachet of water is nothing less than N30 (let's forget about coke). Na rich people dey drink that one now.

Yesterday, with hunger, hardship and heat, while job hunting, you needed to see me trekking on the road and sweating profusely because I couldn't afford transport fare. As if that was not enough, i still got home with nothing to eat.

Surely, when you combine hunger and heat, the end may be "wetin no good". That is my present condition. I pray God helps me and very very soon because it's not easy at all especially this period.

Other job seekers, how are you coping this period, combining heat, hunger and hardship? Should we give up in life or keep pushing?

May God help us.

These days, it's even easier for people to meet online than offline for various purposes including jobs and this great forum, is one of such wonderful platforms.

Undoubtedly, some nairalanders are gainfully employed while others are still looking for what to do to earn a living.

Without feeling entitled for any assistance, I'm creating this thread for nairalanders in position to help to meet with those who need help (basically job).

I happened to learn that in 2021, one nairalander brought a survey job from the western world and introduced same to fellow nairalanders, and so many people worked and benefited from the survey work.

Some have also gotten offline and online jobs from this forum.

As a nairalander, please bring an opportunity to a fellow nairalander to earn a living from it.

If this happens, it will go a long way in creating means of survival, reduce depression and suicidal thoughts in our country.

Already, this country so hard for those who are earning. Much more imagining those who are not?

Please let's be our brother's keeper and create a way for the jobless/unemployed to work and earn.

What are you earning from? Can you bring a fellow nairalander onboard to also find his/her daily bread?

I'm one of those who need opportunity to work and earn.

I pray this thread become a point of breakthrough for some people including myself.

May God bless us all.
