Initially it was AMC movie Africa of startimes.

Now , it's MBC Arabia package available as DTH signal,, that is off due to illegal retransmission.

How can they think that retransmitting AMC movie for free on a small dish will work, knowing fully well that the subscribers of the same content get it on the same 60cm dish....ko le work na!

Now all those enjoying MBC on small dishes will be without entertainment.

Imagine that Nigcomsat is rebroadcasting NTA channels, people's tv illegally from startimes located at 10e Cband...shame!!!

Next it will be trybe TV, televista TV of 60e Cband

i have an issue guys..... hotbird isnt stable on my 4.4m dish, canal sport 1 dosent come up during the day....bt once its 6pm it gradually pops up to 69% and above as the day goes dark....where are my getting things wrong

Fibre dish I guess....
1) Lnb type- consider trying another Lnb..fibre is quite selective
2) Refoiling- if the surface foil is bad, refoiling will give u 2-4% increase that will make the signal stable.
3) Avoid going to tweak the dish so much.

Download the RAR application tool on ur laptop or desktop. Then use it to unrar the SW. The unrar file will be in.bin format which is what the receiver will accept .

Actually, it didn't go off.. signal strength was reduced.

Initially it was 97% on my dish.

In the afternoon today, it was 75% and I was wondering

After coming online and seeing the comments, I checked and it's still green at 77%.

No they ain't back.
I doubt if they will as the reason for locking up those channels is nigcomsat; which was rebroadcasting illegally.
Till date, nigcomsat is still illegally rebroadcasting "baby TV" which from the same provider.

The provider intentionally left baby TV unlocked to monitor nigcomsat but they are not getting the drift.

I have personally complained on nigcomsat forum to stop illegal rebroadcasting the signal but all fell on deaf �.

I am using this platform to tell them as I know the guys working there also visit this forum.

Please why cant I track MBC stuffs on 26'e on my decoder with did dstv dish I don't know if its 60cm but is d blue dstv dish.
I decided to track it since tstv is not working , am only hitting green on 19.2 degree east astra tps

It's very very and very unlikely to hit astra 19.2e with 60cm dish.
Most likely u are hitting 36e with the frequency posted

@ALL, just to ask...what is the expected signal strength of the following on 60cm dish?

1) Channels on 10972 (e.g Dubai one, nollywood tv) on 60cm dish pointed to 3west

I got max of 49% at night and 44-45% during the day

2) Channels on 11060V8332 ( My movie, Real black 1&2) ?
Got 45-48%

3) 11158 v1553...Got 52%

4) Got both ETV Hyde park feeds at 44%

Is any one getting eutelsat 70b @70.5e together with Is20 @68.5e using one lnb pls indicate the size of dish you are using.

Not possible with one lnb in our horizon as 70.5e beam is fringe if you are referring to the" wide" beam.
The African beam + 68.5ku may be possible with a 1M dish.

However, on my 3.5M motorised dish, I get both 68.5e Cband and 70.5e ku on the same dish position.

Also 66e Cband (without fibreglass), 68.5e ku and 72.1e Cband(with fibreglass) on the same dish position.

Amc movies and other channels in nigcomsat has been scrambled,is anybody experiencing same?

They were retransmitting the channel illegally from 8west Cband on startimes package.

It has been free for over two years free but now Nigcomsat has spoiled the show for everyone.. startimes locked up all the free channels including Natgeo wild, Trace Africa, Trace Nijja, MTV base etc

The 1hp rating is for the compressor only - other elements e.g blower fan e.t.c may consume additional power.

On my 6 year old 1hp AC, it was common to see power draw up to and above 1kw.

When I switched to the 1hp inverter AC, it draws about 1kw in normal mode (ramps up gradually from about 400watts so you don't get that surge effect) but when you activate Gen Mode, it goes as low as 500watts (again ramps down gradually).

My current usage is to keep a constant temperature of 24°C and run 'Jet Mode' for 1 hour between 8 and 9pm for rapid cooling then 'Gen Mode' from 9pm to 7am in the morning

After feeling the cool of the LG inverter at work, I think the info from different people that the gen mode does not cool much is not exactly true but as you pointed out above, it may not be as icy and chilly like the Ac mode...but you will know that AC they blow you well in gen mode

so i went to check out the lg 1hp inverter ac, i was not impressed by the specs written on it..even though it had a sticker screaming 70% savings in energy consumption, am still wonderin hos possible this is based on the energy nameplate.

lg 1hp inverter ac cost 129k, normal 1hp ac = 104k naira
normal consumption = 800w
max consumption= 1200w,

so where then is the energy savings??, would appreciate reall world figures from a current user

The one in PH replied my mail while the Lagos one is yet to after 2weeks.

Now Oga earthrealm, the performance is not bad ooh, after getting the prices above, my friend decided to buy the 1hp LG inverter AC and I was surprised by the performance....on a 24v-2kva system, it took 8hrs for the battery(200Ah x 2) to drop from 25v to 24v.

Initially wanted him to go for daikin inverter AC but couldn't source locally
