This ircama3 will one day be brought down on my 2.4m dish .I won't relent.
I think I have a problem with ur tracking frequency... 10996

My highest is 10992 instead of 10996.

I have my reservations on 2.4M nailing hotbird in Abuja but its not impossible

More skills needed.... With big dish
2.4M anywhere in naija should bring down 9e.

Rub minds and skills with a nearby installer to see where u are getting it wrong.

U may need to just hands off and watch a different installer try so u can identify ur error.

I will suggests u perform the "restricted tracking" protocol...as follows

Track 5e Ku and mark the point on the ground (I just place a small stone) , then

Track 7e ku, and also mark the point. Then change ur lnb to C band, then

Track 10e Cband and again mark it.

U will Observe the distance between 5e and 7e is lesser than the distance between 7e Ku and 10e Cband

9e will be restricted to the interval between 7e and 10e Cband and closer to the 10 e Cband.

Lastly change ur lnb back to Ku and nail 9e....

NB: be patient!
Cheers

@Life707, when scramble what do they show on that Feed 1&2 now. It's almost 4 months I checked it last.
When unscrambled, past matches and mainly live Bundesliga matches.

I believe they also show EFL and FA cup and in English.

I got lucky to watch the last season's FA cup final which I posted the pictures.
Its a funny feed coz they show everything inside the locker room of the players before the match, then even after the match.

I made some effort to see if I could get a device that can generate d keys but discover that for feeds, its more difficult than unscrambling regular channels as most gurus said due to changing VPID, APID etc for feeds, a device that autorol won't work.

It requires a dedicated satellite PCI card and a PC with at least 4gig ram and will take several hours.

Tried laying my hands on a specific type on eBay but had to let it be.

You don't need a dielectric inside, just remove it.For easy tracking, track Sirius 4.8E with 12015V/H29999,thereafter remove your ku-band lnb and replace with the c-band lnb and track Thor 1W with 4175V/H28000.You will certainly hit green. For my pictures, flip this thread like 3 to 5pages back to see also.Enjoy
I thought it is a circular Cband that requires dielectric plate.

Mine was tracked with dielectric inside.
Other details of tracking u gave is on point

Thanks you for your quickly reply.
I have a superjack actuator. If I understand well no need for me to configure these values?
On the other hand, if I make my adjustments correctly on my antenna, with my superjack 24" can I follow on the arc of the satellites all satellites visible from my home to know 83 ° E to 78 ° W?
On the arc is it possible to receive with my lnb both linear and circular polarizations in Cband?
If u are in Nigeria, ur horizon is from 78.5E to 37.5W depending on how heavy ur dish is and the ability of ur actuator to move the dish

It is possible to get both the linear and circular polarization of Cband as long as the dish is on the arc and u have two Cband lnbs on the dish with one having the dielectric plate and the other without it

hello bigrovar,
you're very much on point. the july-august rain belt is proving to be an especially hard one to swallow most especially
with the weather pattern this year. some days even with my over 7kw solar array i'm barely able to generate 5kwhr
total production. i'm only now beginning to realize that i actually need more panels to tide me through the dark days.
but again, like you said, oversizing has its limits.
i was talking to someone early this afternoon and i said putting out more panels on a dark cloudy day with zero sun is
akin to lining up empty plastic buckets to fetch rain water. even if you have 1000 buckets lined up, if there is no drop of
rain you realize nothing at the end of the day. same thing goes with solar. a million panels stretched out on your roof
with zero sunshine will yield zero kilowatt-hours!
In Jos where I stay, even when there is no rain, there will be no sunshine for up to 3days, so for most of us that live off grid, we use two systems with an automatic change over running a 14/10hr shifts.

The rationale is to rest one set and get better charging while the other set manages d little daylight to power the house.
We observed that no matter how many kwatts of PV u have, as long as d system runs for 24hrs, during this period, the battery drains faster because the depth of charge is not sufficient to make the batteries float.

Thus necessitating two system up.

The PV I bought from you were to augment my second system.

With ur 7kw system, a split into 4.5kw and 2.5kw will be helpful.
U will be surprise what the 2.5kw system can do at night when it has all the time to charge all day with little sunlight and settle before coming on to take over from the 4.5kw system that charges and work at the same time during the day.

Just thought to share my experience.

Hi Life
Seeing this here and reading abt someone saying you r selfish is sad.

Congrats. U shd link me with a good installer here in accra, Ghana. My installer is not very very good, even though i muat admit, he is doing great at the moment.
My 3m mesh dish is going bad and its under used. I I wish somehow i could track the ir cam 3 channel on 13e.

Any advice? My installer only tells me 13e here in ghana and on 3m mesh, is not possible. Please advice.
Generally, for Ku band and off footprint (fringe) satellite like 13e, ur best bet is a pan dish ( metal or Fibre).

I am in Nigeria & don't know any installer in GH.
Your mesh 3M can be used to try nailing paksat @38e using Cband Lnb

To d best of my knowledge, life07 use BUD 3m and he lives in Jos Nigeria. in Jos they have greater advantage over us that are living in other part of Nigeria in terms of satellite receptions.in Jos some are still receiving full nilesat on 1.8m dish.so that sat he got newly ,is from his 3m dish.so I guess if u want to track it in another part of Nigeria ,u need more than 3m.that's my take or opinion.
Receiving full Nilesat on 1.8M in Jos is an incorrect assumption. Its not based on fact.
Kaduna, kano, Bauchi all have better reception than Jos.

Someone on this forum once asked, how is it possible I get a lot of sats on my 3.5M BUD, and I told him, for every out of fringe signal I bring down, it takes several weeks and even months of tweaking.
It took me almost 7months to bring down PTV on 3.5M in my location, others have been unable to till date with similar dish size in Jos.
What I get on hotbird, others here in Jos can't pull down with 3.7-3.8M
I brought down the whole of 4W beams and some 3E beams of turksat on my 3.5M after about 2weeks of tweaking, even with 4M, a lot of installers in Jos are still struggling.

What's my point....its easy for u to sit with ur phone and type anything but those that do the hardwork are labelled as "Hiding knowledge ".

Its my fault that I posted the picture that started all these hullabaloo.... Many here are watching their matches on hispasat and hotbird with their account and are quiet....and are not called names....its funny!

My post is only to inform the serious minded...and not lazy people who can't even "google'...their names.

My posts are also not for people that just "log in for the moment" and ask all sort of funny questions that was answered by the post immediately above their question.

My posts are not meant for those that for keep reminding "us" that if its not on 60 -90cm dish, its not FTA

My posts are not meant for those that lie about tracking a particular satellite TV at one point, and at another point start asking how many metre dish can track the same signal several months later

These are all disclaimers to my posts!!!
