Use channels TV frequency on intelsat904@60e.
It has the highest % on that sat.

Tweak ur Cband lnb to 1 O' Clock position with the Teflon inside it

Guru's in the house i need your assistance i'm in Southern Africa and Zambia to be specific. I'm failing to capture intelsat 17, intelsat 902, 904 despite the fact that i'm getting intelsat 906 very clearly, what would i be doing wrong? i'm equally getting Arabsat 5A.

What dish size do you have?

Here in Nigeria, u need at least 2.4m dish to nail intelsat17@66e and Intelsat 904@60e.

Intelsat 906 and Arabsat5a are easily nailed with 1.8m dishes

bro hw do I go about it with my Strong srt 4329 decoder....is it to download the autorol software or wat?

Go buy an Autorol receiver

SRT 4950H
Qsat
Tiger
And many more cheap chinese ones.

Kindly Google price or ask for price where u bought ur SRT 4329.

If u want to make enquiry about satellite issues, kindly use the free to Air general thread.

This thread is for football announcement

Thank you

Lucasinho:
Strong srt 4329 decoder dat is my Decoder...am a novice, i dnt understand...is autorol a software or hardware....hw is it done?

Autorol receiver is a satellite receiver with inbuilt software that enables scrambled signals to be decoded automatically.

Autorol software is a software inputed into a compatible receiver to enable it decrypt or descramble locked satellite signals

Thus, keys or codes used to descramble satellite signal are not manually inputed.

It has the advantage of enabling stress free viewing of scrambled signals with rapidly or frequently changing keys

hi all
need a quick advise, is it there a type of iron I can buy to use with my 12v 1.2kva inverter?

In addition to using the regular philip iron shown by kiekie, I will advise you use it on a 24v setup rather than your 12v set except your battery is 2v/500h x6 = 12v/500h.

abohwun:
I try to track sp24 west but there was no signal with 2.6m local made dish but there was no signal. I use 3777H /V 3777 but there was no signal what could be the problem any suggestion? because I have been doing it with 1.8m foreign made. I am in zaria.

Ur focal point is the problem.
For locally made dish, it's not straight forward like the foreign one.

Get someone who is familiar with the local dishes and u will learn a lot

Setting the focal of large locally made dishes is done on the floor with out any pole or base... Using ku band
Very long story...
Just get an installer

boss stop confusing the guy. He posted about not receiving Badr 26e using 12284H/V 27500 on his MultiTV (JoyTV) LNB as there are reports of it being received.

And you posted of a friend who received it 11559V/H 27500 which is on another satellite different from what he posted about.

Welcome back.... I hope it's the Microgiant before before

I just nailed down PTV SPORT and PTV NATIONAL for my client today on 2.4M MOTORISED DISH.It is very good to give a trial to something, after years of running away frm this bird as a result of wrong info about its coverage beam or dish size.i'm so glad i brought the bird down.Another good option for SPORT24HD.FREE TO AIR STILL RULES................Live frm ABUJA

This is pushing the frontiers of satellite tracking...
Impressive info for a motorized 2.4M.

Please I will request you post pictures to encourage others.

Spacetrotter:
I presume we should track with c-band LNBF with no di-electric plate. Am I right?

Yes.

You can close down to the satellite position by first using ku lnb to track DSTV position @ 36e.Then u can change to Cband lnbf to complete the job

FTA update

Liv vs Man U.....live on PTV National

DoctorHindus:
Nice one bro. I once tried tracking it wt 2.4 in nasarawa state but was unsuccessful. I ll try it again someday.

Issoryt.

I will encourage you to get either a Strong or a Powersat Cband lnbf .
I also tried several times last year before finally nailing PTV after 2months.
I had to change my lnb from one useless type of Supermax to powersat lnb.
I had only one strong Cband lnbf which was used for the Circular satellites, so I got the Supermax for the linear satellites but it was inefficient.

Your skew should be at 1 O' clock position

eddyline:
sometime back I tried nailing this bird but didn't record any success on a 2.4. if you give me some tips I'd be glad to try it once more.

Hi, long time @eddy.

The higher frequencies on my side are
Capital TV....4184V2815...@72%
VTV1,2,3......4162V6922...@77%
Ajk-tv............3984V2893...@68%

Note that 3959V7234 is the highest on the people's setup but on mine, it's 48% and unstableunstable.

Also, on my setup, the polarity is H on all the above transponders.
