Please guys unclejudax williamso diboss . I went to the German embassy today to certify my documents, and they gave me a leaflet which said I will need to book an appointment for that, more so, I should bring along my completed university application form.
My problem is this, for me to be able to print out the application form, I must have finished the application process, uploading of my certified documents inclusive.
Hence, I WILL NEED THE CERTIFIED DOCUMENTS TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION.
How then am I supposed to bring an application form which is not yet complete, because I need to certify my documents.
Or, do I not need to certify the documents to be uploaded to uniassist during .y application?

u don't need to certify it. U will only certify the hard copies u will send to them

Hello Nairalanders, I applied online to a university in Germany and I've gone to the Fed Min of Education to get all my documents authenticated( SSCE, ND, HND certs as well as my SSCE ND and HND transcripts). in filling the online application they demanded that I attached evidence of previous academic studies records and at another point they demanded for my CV, professional courses so far acquired + educational histories. I have all these (IT placements, NYSC training, safety training course as well as my current work records) .
However in one of their write ups on their web pages they stated that one should only attach educational records as they only assess educational certificates. I really want to know if I can still go ahead and attach the proofs of all records as contained in the application form itself or follow this their write up. Pls candid answers are expected. #Teamwinter

firstly I want to comment on ur certification. I don't think German universities accept certification from any place other than notary public (law court) or more importantly the embassy am a living witness. So I advice u to send an email to the international office of the school to ascertain if they will recognise the stamp from the ministry or not or better still book appointment and go certify it in the embassy or go to high court and certify it. As of the documents to attach, I advise u attach all the documents that u think can increase ur chances of getting admitted.... U will not be penalised if u attach an unwanted document.

My questions are a bit specific and I have not be able to get a reliable answer yet from browsing several pages, starting from part 2.
I will appreciate if anyone will find time to address my questions.

My questions are:

1. I'm already 31 this year. What are my chances of securing admission and visa to study programs taught in English at any Germany university using only my O'level (WAEC) that I obtain since 2003. I'm interested to know if my age will be a major barrier

2. I understand the deadline for submission for most schools is July 15th, can I still meet up for winter resumption date

3. Almost all school I have researched request TOEFL/IELTS as part of their admission requirements. Can I sit for any of these exams and get result for my application before the winter deadline?

All suggestions will be highly appreciated.

1. Yes u can secure an admission with ur Waec but I hope u also have at least a first year transcript to back it. Age is not a barrier
2. U can still meet up if u really want it but ur documents should be sent via DHL/FEDEX cos u don't have time for NIPOST
3. Go to daad.de, there are so many schools that do not require TOEFL/IELTS as part of requirement so long as u have done English tought program here for naija....... U could also check if u could secure a place with TOELF/IELTS.
4. Have u heard about the new forex policy? From Monday guys could be looking for 2.5m-3m to fund block account instead of 1.8m

where you born after 13th December 1992? If yes go to any NPC office in ur locality and get birth certificate from them, if NOT the go to high court and swear an affidavit 'deposed to by ur father or mother' cos no be u born yourself........ Ur parent can get it for u from high court or u can tell high court that ur depodent is ur FATHER.

I got the admission during summer session but due to block account issue I couldn't make it but I contacted the school and they deferred my admission

scan ur block account opening form, admission letter and passport data page. On the interview day u are welcome to present ur block account form receipt from Embassy. It. Must not be funded before interview

No No No. She told me it might take up to one week before it gets credited bcs her scanner is faulty so she couldn't scan it. So it can only be acted on when the hard copies gets to head office.... Danke

the trick is all about commitment to there work and monitoring when bidding takes place. CBN have a bidding website that opens once every week. The window opens for a very few hours mostly on Wednesday/Thursday morning. If the person in charge doesn't carefully monitor it, it will close before he knows it..... @dprinz99 please understand that I can't send u her number cos she didn't ask me to release it to anyone. I can only direct u to the branch so that u go meet her one on one. I have said before that it is inside UNN nsukka. It is the only diamondbank branch inside the school... The lady told me she gets so many customers bcs of how fast she does her own.... Pls u can go there or contact the head office for further advise.... I intend applying to a university in Germany and they stated on their website to fill the application form online get it printed out and signed and send the certified documents to me( certification from the embassy) with other corresponding degree certificates and transcripts that I've acquired and send to them.
I've heard of authentication at the ministry of education and legalisation at the foreign affairs ministry. I want know if its a protocol to observe that I will take my documents to the min of education for authentication thereafter to the ministry of foreign affairs before the embassy or I can take them directly to the embassy for certification or how is it done properly.
pls this is urgent I intend setting out by Monday for these activities here in Abuja. Thanks all

just take the necessary credentials including ur international passport, results, transcript, application to the embassy directly but don't forget to book appointment first.

why not ask what trick am talking about? Well this bidding process if not properly monitored can come and pass without the person doing it for u knows it. The window opens once every week. Precisely on Wednesdays or Thursdays so when next u visit ur branch beg them to monitor it for u. End of discussion

futurewise please don't make it sound like am a crook ok I have nothing to gain by saying they debited me same day if they didn't. My dad is not the CEO of diamondbank so I can't be running a free advert. I repeat, I applied and was debited same day(Wednesday). The lady even pre-informed me that my account would be debited that day bcs according to her CBN was bidding at that moment. I saw her submit mine and later same day I got a debit alert of 1.823000. This formA thing all depends on who did it for u. Some bankers don't know the tricks involved in doing it while others do. Let me stop here before I say another thing u would doubt...... Next time pls always verify

Hello winter peepz I applied for Form A today at diamond bank and I received my debit alert today....... Isn't that incredible? And there rate is cheaper compared to some banks like GTB, UnionBank etc. Though the transaction was done with USD but when I tried converting it I found out that it is around 225/euro. Unionbank/GTB is around 240/euro.

Everyone do not sign the last page of your blocked account form i.e. the depositor's form. Unlike what @painpill suggested to sign it, the lady that attended to me asked me why i signed it... thank God it was not the white lady...God knows what would have happened. I REPEAT!!! do not sign the last page!

did u just advise people not to sign the depositor form? Why? I remember it was that same naija woman that attended to me the day I went to submit mine. She makes a lot of mistakes, she even collected the old form from me and I was bounced bk by DB. I letter resent without writing anything in tax ID etc and not signing depositor form and was bounced bk again and asked to sign it by DB. My guy I pray for u today
