Politics › Northern And Southeast Leaders With Osibanjo 5 Points Agreement by lightblazingnow(op): 9:58am On Jun 24, 2017 |
Arewa quit notice: Osinbajo meets with Northern and Southeast leaders, 5 DECISIONS reachedAuthor: Chika Jones Following the recent ethnic tension all over Nigeria, Acting President Osinbajo, met with leaders from all over Nigeria to quell the tension and reach an agreement on peace. The meetings were convened to provide a platform for frank and open discussions between the concerned stakeholders on issues relating to the unity, peace and security of Nigeria. The meetings touched on various issues relating to the ethnic agitations that have manifested most recently in a call for secession by some groups of youth from the Southeast, and an ultimatum by Northern youths for south-easterners living in the North to leave the region by 1st October 2017. Below are some agreements reached during the meeting: 1. Condemned all the hateful and divisive rhetoric by the concerned groups of Northern and Southeastern youths. 2. Affirmed the primacy of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the ultimate basis for the unity of Nigeria. That Constitution guarantees freedom of residence and of movement for all Nigerians anywhere in the country, without fear of discrimination or prejudice. 3. Affirmed the need to draw a line between the freedom of expression guaranteed by the Constitution and the degeneration of expression into hateful rhetoric, prejudice and hatred. Under no circumstances will Government condone or tolerate hate speech in any way or form. 4. Affirmed the necessity of confronting all grievances and frustrations head-on, however uncomfortable that might be in the short-term; instead of ignoring issues and allowing them to fester. 5. Affirmed the need for all leaders and elders, regardless of political or ideological persuasion, to speak out more forcefully to counter divisive and hate speech and warmongering. The Acting President also said in conclusion: “There is a point where a line has to be drawn, and that is when conversations or agitations degenerate into hateful rhetoric, where the narrative descends into pejorative name-calling, expressions of outright prejudice and hatred. “Let me say that we are not deaf to the legitimate concerns and frustrations arising from around the country. Every part of Nigeria has its own grievances. But these have to be expressed graciously and managed with mutuality rather than with scorn and disdain. “All of us have agreed that our nation must remain one… I think that there is clarity as to that one thing, that our country ought to remain, must remain, a united country.” https://www.naij.com/1111697-arewa-quit-notice-osinbajo-meets-northern-southeast-leaders-5-decisions-reac.html

Introduction
https://www.quora.com/Is-drinking-water-good-for-blood-circulation
Water is essential for cellular homeostasis and life. Without water, humans can survive only for days, and severe dehydration leads to cognitive dysfunction, delirium, and coma.
During sporting events, dehydration is associated with decrements in the athletes' physical performance. Mild levels of dehydration alter mood and cognitive function and reduce concentration, alertness, and short-term memory in children and young adults.
In the elderly, dehydration is well known to compromise cognitive function.
Aging blunts thirst and drinking responses, making older people more vulnerable to body fluid imbalance, and increasing their susceptibility to cognitive decline. Indeed, dehydration is a predisposing factor for confusion in long-term care residents.
Furthermore, plasma hypertonicity, a marker of dehydration, increases the risk of ischemic stroke in hospitalized patients and may precipitate cerebral ischemic events in susceptible elderly individuals.
The mechanisms responsible for these effects have not been clearly elucidated. Dehydration leads to reductions in brain volume and changes in neural activity in brain areas involved in fluid homeostasis, but little is known about the factors responsible for the alteration in cognition.
One possibility is that dehydration disrupts critical cerebrovascular homeostatic mechanisms, such as the increases in cerebral blood flow (CBF) induced by neural activity or by endothelial cells, that assure that the brain receives a supply of oxygen and glucose well matched to its energy needs.
In support of this possibility, alterations in cerebrovascular regulation are often associated with cognitive dysfunction.
Furthermore, vasopressin (AVP), the plasma level of which increases with dehydration, is involved in the cerebrovascular dysfunction induced by administration of slow pressor doses of angiotensin II (ANGII).
The effect is due to AVP-mediated expression of the potent vasoactive peptide endothelin-1 (ET-1) in cerebral blood vessels, which, in turn, is responsible for the cerebrovascular alterations.
Therefore, in this study, we sought to determine whether dehydration alters the mechanisms regulating the cerebral microcirculation. We found that dehydration induces a profound disruption of the ability of neural activity, endothelial cells, and smooth muscle cells to regulate CBF, which is associated with cognitive dysfunction assessed using the Y-maze. The effect depends on AVP-mediated oxidative stress and induction of ET-1 in cerebral blood vessels.
The findings provide the first evidence to date that dehydration alters critical regulatory mechanisms of the cerebral circulation, which may reduce vascular reserves and contribute to the associated cognitive dysfunction and increased stroke risk.

Circulatory system
circulatory system, also called the cardiovascular system or the vascular system, is an organ system that permits blood to circulate and transport nutrients (such as amino acids and electrolytes), oxygen, carbon dioxide, hormones, and blood cells to and from the cells in the body to provide nourishment and help in fighting diseases, stabilize temperature and pH, and maintain homeostasis. The study of the blood flow is called hemodynamics. The study of the properties of the blood flow is called hemorheology.
The human circulatory system (simplified). Red indicates oxygenated blood carried in arteries, blue indicates deoxygenated blood carried in veins. Capillaries, which join the arteries and veins, and the lymphatic vessels are not shown.
The circulatory system is often seen to comprise two separate systems: the cardiovascular system, which distributes blood, and the lymphatic system, which circulates lymph. The passage of lymph for example takes much longer than that of blood. Blood is a fluid consisting of plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets that is circulated by the heart through the vertebrate vascular system, carrying oxygen and nutrients to and waste materials away from all body tissues. Lymph is essentially recycled excess blood plasma after it has been filtered from the interstitial fluid (between cells) and returned to the lymphatic system.
The cardiovascular (from Latin words meaning "heart" and "vessel" system comprises the blood, heart, and blood vessels. The lymph, lymph nodes, and lymph vessels form the lymphatic system, which returns filtered blood plasma from the interstitial fluid (between cells) as lymph.
While humans, as well as other vertebrates, have a closed cardiovascular system (meaning that the blood never leaves the network of arteries, veins and capillaries), some invertebrate groups have an open cardiovascular system. The lymphatic system, on the other hand, is an open system providing an accessory route for excess interstitial fluid to be returned to the blood.[4] The more primitive, diploblastic animal phyla lack circulatory systems.

Scientists have performed some pretty interesting studies related to the effects of dehydration on the body. In one particular study, scientists sought to uncover the effects of dehydration on the circulatory system, specifically the cerebrovascular regulation (normal brain function). In simplest terms the body is an amazing machine; one that can operate for long periods under stress and neglect (with diminished capacity over time) and it is very sensitive (treat it well and it will function well). It would appear, based on some pretty good scientific analysis, that hydration is the fuel that keeps the system in check, and keeping the system at the level of homeostasis is critical.

Romance › How to be the wife every man would desire to marry by lightblazingnow(op): 8:24pm On Jun 23, 2017*. Modified: 3:41pm On Jul 14, 2017 |
How to be a wife every man would loveMan who can fulfill all his sexual, emotional and life fantasies. The problem is, most women get married and forget why their man was attracted to them in the first place. They get married and become complacent. Sometimes, not taking out time for grooming, self-development and self-love. Especially after having kids. In times past. when women get married, they relegate their position as a wife to the bedroom and kitchen only. They forget about all the dreams they had before getting married. Their ultimate focus becomes to cater for the home. Such mentality is why men take side-chicks outside to play the b**** role, while having a woman at home that plays the wife role. The trend of ‘bedroom and kitchen wife’ is fast-fading as the modern-day woman still aspires to fulfill her dreams and achieve personal life goals despite being married. Although as a woman you have no control on your man’s actions outside the home, you can influence his thoughts by becoming every thing he needs so he doesn’t think of taking a side-chick lest acting upon it. Let’s take a read at some things a woman can do to ‘Be The Wife He Wants’ HAVE DAILY PERSONAL GOALS – every morning, from the moment you open your eyes and prepare for the smooth running of the home, think about what you will like to have achieved for yourself at the end of the day. Even as a working wife, you should also have daily personal goals. While making breakfast for your hubs and the kids (if you have any), ask yourself “what do I want to do ‘for me’ today?”. If you don’t have anything you want to do for yourself, then you need to find it. Don’t be self-redundant. Repeating the same process over and over again. Be spontaneous, creative and intelligent for each other. At first it might seem attractive to your man that you manage the home effectively, but in time, especially after being married for a long time, such an attitude becomes boring for the man, so he seeks for adventure outside the marriage hence the ‘side-chick’. ALWAYS DRESS UP, EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE NOWHERE TO GO –
When you wake up, take a bath. While some women have a job to go to everyday, others don’t, well even when you don’t have a job or a shop to go to, start your day by taking a bath. For the housewife, the moment they have a bath, they automatically think of what to wear. You should do that too. Don’t let those clothes go to waste in your closet while you wait on your man to take you out (a feat that hasn’t happened in a long while and you aren’t even sure if it will ever happen). When you wake up and dress up, your man automatically asks you, ‘are you going somewhere?’, which is the reaction you want to elicit. Dress up, wear a lipstick or lip-gloss, cos when your man sees it, the next thing that comes to your hubs man is to kiss it off, and we all know morning sex is the best sex. If it leads down that road, he will be so preoccupied with thoughts of you at work and will hurry home after cos he knows he has a wonderful dessert waiting for him upon arriving. DON’T BE AN AVERAGE WIFE – The average wife does nothing besides wait on her man for everything. From food, clothes, money or any other thing, you shouldn’t make your man you entire world. Be an independent wife. Intelligence is attractive. Your hubs being your world, undisputed, every woman should have what sets her apart asides looks. You must be able to hold a conversation with him at all times about things he is interested in. If you don’t know it, take the time out to learn or read up on it, discover what he’s interested in and build your knowledge on such subject matters. Men talk to side-chicks about their dreams, things they don’t discuss with their wives if she isn’t smart, cos they think ”she won’t understand”. You should aim to impress your hubs, intelligently. He married you cos you made an impression on him as a single woman so he decided to attach himself to you forever, hence you shouldn’t be an ‘average wife’ with no dreams, goals, or passion. Read, Learn, Discover. You will always communicate effectively when there’s a relationship with common interest. BUILD INTIMACY AND NOT MISSIONARY SEX –When was the last time you and your hubs ‘watched the movies and Chilled’? No matter the situation, be it money or marital probs, couples who make out time to get intimate with each other stand a higher chance of sorting out issues when they arise, compared to those who don’t take time out to get intimate with each other. And I am not talking about ”mummy and daddy sex”, I’m referring to your hubs laying on the couch or bed behind you, while you’re both in each other’s embrace, while you both watch a movie you both choose, eating popcorn (or whatever junk you can afford) and just relaxing together, laughing and making hilarious comments from scenes in the movie. Men do these things with their side-chicks, so why don’t you learn the side-chick rules and beat her at her game? SEX SHOULD BE ADVENTUROUS Go wild once in a while, if you are a drinking woman and your hubs doesn’t have a prob with it, you could both play a game where the loser drinks, and you can lose deliberately and drink to get high. Intoxication definitely makes you Hot and trust me, when you make love while intoxicated, you lose every inhibition and just bring out your inner ”kink”. Your hubs will love you so much more when you stop pretending to be a good wife and just bring out your inner kink for him. He won’t condemn you or think low of you, rather he will be so proud to have a wife who’s real about her sexuality with him. Be who you would be if you had a gigolo with your man. Make your man your gigolo. Take him how you’ve ever wanted to take a man. His body is yours to fulfill your fantasies too, it’s not just him fulfilling his fantasies with you. It’s been proven that couples who have a great sex life, last longer in marriage and easily settle issues cos the sex is just too good to walk away from. https://twitter.com/brigtini/status/885871889629016066 |

Three years of war left southeastern Nigeria in ruins. Estimates of the death toll range from one million to six million. After the Nigerian federal military government - supported by the UK - imposed blockades that made it difficult for aid groups to deliver food and relief supplies to Biafra, many children died of kwashiorkor, a severe form of malnutrition characterised by a distended abdomen.
Igwe Christopher Ejiofor, aide-de-camp to Ojukwu throughout the war, remembers carrying nearly dead children as he helped to manage relief services.
"I can't count the number of people I picked [up] who were at the point of starvation and death," he says. "And every time I took them to the hospital, they died and I [would go] back the next day [with more children]." Igwe Ejiofor is the traditional ruler of his community in the southeastern state of Enugu. |

Sometimes folks think they are prepared to take a certain steps while in reality they are hundreds of miles away from readiness.. They were never ready to experience the truth. It isn't a hidden agenda that Most local Igbo boy's have been clamouring for secession
Nigeria's ethnic politics
With an estimated population of more than 180 million, Nigeria is often called the "giant of Africa". The complexity of Nigeria's population is compounded by its ethnic diversity. Around 250 ethnic groups, each with their own languages, reside in Nigeria. With a myriad of ethnicities dotted across the landscape, three major groups tend to emerge in national dialogue due to their sheer numbers: the Yoruba, from the southwest; the Hausa-Fulani in the north and the Igbo from the southeast.
Pro-Biafrans say the federal Nigerian government is discriminating and marginalising them, the Igbo people.
Perceptions of marginalisation
"The southeast feels it has been politically marginalised. There is a point to that. It has been shrunken from being one of the three major regions of the country to now being virtually a minority with the smallest number of states of the six zones in the federation," explains Nnamdi Obasi, a senior analyst at the International Crisis Group.
He says that there has only been one Igbo president and one Igbo vice president since Nigeria declared independence from the UK in 1960.
Pro-Biafrans also complain that the federal government is not funding enough infrastructure development in the region, despite a recent announcement by the federal Minister of Power, Works and Housing that road construction will be completed in the southeast.
The southeastern region of Nigeria has five states, while other regions have more.
"They certainly are at a disadvantaged position now," Obasi says. "The political configuration of the country ensures that less federal allocation gets to the southeast."
Nigeria's national economics is closely tied to its politics. Nigeria is a highly centralised federalism that relies on revenue from oil sales. Money trickles down from the central government and more money flows towards regions that have more state and local governments.
The 1966 killings began after a group of young army officers - some of whom were Igbo local champion -overthrew Nigeria's democratic government and assassinated several people, including the prime minister and other northern leaders.
Then the North retaliation
"They came with every dangerous thing, some with arrow, some with gun, some with cutlasses, some with iron. So anything they could handle, they handled it and began to kill Igbo people," says Lawrence Akpu, recalling the day in 1966 when he was in a market in a town in northern Nigeria where he lived with fellow Igbos. "Everybody started running up and down and from there, we left everything we had."
Akpu joined the mass exodus of Igbo people from northern Nigeria to their ancestral homeland in the southeast.
Kanu I believe didn't read the last war report and how the war started, yet he is about to step into the same trap foolish Ojokwu went and destroy the lives and properties of innocent people who are busy making ends meet... I really do not know why the Igbo's who are well traveled in history will continue to allow local minded and belly profits folks like Nnamdi Kanu and his blindfolded travellers to keep detecting for them or is the blood of the innocent Nigerians who were murdered by the senseless decision of Ojokwu crying for revenge.
The big question is what has the Igbo's given to the Nigeria and Nigerians as a national resources to share or is just agitating on the empty jangling and babbling.. I have never in the history of my entire life heard of north agitating for secession from Nigeria even though they have sustained Nigeria and Nigerians during the pre oils era. And the Yoruba too since they know that their national contribution when it comes to Natural resources is little have remained humble and calm. Or is the Igbo's banking on the oil in the Niger Delta to assert control of another man resources....
For what I have read and heard the Niger Delta have never demanded to be separated from Nigeria government, all they have been asking for is to have a control of their God Almighty given resources. What does Nnamdi Ojokwu generations wants from us
Instead of us allowing the matter to get to a stage where no one can handle it anymore, the Almighty God through the Arewa group took the first step which foolish Ojokwu couldn't take to prepare the minds of the Igbo's living outside southeast to do a heart test if they are ready to abandon their wealth and prosperity and to fall back into poverty and starvation and sicknesses and diseases as were formally forced into by Ojokwu and his local minded folks. No one and I repeat there is no one who can survive alone. During the last mistake...

I believe that the well traveled in history Igbo's know better than allowing a fully demon possess Nnamdi Kanu to ruin their lives and subject them to the same treatment Ojokwu subjected the whole of not only the southeast but even the Niger Delta and it's environmental responsibility..
Reason my dear brothers who are living outside of the world of stupid agitators who wants nothing but the honour of mortal. Ojokwu and I repeat and Nnamdi Kanu must reap everything they have sown in the Igbo land and Nigeria as people... Let me warn all of you supporting the useless cause...
For the record, Ojokwu started the war the first time and here is another spirit of Ojokwu through Nnamdi Kanu about to start the war again against the Nigeria government and the southeast.
Thank God Almighty it came to examination before the war. Can you be willing to abandon Everything you owned in the north to start a new life over in the East Ask them. I read that the Governor's have agreed that we all should stay together. That's brilliant and they should know better because people have invested their lives in different regions, what do you make of that. And if you eventually lives the other man's land, no one will refund you of any thing you previously owned, this is completely nonsense and not just measures.
Tell your foolish brothers to stop or if they are ever seriously of their agitation they should begin the exodus of Igbo from other people's land let us see if they can... Enough of the talk talking and no action....
God Almighty bless the Niger Delta greatest and reward them for their matured and coordinated approach...
Long live us all.
Blessed

US declares support for Nigeria's unity as tension continues over Biafra Author: Eromosele Ebhomele - The United States ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Stuart Symington, spoke when he paid a visit to Governor Abiola Ajimobi in Ibadan - Mr Symington said the United States was interested in Nigeria and this was why he was visiting states within the country The United States of America has spoken about Nigeria as the latter continues to battle with agitations from the south-eastern part of the country for secession. According to the US ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Stuart Symington, the foreign country and one of the world powers would continue to support Nigeria’s unity. Symington said his country will continue to work towards the promotion of unity in Nigeria. Symington said the US is interested in Nigeria's unity He described Nigeria as the strength of the world’s most populous black nation. Vanguard reported that the ambassador made this known when he led top officials of the embassy on a working visit to the office of the governor of Oyo state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, in Ibadan. The envoy said that the US recognizes the strategic importance of Nigeria in Africa, adding that his visit was in the furtherance of his country’s mission to explore new frontiers of partnership for development with African countries. This is why, he said, he was touring every part of the Nigeria. He urged the government of Ajimobi to work with the US towards setting a new pace in socio-economic development. “This visit is not just a courtesy call; It is in continuation of America’s vision and mission. We are looking forward to working with your state to set up a new pace in development. “We are happy to be here and I’m telling you that Nigeria as a country is loved by all Americans and even in the world for the sake of the unity the country uphold,” he said. NAIJ.com learnt that Ajimobi, while speaking earlier, sought the assistance of the US government in his administration’s efforts to promote human capital development and technical education in the state. The governor noted that technical education was the missing link in the country’s curriculum. He said technical education was necessary for the country’s accelerated development. Meanwhile, despite the hues and cries that greeted the three months quit notice given to Igbos by Arewa Youth Consultatives Forum (AYCF), a Coalition of Northern Youths has written a letter to the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, begging him to allow Ndigbo to go and have their Biafra Republic. In a statement sent to NAIJ.com, a Facebook user, Yazid Ahmed said the group lauded the peace and conflict resolution moves being done by the Acting President, but noted that it doubted the efficacy of it in bringing a lasting solution to the problem in question rocking the nation at present. https://www.naij.com/1110896-us-declares-support-nigerias-unity-tension-continues-biafra.htmlUK Declares Support For Osinbajo Over Nigeria’s Unity
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has received plaudits from the United Kingdom through its Nigerian high commission. The UK said it supports Osinbajo’s efforts at stemming the threatening calls for the dismemberment of the Nigerian federation.
Joe Abuku, the British High Commission’s Media Officer, in a statement on Wednesday said, “We commend and support the Acting President and all those who have opposed these statements”.
“All Nigerians are entitled to live wherever they want in Nigeria, and we support that right unequivocally.
“Statements calling for the forced removal of one group or another to another part of Nigeria are dangerous and irresponsible.
“We call for calm and for reconciliation between the many ethnic groups and communities that make up and contribute to the strength and diversity of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” the statement further stated. https://www.newsbreak.ng/2017/06/uk-declares-support-osinbajo-nigerias-unity/

A boy and girl were so in love and one particular day he wanted to have sex with his girlfriend, he needed her badly that night, though they planned meeting the next day, but this boy insisted on seeing her that faithful day. Being in love where promises are sacrosanct and breaking such was labeled breaking his heart.
A phone call recording was obtained from the boy who is still in shock wether it's true or he is to wait a couple of days to see if his girlfriend, the love of his life would return.. here listen to the recording
On phone call,
Boy: Hey swittie Girl: Hello my love Boy: I miss you Girl: I left there only two days back Boy: you know how much I love you, I wish we could be staying together. Two days are too much for me to spend without you. Girl: I know but today its too late now. Its already 5PM I'll not be able to come now may be tomorrow. Boy: hmmm, ok but I wished I saw you before I sleep. Girl: ok I'll come and by 7PM. Boy: sure_? Promise you will, my love Girl: I have never lied to you my love. You know I love you dear. Boy: I can't wait, ok I'll be glad. The boy started to prepare everything, he checked outside whenever he had a sound of a vehicle. 7PM, the girl didn't appear. "Maybe she is still busy" he thought. 8PM, He thought may be her mother refused her. At 8:30 PM, He saw her come and welcomed her but she refused to touch him and sat opposite to him. "Maybe something is wrong with her" the boy thought. Immediately his phone rang, it was Mum of the girl. Boy: hello Mum, Mother-in-law: my daughter is dead. She has died in an accident coming to you. Boy: this is not possible. The phone hangs up. The boy raised his head to face the girl and found her facing him with a candle as she smiled "I didn't break ur promise" she then disappeared.
*Love involves making promises and fulfilling promises. Eternal Life is real and you are going to live forever.... Wether you live or die
