The company's stand on not having a branch in Nigeria is due to many factors which are Nigerian and business related. Setting up a business anywhere comes at a great cost and Umidigi might think they don't have enough market base to tow that path, this may even be backed by their financial books.

However, even though they do not have a branch here, they partnered with a sophisticated phone repair company to oversee their product repair service.

This repair company has 4 branches in Lagos, 2 in Abuja and another in PH.

I noticed most umidigi phones are running Android 11, do these phones get OTA updates at all, probably to android 12.

The newer models run android 12.

Software updates to solve bug issues are released every now and then.
