Correction, the first ethnic Igbo IG was Mike Okiro from Egbema in Rivers State. Egbema was in the Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta LGA of the old East Central State. New states were created in 1976 and Egbema was in the new IMO STATE. However, there was a boundary adjustment exercise and Egbema which is an oil producing area was taken from Imo State and given to RIVERS STATE. We are all IGBO and these military made boundaries should not divide us. Cheers.
